Is there a way to set up DCS with different profiles for different users ? I am running Windows7 , I have my log-in with all my settings, what I would like to to create a shortcut in my son's log-in where he can start up and have a different pilot and set to arcade mode. Any ideas on how to do this natively ? or even a hack to accomplish the same thing

I personally was just hoping for an answer , which I got, did not have to be a dev :smilewink: A Hind would be cool well . Now if we can just get EDGE and some theaters we'd be in business :thumbup:

I figured it out, I had to calibrate my throttle, the A-10 will not start the engine at ~25% throttle (which is what my minimum was set ). After calibration I can go to 0% throttle and it starts up just fine.

Yes, tried that and no joy , and just did the F-15C and it starts engines just fine and takes off

Yep , moving throttle did nothing . Seems to work fine in the air

Trying to start on the ramp I have have engine start mapped to my joystick, but when it hit it only the APU seems to come on, can't get the engines to spool up. What obvious thing am I missing ?

Yes, that's more what I mean I think :thumbup: In Rise of Flight for instance I just set up a QM and go at it for 20 min at a time or so. I miss the FBP like we had in LOMAC ;)

Yep, no track IR , also I am talking about targeting and setting up the weapons and things as well. No doubt with practice I will get it down. Maybe A-10 and BS need a "save feature" so I can save the game in the middle of a mission and pick it up a few days later.

I have been playing the heck out of FC2 lately , to be honest it is the right amount of fidelity for my life. I need a "medium-core" sim that I can fire up and plug away at for an hour or so and get maybe 2 missions in. It's unfortunately all I have time for. I am playing some Black Shark as well , I actually love the switch flipping, but by the time the Helo is ready for action I need to shut down and deal with real life. :( . I'd love just FC2 with a new plane or 2 (F/A-18C , and MiG-27 ;) ) and some new ground units and a new theater or 2 . Not trying to say they is something ED "NEEDS" to do or I demand them to do, just a comment on what type of simmer I am these days.

Did you try and change to "Res. Of Cockpit displays" to something else ? I'd give that a go and see what happens at different settings.

How do I tell if the IR jammer is turned on ? Is it still the big green ECM ,Noxzema ;) button ?

The ones that allow for a hit at the furthest range. Therefore at x altitude y sized target moving in manned z . There can never be a kill beyond maximum range.

The parameter is "maximum" range , therefore the maximum range a missile can score a hit under optimum conditions .

Good thing only the KA-50 is modeled first, its gonna take a while to get the hang of that ;)
