  4. If you have a small soldering iron, you can probably repair it yourself. If not, I should be able to repair it at no charge. If you can pop the cover and take a pic, I should be able to see if their is any damage.
  5. Hey Jarhead, Are the Aux buttons still working out for you.
  6. Hey PhoenixRising, Just DM me your address and I will send out a replacement. Its nice to see v1s still going strong!! Miles
  7. Nice button design for the mouse wheel. I am moving to a similar design for the next iteration of PointCTRL. Good Stuff!! I love seeing this type of home grown innovation. Miles
  8. Somewhat good news. Since we began shipping again after some production changes, we invoiced and shipped 30 days worth of orders in the 18 days . We have also started another round of manufacturing process improvements with the goal of doubling production again. Thanks again to everyone for your support and patience. We will continue to increase production and improve PointCTRL. We have some new things in the works for both firmware updates for v2, and are looking forward to a v3. Miles
  9. Hey DoorMouse, Can you DM the email or name you pre-ordered under so I can check it out. Thanks Miles
  10. Hey DoorMouse I juist saw this, did you get your invoice? Miles
  11. Hey Tundra, Yea, I am the mostly active on the PointCTRL Discord. If you fly the Huey, you should join us over there on Wednesday nights at 2000Z for co-op Helo Ops. Miles
  12. Hey Guys, Production has increased, and I will continue to invest to continue to speed things up. Note: Last weeks batch that went out had a bug in the calibration code. I have fixed it as well as added a few new features. This update is only for version 2 and is available here https://pointctrl.com/firmware/
  13. Hey Murph, I could not find your request on discord, I recall you asking, If you send another I will get an invoice right out, The Aux Button are 25.00 USD per set of 2 (6 buttons total) with the harness and coverings. Thanks, Miles
  14. When you calibrate it should will take care of that. You will also have to where the FCU backwards. I do have a monitor prototype done that works completely different. Two sensors mount to upper left and upper right corners of the screen and the IRLED faces up. and forward.
  15. Unfortunately, they don't have them there. If you have Amazon there, these are the batteries. https://www.amazon.com/sea-jump-accessories-Quadcopter-Lithium/dp/B077ZT25PJ/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=150mah+lipo+battery&qid=1649007215&sr=8-13 Let me know if that works. Miles
  16. Hey Sr, Glad you are enjoying PointCTRL, It's not just your hand, PointCTRL can use a bit more tuning to help steady out the cursor. I am working on a GUI that will allow users to be able to adjust everything from IR light sensitivity to cursor smoothing to suit their needs best. Its always a balance between production and improvements, I usually go for improvements, which is why the wait list is so long. Thanks again for your patience, Miles
  17. Hey Sirrah, Wow 2 1/2 years. I remember you. I think you were one of the first adopters. After 2 1/2 years and those v1 batteries are getting on. You usually lose between 10% and 20%of capacity per year from Lipos. When it becomes a problem they can be replaced. I went with standard RC LiPos with a connector for easy replacement. Glad your still enjoying PointCTRL. Miles
  18. Hi Hobo, PointCTRL replaces the gaze cursor. When you put your hands down and stop using PointCTRL, the gaze cursor parks itself in the upper right hand corner of your HMD display, usually out of your FOV until it times out. It does not replace your standard mouse, they work together, with PointCTRL overriding the mouse when the FCUs are active and visible, Note to current PointCTRL users. After the recent DCS update that makes the gaze curser persistent, you may continually see it parked in the upper right hand corner of your FOV. This parked location references your "cursor targets". Therefore if you widen your cusor targets and recalibrate it may move it out of your FOV even though it is persistent. While PointCTRL does it's best to keep the cursor stationary (on the control you are pointing at) while you move your head, it's still needs a bit of work. If you pan your head slowly, the cursor will remain mostly where you are pointing. However, with quick head movements, the cursor will move away with your head movement for 1/10 to 1/4 of a second from where you are pointing before settling back down to where you are pointing. I hope that helps Miles
  19. Hey there CSU, That's a strange one, the FCU should only work when the FCUs are visible and being tracked, unless there is another IR source that that the HMS is tracking. I would try moving the the HMS around with the FCUs off and see the the cursor moves. If it does, continue to move the HMS until the cursor is centered in your 2d monitor. At this point the HMS should be looking at the source of IR interference, ie window, light, or track ir. Let us know how you make out. You can usually reach me pretty quick on discord, where we can go voice and screen share to sort things quickly. Good luck Miles
  20. Hey Don, I put them on the charger when the headset comes off and I am done flying. Right from the fingers to the charger.
  21. Hmmm... Never had that happen before, sounds like some sort of spam filter maybe. I can send to another email address if you like. Miles
  22. Just DM me the email address the invoice went to, and I will update and resend the invoice link before you pay. Thanks
  23. Looks like it's going to be delivered Monday, Thanks for your patience!
  24. Yea, I think the new USPS bulk scan form got fubar. I tried to tell them when I dropped the last batch off but they were not interested. I am doing another run tomorrow and I will inquire about yours and a few others. Sorry for the delay,
