  1. whats the name to bind the airbrake, i can't find it
  2. afterterburner doesnt make your rpm higher, it will just inject fuel in the nozzle and with the hot air, it will burn and create more thrust just notice that the fuel flow will significantly increase when you at full forward position
  3. Hi guys, I can't put the throttle in the idle position for engine start, even wth Rshift +home ? Can't we do it with the mouse ? Wha't the name of the function so i can blind it on my X56 ?
  4. thank you sirs
  5. Hi guys, i won't be able to fly for a week. i would like to learn the system in the meanwhile, can someone kind enough PM me the manual ?
  6. I have the same issue with the mirage 2000, looks like its the same fly by wire model
  7. Thnaks but i'm more talking about elevator trim
  8. Why do I need to trim/Trim too much sensible ? Hi Guys, I thought the F16 had an autotrim feature that makes the aircraft almost Flight path stable for instance, you fly level and reduce speed with stick neutral, the flight controls software should pitch up the aircraft. But At the same time it want's to maintain 1G ( C* law) so it wont be able to maintain efficently the flight path. ALSO the trim is very very responsive, like the mirage 2000, I press one notch of trim and the plane will pitch like 5+ Degres in only one press, I can't even release the stick, always have to keep back/forward pressure on the stick to maintain flight path Is this normal ?
  9. thnaks for the info
  10. Hi guys, I was wondering if there is an X56 profile for the F16 so far ?
  11. yeah more about that, you you can easily fine tuned the throttle position to maintain speed
  12. radar during approach ?
  13. What I'm talking about id thid: http://www.mille-sabords.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=56479 you can see that at each side of the FPV ( flight Path Vector) there is a triangle. It is really useful to make precise thrust changes espcially during approach, flight formation... if these traingle are aligned with the horzontal line of the FPV: no acceleration, plane will maintain current speed If is it above, you are accelerating and vice versa and the more above it is, the more you are accelerating and vice versa. I was wondering if there is a such feature in the F16
  14. Yeah you have to see if the speed is increasing or decreasing or stable It's a shame they haven't thought of something like the mirage 2000
  15. Hi guys, regarding HUD, i'm used to the M2kc and the ones in the A320/B787... The chevrons gives to the pilot the information on the current acceleration of the aircraft: above FPV : accel Below FPV: Decel Is there something similar in the Viper ?
  16. Gotcha, maybe a new compaign for te m2kc in the perisan map in the futur ?
  17. i understood that missile wise, their are modeled by ED
  18. after rewatching this videos, it seems quite flight path stable, the flight path vector barely moves
  19. yes. MICA are both IR and EM
  20. yes so that means when the stick is released, the Flight path is maintained (in certain conditions of course), it wont be able to maintain perfectly the flight path in a 60° bank roll.
  21. that's correct I fear guys that he -5 wont be available for us sundays simmers, or if we are lucky, it will be with FM,Radar and weapon degraded. We might get the -5 but with a more simplified and degraded radar and no MICA missile
  22. i don't understand, I dont undertand why all combat aircraft are nt flight path stable with auto timming, would make maneuver easier. because unlike a commercial aircraft, you are always at not constant speed, meaning that you will need to trim every time
  23. normally your aircraft is symetrically loaded and assuming its not a turboprop, you only need to trim the elevators except if it has autopitch trim like the A320 and above family. Why would you need to trim the aileron or rudder ? unless you have one engine failure, asymetrical load, fuel leak.... I didn't understand why the F16 pilot needed to rudder trim his f16
