  2. I know that the RBK-500 cluster bomb has 268 munitions, but only 26 munition visual effects are rendered in order not to kill the frame rate. Is it possible to do the same thing with the gunpods, the GUV-8700 minigun pod in particular as it absolutely murders fps?
  3. Currently i can't use the mouse at all to control the kord, even if i do the old trick of pausing track IR. The only method that works is track IR aiming, if i press L-alt T i then can't move the gun at all with any controls.

  5. Yes i think it's bugged again, i once again can't pick up a C-130 at a slightly higher altitude in my radar test mission.
  6. Just discovered another big problem with the ASP. I've been adjusting the sound files as i've always felt the missile lock tone is a bit on the quiet side and hard to hear over the cockpit noise, especially if you don't like to use hear like in helmet. I replaced the stock sound files with a couple of really loud, annoying and distinctive reference tones so i could tell which sound file was which, and it's become clear that there is no seeker tone playing at all, only a lock tone. If this were modelled realistically we should here the seeker 'grumble' style tone and then a lock tone when the seeker head has picked up a target, much like the F-86.
  7. Great mod thanks, one bug i did notice was the weapon stores screen no longer displays when alt clicking the PPA test switch.
  8. I've had the same bug in 1.5.6 very occasionally, no idea the cause and needs a game restart to fix

  10. It's buggy in MP above 3km alt also, inverting the aircraft causes the targets to show up for some reason.
  11. Hi all, hopefully someone else can confirm this or not. If i deflect the stick fully in the roll axis, the roll rate and roll response is slower than if i partially deflect the stick. This was a confirmed bug in a previous version and appears to be back again. I have MSFFB2 and unfortunately don't have a regular joystick to test this with. Cheers
  12. Indeed, the FM is still very disappointing 2 years down the line. Hopefully now the viggen is released LN can put some resources back to finishing the 21. I also have the same feeling about the engine stalls having read the report you refer to, and remembering back to 1.2 version when LN erroneously interpreted the real world stores maximum G safety guidelines as absolute mechanical failure figures, leading to the pylons falling off the plane nearly every flight.

Mmm, i think it is still beta as; -they are still making very large changes to the FM -the ASP and weapon selectors just don't work as they do in real life and thus can't be considered 'simulated' -gun pods don't work -nuke panel doesn't work - Most IR missile not working/bugged -Jammer pod not working -Navigation is simplified in FC3 style
  16. Could anyone test to help verify? In MP with 5 mixed targets infront within less that 20km range of me i've noticed i only pick up 2 targets, but if i fly inverted the radar picks up all 5 targets no problem. This was a bug a couple of patches ago and seems to be back.
  17. There is quite a lot of problems at the moment. The FM is still a work in progress. There are quite a few bugs at the moment with the IR missiles, the gunpods don't work, the nuke panel doesn't work & The ASP and weapons selector are still awaiting a rework.
  18. Err that's not what that charts says at all, if that were the case; ;loadouts by row, then in the first row we see we can only load 2x R550 magic 2 and nothing else.
  19. Not sure which bit of manual you mean. I see a chart which details what weapons can go on which pylons but not a chart that details combinations which can and can't be used together?
  20. See my acceleration tests on page 2 and Maleks PDF, Mig 21 in current patch is both slower in acceleration than A) real life B) previouse patch FM. The qualitative experience of performance and effectiveness changes between patches is what led some of us to investigate, no one is asking for War thunder style balance at all.
  21. Strangely it works fine in single player but not in multiplayer, no mods installed.
  22. Rounds always fall short of the pipper and it appears different if TAS OR RS IS SELECTED. In TAS rounds seem approx 10 metres short whilst in RS it's a bit better at around 5 metres short
  23. As above, in the latest patch there is no option to select the outer pair, only 'INT' appears on the PCN there is no 'EXT' anymore.
  24. Yes that would be nice, as it stands the 21 has gone from being fairly effective in the F5E v Mig21 server to useless, it's now the F5E getting 15 or 20 kills to 1 kill from the 21. People are actually flying the Mig15 more against the F5 !:(
  25. So any word from the devs if this is going to get fixed any time soon?
