  2. Sorry, you are Right, I'm not in the position to decide who is wrong. But instead of bitching around and demanding an apologize you guys could take it as what it is, a joke.

A German telling a Russian to chill and take a joke...

I picked a hell of a week to stop sniffing glue

  4. Things are going well. The engine updates I wanted to do are are done. The Hornet campaign is completed and in intensive play-testing for about a month now. It plays very nice and I love it :) But then I build stuff the way I do primary for my own enjoyment, so mileages may vary. There is still some polishing going on but I think a release will come soon.

Curious as to an update on this. Would love to give it a shot and promote it on the Alert 5 Podcast! We're all fans of your previous campaigns!

  5. I think the spec layer isn't working because the skin looks digital and the number section "827" is a missing texture.

There might be a custom SPEC layer that you might be able to delete from the skin's folder. These were created back in 1.5, so many updates and lighting changes have occured since then. I won't be able to take a look at it for a few weeks, but I promise I will when I can!

  6. I saw over 1,000 players online during the server test. Yes, 270 were server admins, but even so, I hope this helps prove that multiplayer is worth investing in and improving. Think about how much higher those numbers could be if it were more user friendly and accessible?

  7. People need to stop saying it has small wings.

It's wings are bigger then the Harrier and the F-5 and almost as big as an F-16s. It's just due to the shape of a tailed delta. Lol

You know what they say about tiny wings...

  8. Since you seem to have studied this thing and obviously know more about aerobatics, could you help me out with my observations/questions presented here?:

No need to resurrect that post but curious about your own knowledge and observations re the topics touched on.

    Thanks!

I think all the topics you touched on are correct to one degree or another, but when tweaking the FM, it's important not to go overboard on the effects. I mentioned this on another forum, but it's important to keep in mind that this doesn't have much more horsepower than your Cessna, and with not a ton more prop inertia. While the airframe is lighter and thus more susceptible to the effects of torque, P-factor, etc, it's not going to be a "holy crap" wild ride. Its a gentleman's aerobatic aircraft.

The absence of accelerated slipstream on the tail control surfaces was the first thing I noticed, but didn't kill the experience for me. I'm excited for any tweaks they make, but on first impressions, it passed the sniff test to me.
