Are you sure? The F-5EM has terrible range, terrible payload capacicty, and poor BVR capabilities It can only carry 2x BVR weapons. It Doesn't matter if the avionics are modern when the plane its self is old to compete with other modern aircraft. If you think that most of the people that criticize the F-5EM don't know what they are talking about, PM me and I'm pretty sure that we can have a good debate.:):) I don't wanna leave the topic, so let's hope to see the F-5E II coming tomorrow. Yeah, It's sad that our best fighter is the F-5EM. Mirage III is my favorite too! :thumbup:

Just out of curiosity, most Brazilian aviation fans hate the F-5EM/FM. Just because it is a limited platform compared to other fighters jets. We are expecting the new Gripen E/F in 2019. Our Gripen have a different than the original one:
