Hi all, just tried a few times the air-to-air engagement yesterday (in VR) and it seems that the AI has a completely different aircraft then myself! By all means, I probably suck at air-to-air combat, but how can the AI not overtake me in a situation like this: me- coming out of an immelman, speedbrake on, throttle to idle, flight path to intercept his and speed is 130kts, with sever shaking in the airframe. him- came out of a split-s, and just reaching the bottom of it, he was able to stay on my tail without overtake me? Not sure how he depleted his energy?? The performance of his plane are just different from mine. If he gets on the tail, there's no way to shake him off. Cheers, e.

Hi all, I am trying to host a test server, and trying to connect with a friend in New Caledonia. We can't seem to be able to see each other servers. The usual suspects are all ok: Windows Firewalls off (the three of them) Router is DMZed Server is Public Now, I went into my DCS.log file and found some lines in the form: TCP 100.xx.xx.xx redirected to 192.168.xx.xx UDP 100.xx xx xx redirected to 192.168.xx.xx Server broadcasting at 219.xx.xx.xx I think the problem lies somwhere between these lines above? Why are there 3 different IPs. Of course my IP is 192.168.xx.xx, and the 219.xx.xx.xx is the public IP, but what is the 100.xxx..xx..xx one? Cheers, e/

Sorry guys to hikack the thread but I am wondering which resolution are you guys with 4Ks display running at? I am asking because in the future I'd like to replace my 27" monitors with 40" monitors/TV and I wonder if running at 1080P would be ok or the display won't be as sharp?

Hello all, not sure if this is a bug or it is me not doing things right: before flight I engage the press the magnetic brake button once, trim for hover, and take off. No problems there. While reaching for a hover after a flight, I press again the magnetic brake button, and then autohover. Now, coming out of autohover, the gazelle starts spinning to counterclockwise uncontrollably. Applying full right rudder does not stop rotation, and I cannot seem to be able to pitch down or up. It doesn't respond to the controls. If I then decrease throttle to mininum, I can then stop rotation and regain control, while falling down like a rock. Is this a problem or I am doing something wrong? Cheers, e.

I tried 3 times to land at waypoint 7 of the first mission of the campaign, without success. Not sure I'd try again at this point, I will just mantain a hover. A bit more forgiveness goes a long way, at least for me.

Okay, solved the problem. The problem was actually the server.lua file, not the snapview.lua. All good. Thanks guys.

I tried a repair but did not make any difference. Can anyone post a vanilla snapview.lua? Thank you!

Don't think it's that. It only happens in the copilot and engineer seating positions. And same thing for the Huey.

Any help with this guy's? I'd appreciate some as i can't fly those helos. Tried reinstalling the Mi8 but made no difference.

Guys, I have a problem with the Gazelle and the latest patch: the TrackIR no longer works in it. Works in the other aircrafts I have tried. Moreover, choosing a different seat in the Huey, MI8, and Gazelle, brings me either outside of the aircraft, or breaks the cockpit and I am 5 meters back with an open model/broken. Any easy solution for this? Thanks!

Andre, quick question: what is the difference in running the Gametrix in USB mode compared to the sound mode? Will it be better to run it in Sound mode? I can connect it to the SUB out of my motherboard. Will the feedback be enhanced? Thanks!

HI all, I have been trying to figure out how to send target position over datalink in an MP mission created by a friend, and playing on his server. We can see each other's helos on the Abris, but the datalink seems broken. We have configured it correctly using different channels and Com/wingman but still he is not receiving target info. Is there anything that needs to be done in the mission creation? I think we are part of the same group as well. Thanks! E.

Hello Davis, yep already tried those solutions. I always assign a keybinding on my hotas for the comm menu. Again, I can open it while on the ground, but does not pop up while flying.

Hello all, I was flying around yesterday in the Ka50 and noticed that while on ground the comm menu appears, and after take off, the menu does not appear anymore thus I cannot give instructions to my wingman. I was doing the included Convoy Hunt mission. Can anyone replicate this? Thank you,

Hello uboats! Adding that line does not change the position of the kneeboard to the center monitor for some reason.

Is this updated for 1.5.4?
