+1 to the original post. First load up of the day seems to take forever. then when the game inevitably crashes after coming out of the flight session, the subsequent re-boot is speedy, around 45secs to a minute as mentioned in the post above

You don`t have a good lock. This is something i learned from being advised by Zabuzard. I solved my problems by going low aspect and instructing Jester to look at the slice of sky that the AWACS is telling me the bogeys are in. He usually picks them up around 35 miles then drops the lock. He`ll pick them back up around the 25 mile mark and you can lock up through the context button. Jester will actually tell you when you have a good lock and the shoot cues will illuminate and stay on. Just maintain lock for the duration of the missiles flight and it`s then up to the defensive bfm of your enemy! Since i have learned this, my use of Sparrows is no longer complete misery.....just mostly

It`s when he cannot see a Mig21 6 miles out on the nose no matter what wrangling of the radar behind the scenes i do. Or when he eventually does see the bandit and gets a lock, by the time he goes through his potatoes routine we`ve merged or I`ve had to make the kill with heaters. I`ve also noticed that every time i have to completed a radar lock using cage and NWS button the first Sparrow fired is dumb. The second missile fired using this solution tracks to the target with the same lock. May be a result of the below. Is any one else seeing the radar firing cue bars that should bracket the target above and below are wildly fluctuating resulting in a shoot - no shoot firing solution being displayed in the cockpit? This happens whilst in STT full lock. Thanks

Gave in! Bought it now cant wait for it to drop. It`s the only thing that can detach me from my viper! As someone said earlier time to dust off the flight controls and stash the wheel and pedals for a while

Can`t recommend the M2K enough. Far more satisfaction getting kills on multiplayer than with the FC3 planes! Cheers

Mig21 serial key unrecognized since update? Hi Since the latest update, when i load up either 1.5.6 or 2.0 it`s saying my serial key for the Mig21 is not recognised due to some kind of integrity failure. My verion of this is fully bought and paid for from ED website. :( Anyone had the same problem? Is this an issue to go to ED with? Thanks for any help guys
