  1. Hi. When I design a mission in the editor and play it, the Uragan's rockets always falls short of the designated "Fire at Point" target. The mission has no wind
  2. Hi. Back in the day I could set nav tgt points in the mission editor and use them as waypoints. I can't seem to locate that feature anymore when I select A-10C as an aircraft. Other aircraft such as ka-50 and Viggen still has that feature. Anyone know why it's not there anymore (bug/removed)? Or is there another way to repeat that functionality? If anyone is wondering what that was, it's the tab with a square icon next to route, payload, failures etc. I appreciate your answers and wish you all a great morning.
  3. I hereby confirm that the bug is still present in 2.5
  4. Hi. Just wanted to point out that formation lights (the stripes next to the cockpit) are not working at all in 2.2. Tail light is barely visible. Will it be fixed soon? Apart from that, does anyone know a viggen-specific config file that I can change in order to have more light on the exterior and the interior(apart from gamma)?
  5. Hi. The L/R fuel balance won't affect aircraft roll unless one side hits 0LBS. Expected behaviour or bug? Can anyone enlighten?
  6. It is enabled. And as I've stated, it works with every aircraft except for L-39.
  7. The preset failures that are set in mission editor does not trigger at all. Tried the same settings (100% probability, within 1 minute.) with different aircraft. They function as intended. This happens both in L-39ZA and L-39C. and it happens both in 2.0 and 1.5 EDIT: the mission debriefing shows the events actually fire during the mission, which means they are working but has no effects on the aircraft itself/
  8. Hi. I was flying a bit over the limit last night and found out that the loud bang noises occur when high AoA are missing. Was this removed on purpose? Is it a bug? Or is it only on my side? ( I don't have any sound related mods installed) It occurs in both 2.0 and 1.5
  9. Hi all, I was trying to learn each weapon by referencing to the manual, and came across a problem while trying rockets (s-24's). the manual states we should use "gyro" for all ground targets. It also says that "gyro" uses all 4 parameters, and "fixed" uses 2 out of 4, so my thought was that fixed is more limited in accuracy but is more stable. contrary to this, it seems like i'm only getting ranging calculation only when i'm using "fixed" mode. let me paraphrase my problem, so it makes more sense: I start a dive towards the targets. In fixed mode, I can exactly see where the rockets will hit (fly level and you can see it won't make it to infinity. The pipper falls down.). Also, the range needle starts to move towards 0 further away, compared to gyro mode. In gyro mode however, it's always stationary with the exception of some sway (pitch changes/roll etc.). It behaves like an A/A gun funnel sight. when flying level, the pipper shows infinity. so my questions are: *when I've searched the forums, i've seen some threads regarding inconsistencies between the manual and the sim. Is this about that or am I doing something wrong? *should I use gyro when armed for s-24s against stationary ground targets? *which 2 of the 4 parameters does the fixed mode use? *why does it feel like only fixed mode is calculating terrain? thank you all for your time and I appreciate any help you could give me with this issue. Have a nice day. EDIT: I've discovered the same issue applies to A/G guns too.
  10. I have created a bug report in leatherneck's bug tracker. feel free to add additional info that you might have: https://leatherneck-sim.mantishub.io/view.php?id=674
  11. did this happen 1 time or happens all the time in that mission? You can post the mission here so I can check myself too.
  12. Hi dave76, It would greatly help the others understand what might be the problem if you can send a screenshot or a photograph of the screen. I'm thinking it could be a scree resolution/aspect ratio setting problem which could be fixed easily.
  13. Hi. I've just received Mig-21 and I'm trying to learn it by going thru the documentation. I've just noticed that the middle mode in ground clutter compensation works, by eliminating some radar reflection from the ground, but the top mode(where it tilts the radar by 1.5 degrees) doesn't help even a little bit. I've tried this while flying on the deck and high above. It's the same as the middle position mode. I'd appreciate it if you could enlighten me on this functionality. Thanks
  14. are you sure sir? what you've posted doesn't include any prmg or rsbn type localizers.
  15. Hi. I recently got into the l-39 as well and discovered this thread. I'd like to know if the glideslope functionality is broken on a few airfields or in all of them? also i've found something such as: glideslopeAngle = 2.0 + 40.0/60.0, on caucasus beacons.lua. Tried adding that to the nevada lua but didn't work. It might be a mistake on my side but you guys should give it a try too if you'd like.
  16. I second that question. What's the purpose of B-scope if it's stuck on the position set in mission editor? Shouldn't it at least switch position when I change the position of the waypoint in PPI? Can I use b-scope to re-position waypoints more accurately over a ground target?
  17. Hi. I've read the manual and it says the passive scan mode returns jamming signals. Is that the real-world functionality of that feature? Wouldn't it also return some signal if someone was actively locking me up (a SAM site for example)? I apologize if this is a noobish question, I don't know how exactly the radar systems work in real life but i was just wondering. I thought the passive scan is just like a more accurate RWR. Thank you all
  18. yes, you're right it fluctuates rapidly between 99 and 100%. thought it's the SPAK trying to stabilize the flight but it still happens when it's off. Anyway, you can consider it as merely a visual bug. Even though it actually changes the flaps 1%, I don't think the effect will be noticeable.
  19. what's the status of your landing gear while observing this behaviour? Also the flaps are automatic - You might be inside the airspeed/AoA sweetspot where it changes the flap extension and maybe that's why it's fluctuating.
  20. Hi. the mission I post is working correctly, but as soon as I add an armed speedboat in the group of CVN and fire the mission up, it CTD's upon pressing "Fly". Only happens if i'm inside a viggen, didn't crash when I had the A-10C. Only happens if there is a speedboat escorting the CVN. Didn't crash when i removed the speedboat. ajsbattledeneme.miz
  21. Hi everyone, I'm not sure if i recall correctly, but I remember there was a light illuminating the tail number of the Viggen when I activated all the lights on the lower right console. But today I realized I can't seem to activate that light. Was it me remembering it incorrectly, was this a bug or did I mess my installation up? I'd appreciate if any of you guys could check it on your Viggens when you're otherwise unoccupied
  22. Hi. I've been following the manual and the youtube tutorials and I've noticed the Radar Release mode drops the bombs instantly instead of giving a cue point where I should follow (or a distance indicator as stated in the manual) while holding the trigger down. It even surprises the uploader of this particular youtube video: It's at 7:05
  23. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=96987 this is the bug thread for FC3. A-10A: I don't know what's the purpose of that part behind an A-10 seat, but I can say it's not a bug and it's specifically modelled to act that way under G. There's no way any cockpit component to act according to the forces of gravity unless specifically modeled. MIG29S: The flaps deploy evenly for me. Try pressing RCtrl + Enter (in cockpit) to see if you have your axis at an off-center position.
  24. I'm afraid some of them only have on/off states.
