  1. Hi Thanks for answer. There are several points "road only" between the end of the course setted as "of road" and the point where the trucks begins to become crazy. I've tried an other way but it's the same. The only way seeming to be ok, is letting the soft choosing the course between the departure and the arrival, with just 2 waypoints. But in this way, it chooses to get around the international airport by the south and goes towards the north by the road on the east of KLAS. But, i want that the truck pass on the strip. The thing i havn't tried yet, is to change the destination and a turn on the left instead of right on Charleston bld. But north-west of LV is more residential with less parkings for trucks.
  2. HI I want to make a mission on Las vegas. The scenario is that a truck carriyng a big amount of heroïne is coming from the south to an unknown destination in Las Vegas. I've chosen the red truck from the mod "ranger79s mod pack". From the sky, in Huey, the player must spot it, then follows it but not too near and to low altitude to not be spotted by the nasty guys until the truck goes on a parking, somewhere in LV, to operate their outlaw transaction with a local gang. Obviously, i want it to pass on the strip, for the fun. So, i put the truck on south of LV, on "south Las Vegas Bld" and i place my waypoints. For every waypoints, i do care to choose "road only" for the truck. All is ok from the departure to the waypoint after the stratosphere tower. After this tower, i've chosen to do the truck turning right on "Charleston bld" ( thanks google earth !). But after the stratosphere tower, the truck does what it wants and not what i want. It turns between the trees, through buildings, sometimes does an half turn and goes on the opposite way. Sometimes it stops once and for all, on the road or a parking. I've checked all the waypoints, they are all on "road only" except the last in " all terrain" for the parking. i've tried to slow down the truck ( at this point, the road become narrow, but never, never it turns right on Charleston bld). Perhaps the map has a road problem at this point ?
  3. Hi Thanks for answer and forgive me to not answer before. To be honest, i've not all understood what you've explain to me. I've found an other way to activate the trigger, just with the time parameter, and not an cockpit parameter and i'ts good. But, i will explain if i need other parameters for the future: Before, I've made an other mission and in those mission, the player can hear a police radio transmission only if the UHF receiver of the Huey is setted on 255 Mhz. I don't remember where i've found the cockpit parameter, surely on this forum or an other but, with the condition "cockpit parameter equal to" the parameter "UHF_FREQ" in the frame "cockpit parameter" operates well, and i set frequency to 255. In the third column, i've chosen "transmission radio" then play sound ( i've made the sound with audacity, youtube and the police soundtrack of the game need for speed, in a .wav format). I set a transmission power (100W) in a trigger zone just including Las Vegas with transmission frequency setted to 255000 Khz and all operate good, i hear the police pursuit only if my UHF receiver is on 255 Mhz and ON of course, and if i fly too far from Las Vegas, i loose gradually the radio reception, like in the reality . If i explain all that, it's because i would like to find a list of all cockpit parameters for the Huey like the one described before "UHF_FREQ". Perhaps this list is included in some .lua but i don't know how find it. Thanks !
  4. Hi I want to activate a trigger on a UH-1H mission. The cockpit parameter is: BAT-SWITCHER-PTR ( found in the clickabledata.lua) i've tried the value "1".not good ! i've tried the value "ON".not good ! Which value is good to activate the trigger when the Battery switch of the Huey is ON ? Thanks !

  6. Hi I've just discovered this mod yesterday when i've downloaded the green war mission in user file section. In DCS 1.5 i've tried to place some objects in a try mission and many of them do not appear: The objects do not appear in the mission but are visible in mission editor. I've installed downloaded the mod yesterday by the link given at the top of this topic with JSGME. Help please ! Thanks !
  7. Hi I've done a little mission above Las Vegas with some IA Huey following their flightplans above Las Vegas. I've found how making a loop to force them to return to their first waypoint after passing the last but i would like to force them to land at KLAS only if the amount of kerosene is < 10%. I think that it's a lua predicate but i'm totally candid to do that. Thanks !

  9. We discuss together about that but the aim of this topic is to advise the ED team that the road traffic in LV is really missing me and surely many other customers all around the world, and that i hope they read their forum and that they're doing what it must be done to erase the problem.
  10. Sorry but a highly detailled town as they have made for LV, is not a absolute nescessity for a combat simulation, if you choose this point of view. If my favourite flying machine in DCS was a jetfighter, i wouldn't care about the road traffic in LV. It's not very important in high altitude. But DCS has sold some choppers, one of them, the Huey, is my favourite flying machine in DCS and choppers are made for flying on low altitude and relative low speed. And flying in low speed and low altitude above the desert streets of a such big detailled town, is unrealistic, especially when you have already seen that the traffic is implemented. I don't forget that it's an alpha version but it's not the same thing that if the traffic had never be implemented. I'm in right to think that it's just a little mistake because this traffic already exists. Surely not a big work to correct the problem. I don't know if you understand what i want to say. In exemple, the airliner traffic on KLAS is unrealistic too but has never been implemented. I can suppose that perhaps they're working about that and i can understand that it is a big work and i wait patiently as each others. But the road traffic problem is a big back step, with surely no big time to be corrected .

  12. I begin to be a little annoyed. No news from ED about this problem and soon two weeks that i don't fly anymore above a post-apocalyptic LV. I hope that ED will resolve the problem very soon or giving us some official news about that. I'ts quite the minimal thing to inform customers. I begin to have the feeling of being punished.
  13. One week now that i don't fly anymore over LV. Without traffic, no interest for me to fly in a Huey above desertic streets. Hope traffic will be back very soon.
  14. Sorry for the bad section to report the problem. This morning, new update available, downloaded and game launched: Disapointed, the 23 Mo update hasn't erased the problem. The traffic in the streets isn't back again. With no traffic, i dont feel the need to flying above LV, for the moment. Waiting for the traffic back again, i 'll return to fly, for the moment, on my FSX.
  15. I've looked at the mission but civil trafic was always on high, as before and for trying, i checked the forcing case. No way: Just 10 percent of the trafic i had before, no vehicles on the strip and the highways.
  16. Hi Since the last update of yesterday, i have no trafic on the main street of Las Vegas. Cars and trucks are present on other street but absolutly no vehicles on the strip. in fact, on the other streets, the trafic is strictly reduced. All the main streets are deserted.
  17. Hi Could it be possible to include all models of the traffic AI Las Vegas ( cars, trucks, bus, trains ) in the mission editor ?

Hi Ed Team Before recently registering on this forum, i've always ask myself a question, and now, i hope to get an answer: Why the AI virtual pilots in FC2 or DCS-FC3 are flying very far from each other, even if the player ask a close formation, but in the first Flaming Cliffs, you've been able to program them to fly correctly in a close formation ? Why aren't them able to take-off in formation instead of n°2 and followers waiting that the plane just before had taken-off ? It's not very realistic and i know you're able to program them to fly in close formation because UH-1H are able to flying in a close formation, so the DCS engine allows the close formations in other modules than FC3. Why not in FC3 ?
  21. Hi Ed Team Thanks for this abolute amazing map. In France, the date of the release of the Edge engine and the Nevada map had become a subject of joke but when i see the quality and the optimization, i understand now why. I bought this map essentially for the UH-1H and i will create for myself some police missions but for that, i need US police cars and US cars. Kamaz and Hummer to simulate burglars pursuit aren't very realistic. In a other way, i havn't see the Paris Las Vegas hotel with the replic of the Eiffel tower, or the Venetian hotel with the campanile tower. Do you intend to add this famous hotels in the official version ? Thanks !
