So, nun sind meine Aktivierungen auch leer. @ED: Bitte beim nдchsten Produkt ein paar mehr...so 20 dьrftens fьr den Anfang schon mindestens sein.;) P.s.: Ich hoffe ich hab da nix falsch gemacht. Hab den Support angeschrieben das ich noch Aktivierungen brauche und meinen Key mitgeschickt...auf englisch das ganze natьrlich. Aber mit anderer Email Adresse wie hier im Forum angegeben.

There are a few fixed files for manual correction. Try search for "multi monitor". ED should fix that in the next patch(No, not next module!), since in the MP GUI it's also in incorrect position. -
Use this guide: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=49434 (Water=0 - Lights=1 and Effects=1 are the most important settings in my opinion. And definite for my old system wich had similar hardware like your current one) And install Win 7

AFAIK only when you watch tracks from other people as well as giving your tracks away to others. Should not affect your own tracks, made with the "reticle fix". And you should use my addon (link posted above by Griffin) with modman instead of change the script file by hand, so you can save and quickly restore to original if tracks gone broken ;) -

I know this Sim and played it. It's nice. But the graphic is really outdated. Even Falcon looks much better to me. And hey, it have a semi-dynamic online campaign:P

Reduce/turn off shadows and in options.lua: ["effects"] = 2 (or 1 for old systems) Will reduce fps drop.;) (At least for me with my crappy cpu, see my signature) Edit: I'm not sure yet, but reduce "lights" (options.lua) is may also reduce fps drop when shkval&beacon light is activated. Nice guide! :) You may should note at every settign if it depends on Gfx-Card or CPU ;) Because with my HD4870 I can set every GPU-only settings to very high. But some settings are cpu or cpu-only and these settings I need to turn down to lowest values, because of the shkval fps drops and airbase procedure(start&land). Edit2: Another one: Set "haze=0" and set the terrain/weather to winter. May an option for you. ;) And before I forget: Where? Didn't found it later....

No. The ME (the GUI) is user friendly. :) The AI (I surely mean Aircraft-AI) is what is not user friendly;) The ME is really easy to use, overall. (The GUI) But to make things in missions that you need....that is what is not user-friendly! Because you have to do workarounds that would be unneccessary if there would be more functions, logics and routines. But maybe you don't mean the gui but the functions, AI and so on... As I said, I sometimes make missions in ArmA. Belive me that is really hard to do, because you have to write your own scripts for every little shit. Espacially if you are not a coder, like me:) But you can do nearby everything in this ME with the scripts. Thats the difference. Or In Falcon the ME is very very easy to use. Select "Add Flight", select an airbase where you wanna start from, select the type of plane, select the mission type and the target, adjust the time and voila, you have a Squadron on a Base, the flight and all Waypoints you need to. You know what I mean? It could be sooo easy...;) A) Easy Editor with automated basic functions like in Falcon. And therefore not so much functions. B) Not so easy Editor^^ with lots of functions. Then I am ready to spend hours or days for good missions. But what we now have is anywhere in the middle which is user unfriendly.

Where did I say that it is your moderation what prevent people form complaining in this Forum? And were did I say that the majority of the people/customer are complaining about the release adn developement priority? And I did not mean that thread only, I mean the whole DCS Forum when I say "Forums like this". I (now) ;)) say that the fanboys of this forum do prevent people complaining. I didn't know the code. And maybe it is not bad in overall. But for the usability as a mission creator it is crap. Sorry, thats how it is. When I have to test and trial&error hours over hours about let them defend an airbase and/or bomb a runway or something else and must read Forums for help, there is definitely something wrong. Edit: Sounds good. I'm eager :) I point you on that after the release when I'm not happy :D

Und warum weiЯ das nicht mal EvilBivol-1 und antwortet mir statt dessen ich solle es so und so probieren?:music_whistling: Anyway, gibts ne Mцglichkeit einen Ausfall zu simulieren? Irgendwie? Ich meine, so fьhrt es das alignment per INU-Fixpoints ad absurdum. Es kann sich ja nix verstellen...man hat ja quasi immer Kontakt. In noch keiner Situation hatte ich bisher nen Ausfall. Zumindest nicht solange als das es mir aufgefallen wдre oder sich mein PVI/ABRIS verstellt hдtte. Ich krieg echt die Krise....immer wenn man mal was besonderes oder interessantes machen will funktionierts aufgrund irgendwelcher Einschrдnkungen nicht.:(

Now I know what you mean;) You're right on that point. In this case I mean the whole Falcon Enigne with its DC. Sounds better? And ehm, no, I cannot coding AI. I am no programmer. And I do not get money for it. But I can see so many games which have much better AI. And their dev's are not a staff of hundreds of well payed coder ;) (Don't want to say that ED'S staff is that big ;))

Yes, that is what I always said. We need smarter AI. ;) GGTHaros, sorry, that was an own goal:) And what you guys not understand is that the DC is not only a statistic thing. Sometime I have the feeling that some of the people that say things like that, never seriously played Falcon 4 Allied Force. It is more then statistics. Within the player bubble you can see how smart the AI reacts to their surrounding field. They can autonomousley attack flights(for self-defence), even when their task is CAS/OCA or anything else that is not their primary task. They do not need exact instructions in detail via flags&trigger. They are smart enough! The AI routines are complex enough! And when they can't handle the situation, they call for help. And if you are close enough, the Awacs ask you if you are able to help. Same goes around if you are in trouble. I mean this kind of Radio Chatter and AI behaviour. This is what we need. The above is only an example. Play it for your self and you understand how limitated and stupid/simple ED's AI is. And you also understand and see for your own, that the engine from Falcon4:AF is not only statistic;) Again, there is nothing to say against the release of a patch 2.0 for FC. Go and release hundreds of patches in the next 50 years for FC. It is absolutely exemplary behaviour on the community and customer.:thumbup: BUT: The priority is wrong. The time to release that patch is a slap into BS customers face. And not only in my opinion ;) I heard that from many other customers too. And here also not only from my squad teammates. And if you wonder why you only get positiv feedback and only a very small amount of negative....I have to ask you, are you serious? It is no wonder that people are not complaining. Espacially in Forums like this one, where you get muzzled if you say something against the holy game:rolleyes: I have the bad feeling that ED has overextend themselves capability and now try to gain time and meantime trying to pacify the community with such a kind of release. I mean, can you remember Wags words in the FAQ? "We are trying to release a module every 9 month" or something like that. As we all can see, that is much to less time scale for develope a module;) I agree. The Idea of the ME is great. The muliplayer stability is good. The training tracks are good. But the limitations of the engine&editor are too big:( Thats what I think and said too. Edit: That is exactly what I think whe I read postings like yours ;) I played it for a couple of years now. And I now exactly what the DC is. And not only the DC is making funny and interestig multiplayer missions. The Mission Editor in Falcon is really really simple. But you can have much more fun and needs a lot less time to build big scenarios(like in BS and/or FC) which are semi-dynamic because the situations are (or getting) always a bit different. I'm really no fanboy of falcon. I complained much against something in Falcon4 AF. And I don't fly Falcon for month now.

1. You forgot all the people who bought new hardware for their computer to be able to run BS with acceptable fps. And also all the input hardware(HOTAS, TrackIR and so on.);) 2. It is solid, but unfinished in my AND in many other people's opinion. No one says that we are dissapointed because of this! I never would do. I and others are dissapointed of the priority of ED's developement. Thats all. 1st A-10 and 2nd FC2.0 and we(at least we both :)) would not discuss now;) :thumbup: Good call... Where is the mission cache? Is it the temp folder?!? Seems like Trackfiles only...no names, just date+time as filename. The only one released SDK yet.;) They never said that they release it shortly...sure... No, I talked about AI (Artificial Intelligence) Radio Chatter. Not human;) AI Radio Chatter is not possible because there is no dynamic battlefield/campaign. And even when you put in thousands of Air&Ground units, you never will hear them talking. You never hear some Flights calling for help. You never will hear AWACS telling you that Bandits are inbound. You never will hear Tanks calling CAS. etc. etc. You completely miss the point. Even when there are 100+ missions all over the internet, which I doubt!! It is absolutely annoying for many of us, making missions. And hey, I make missions in ArmA since OFP! You know that demonic editor, scripting language and nutty engine behviour and bugs??:D But we are not talking about strange behaviour...we are talking about missing functions!!! That is much more worse then some bugs which can fixed. For lonewolfes or public player it might be okay. But for a big Online Squad it is neccesary to make interesting and/or dynamic missions/campaigns. And not to hopping through a few servers and grab missions from where you have no Idea if their quality is good. I'm really not sure;) It is not the thing with the mission. It is not the thing with the radio chatter etc. It is the sum of all together that makes long time multiplayer gaming for a online squad magotty (hope that expressions is correct!?) But when comes the improvements? When comes the mission planner? With A-10 or later? Or, other then stated, with a patch before the a-10 comes? There is no official statement, which tells me that it will not come before A-10. Earliest date... AND: I am interested in multiplayer gaming only. You see, I absolutely know what you mean. But I don't know a single Teammate(from our 90(!) pilots) that have FC ;)

Etheral, is it strange that some people are really dissapointed about ED's plans and behaviour? Look, I personally, fight for an own Forum at http://www.buddy-spike.de/vb/ (biggest(only? :)) german Falcon4 community) and in our own virtual online squad (49th Black Diamonds) I was one of the loudest that said that DCS-Series (BS and upcoming modules) will be the next study flight sim that will kick Falcon4's ass....latest in the next 1 or 2 modules. They make us an extra Forum (both, in Buddy-Spike.de and in our Squad Forum) because we hyped Black Shark and DCS and the plans and promises ED made. And what happend? After a short time of playing with the Kamov, when some of us was able to fly it, to use the weapon and so on. We wanted to do more. We want to fly good missions, not only training stuff. But how? Who will build the missions? Who have the time to build days over days on missions that are flown in an hour or so? And only once or twice before they were boring. We really stuck in having no content! Trying to make interesting missions are pure frustrating. (And besides: What about all the promised SDK stuff?) Even the simplest things are not working. (Waypoints with stop&go for example) There are too many things that killing the joy. Bad performance (fps), missing functions in ME, no ai radio chatter, no dynamic campaign (SP&MP), no debrefing in MP, Arcadic/cheating MP mode (respawn via rejoin Aircrafts), Arcadic/cheating kill messages in mp (you have to edit files to prevent it)... And that are only the MOST important things for interesting and ambitious Multiplyer Gaming for Squads. Better not start complaining about all the "small" things... I mean, take a look in this Thread: Missions/Campaigns Directory That says all:( Go there and look how "many" missions are build and shared in over 1 year of BS is out. Who want to make missions...with this kind of ME, the engine and its limitations? It is very frustrating if you spend money and freetime in your hobby (playing sims) and you have to detect that your hopings getting delayed again and again or even destroyed. I hope you understand me and what I want to express, with my crappy english skills:music_whistling:

No. Majority of DCS user that came from LockOn/FC want it. ;) DCS user from Falcon and/or other sims and/or new to sims don't (because most of them wouldn't/can't use it. They/we need other things that are much more important.);)

Nobody tested this? Sounds cool... How often I thought "I wish I had a third Hand now". Here it is :) Your brain as third hand. For example as control for shkval or something else. Or looking with TrackIR on a knob in the pit and think to press the button instead of take hand from the Stick and use the mouse ;) I'm sure that it is usefull, once you learned how to control it. KEYBOARD+MOUSE+HOTAS+PEDALS+TRACKIR+NIA+...... Sick:D -
Edit: Also es geht nicht. :( Ich dachte es geht, weil ich beim Ramp immer "GNSS No" stehen hatte. Aber nach weiteren paar Sekunden springt es dann auf "Ready" um. Sehr doof.

First I was schocked by thinking about commenting out hundreds of line's:eek: Then I found the very usefull function in Notepad++ to comment out every marked line, puhh...lucky me:D Nope, doesn't work :( I thought it works, because I Ramp and it shows me "GNSS No". But after a few seconds it switches to ready.

Nц. Jedenfalls hab ich nix geдndert. Wenn dann ist das standardmдssig. Aber ich bin mir ja nicht sicher obs im SP genauso ist, da ichs bisher nur im MP getestet habe ;) Heute Abend guck ich nochmal. Aber ich befьrchte beinahe das es nicht implementiert ist, daЯ man GNSS/GPS deaktivieren kann.

This happens when you try to make Screenshots during low level & high speed Airpot approach and accidentally lock your TrackIR:doh: (Pilot dead, Windows red, right engine still running and don't explode:D)
