It's been more than 2 years that we bought this plane and we are still waiting some promises that are not coming. Some of you will say again "be patient" and I would now respond "be realistic". I was the first one saying that RB was doing fantastic job (and I still think it) but all has been ruined by the attitude. You guys won't keep your customer only with beautiful promises. The Mirage will never be finished because of the Harrier as the Harrier as well because of the next plane. This is how thing works for some times now with DCS and 3rd party. Finally, the only thing I wanna say is : "do not play to much with our patience because seeing you working on the Harrier and the next plane while the Mirage ain't finished is not a question of patience..." I would love, as a customer, at least a response or an explanation from RB, but we had nothing from them on this thread, the Mirage might not be economically interesting anymore. Gators

Don't worry guys, the Mirage is in early access only for two years now, be patient please.

Are we only two dudes bothered by that ?

Just want to highlight something about AP limitation. It is written in the M2000C doc that the area of use is 50 000ft - 500 ft (200ft for landing). This is what pilots have to respect but not what the plane can do. I mean today when you are in final at 400ft you cannot activate the AP to trim the plane, which is possible in real life (even at 1 ft). It does not make so much sense that we can fly under 500ft with the AP only if we activate it above. Same problem with the 50 000ft. What I mean is that the altitude is not a condition for the plane to activate or not the AP but only a pilot instruction. What's more, when you are landing to Nellis, the runway is higher than 500ft QNH, so you can activate the PA until the ground. I would like to have your thought on that. Gators

DCS 1.5.8.12162 today for the Open Beta only

Because when a customer bought a product two years ago full of promise and has nothing but a flying brick after two years just because of an other product in development, I think he can care about the developers marketing plan. Gators

Zeus said that they will push the new FM in next update and after that that it will not happened due to a problem. He never said it will be push to the next one or the next next one or .... I am not implying anything, I am just saying that he never said next week or in the 1.5.8. Gators
-
Who said the M2000C's update will release next week or in the 1.5.8? None. Gators
-
It doesn't look evident because we were waiting for an update past week and the problem could have been solved since, that's why I am asking. Because you look so confident in what you are saying, it means nothing for at least the next two weeks. Gators

As we haven't got any update of DCS the past week, do we gonna have something this coming week ? Of course if there is an update from ED. Gators

I am not anxious Zeus, I just want to be sure that I will get what I paid for 2 years ago. I am not a AV-8B NA customer, so when I read that work on promised changed months ago are not start yet because of AV-8B NA, it does not make me anxious but a little bit in a bad mood.... Gators

Hi everyone, the max flight level of the 2000 is 50 000ft so the airframe is supposed to support the differential pressure between the inside and outside below this altitude. However, at 38 000ft the P.CAB alarm turn on and stay on unless we go down. I have nothing in my doc which talks about the P.CAB light on near FL400, have you ? Another one little thing, with both wing tanks at FL400 and MIL thrust the plane cannot fly. It will lose speed until stall. I think this problem has been already mentioned, if not it is now. Gators

IRL never less than 400kg for landing with the 2000C

Agree with you, but if it is just a limitation for DCS players maybe we could imagine something less restrictive like a multiplication of over-Gs before pull it off. Only one over-G seems very penalized. Most of the time, with the AA config (2 magic, 2 530D & ventral tank) I fly in AA position and be carefull with the Gs.

Hi Gents, I am back again with this story of Ventral Fuel Tank :megalol:. It is not about the AA & CHARGE stuff, it is about the ventral fuel tank pulled off beyond 6-7g. Even if the CONF alarm is on with fuel on the ventral tank and AA position, are you guys sure that the ventral tank will be pulled off the plane. I am not sure at all following what I said some weeks ago : Have you other informations that indicate the resistance limit. We can imagine to keep the alarm logic (CONF indication) but also keep the ventral tank on the plane even after 7g or more ? Thanks Cheers

Thanks Az, I put my noze on the doc again and you are absobutely right. Gators

No more landing gear alarm since last update : less than 225kt with throttle under 80%. Cheers Gators

Hi Everyone, With brakes or parking brake on, the plane starts moving with 90-91% of thrust but brakes should be able to keep the plane inert with 100% of thrust (without AB of course). This is the procedure for take off : 100% of thrust without AB on brake, release brake and then 100% thrust with AB. I don't know if you guys are working on it but this is something that was corrected some release ago and then the bug came back. Gators

Hi Gents, First of all I would like to apologize for my negative attitude in some of my last post. I have some new information today from a "Colonel de l'Armée de l'Air" and I have to admit that you guys are right and I was wrong. Here is a transcription of his e-mail : "... the Air-Air position is only allowed when the ventral tank is empty. I know that we put often the position Air-Air from the take-off to get all the capacity of the flight control for safety reason (not strike the ground) and that we kept a soft pilotage until the CONF light turns off, which it arrives fast before the combat area; but it was an unregulated action..." One more time I am sorry from my attitude. Gators
