  2. Hello there, in the Air-to-Air training mission, the Magic Missile that I fire against the transport airplane detonates in mid air, very short of the target. Not sure what I am doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Cheer e.

  6. Well, I just tried this and I have to say for a first implementation it makes an enormous difference. I have been running everything on max setting but MSAA at 4x and AF at 8x. I am now running MSAA at 8x and AF at 16x and I can go higher. The only problem is that around the cockpit edges there's a translucent part that becomes very visible while making very fast turns. Also, the ground surface now wobbles a bit, as if it was jelly. Not all the surface but parts of it. I tried the F5E in the Instant Action Take Off which has always been taxing for my PC. Can't wait to see the next implementation of ASW! Cheers. e.

  9. Hi there, I just bought the Advanced Qualification Campaign but it tells me that the mission requires activation. I went into the DCS directory and tried activate it there, but DCS keeps telling me that it needs activation. Any help? Cheers e
  10. Thanks a3an4e. I would be interested in understanding the architecture of the cockpit: meaning each panel will have an arduino board? And each board is going to have a USB I/O that communicates with DCS ? I dont think so as there won't ever be enough USB ports to support all the boards. I guess then each board needs to be connected to a Master board which acts as a HUb and that Hub is in fact connected to a single USB port on the PC. Is this how it should be implemented? Cheers, e.

  15. Hi all, not sure if this has been brought up again, but noticed that in VR the cockpit of the A10C - or at least some elements of it - are gigantic. One example is the HUD and its frame. Way too big to be realistic. Anyone else noticed ? Cheers, e

  17. Hi all, I never had a single problem with DCS and the Vive, and never had to run SteamVR before starting DCS. But since the last update, even if the VR option in DCS is enabled, it won't start in VR mode. I need to actually launch SteamVR and then launch DCS. This causes a huge drop in FPS. (was running everything on max setting and maintain 35-45fps before the last patch) Anyone else having this problem? Cheers, e.

  19. Hi all, yesterday I was doing one of the three pre loaded missions on the P51 - defending the airport from agressors, and the AI behavior while fighting in A-A is not implemented well. We got into this endless spirals, and the only way to get out of it was to start turning to the other side. Anyone seen this? Cheers, e.

  23. Hi all, is there any way to reduce the sensitivity of the POV switch on the Joystick of the Warthog? I can't seem to be able to trim the aircrafts properly beacuse a blip on the POV results in too much movement of the trim. Any way to reduce the steps? Cheers, E.
  24. That function does not zoom the view. It changes the position of the "headset" in the cockpit (forward and back) With right control + shift you can also use num 8, 6, 2, 4 to change lateral and vertical position.
