  1. Just a quick post to let you all know I've posted my M2K MICA mod in the User Files area. I've been using it for quite some time in the 4YA servers and kept getting asked where I got it from so here it is: Mirage M-2000C MICA IR and MICA RF Missile Mod OVGME compatible with the current version (1.1). Stations: MICA IR weapon stations: 1,2,8 and 9 MICA RF 2,3,4,6,7 and 8. The cockpit panel codes are as follows: 'RFM' = MICA RF 'MAG' = MICA IR* *I have tried changing the MICA IR code in the panel and for the missile itself but when I do the IR seeker never works so sticking with the Magic II codes.
  2. I have posted a mod for this in the User Files section here Mirage M-2000C MICA IR and MICA RF Missile Mod
  3. For me installing the Nvidia Studio Driver instead of the Game Ready Driver helped. At least for a few sessions. Then it seemed to return although not as bad as previously. There may be a combination of issues.
  4. The way the world is going right now there's probably more chance of flying a real one than the virtual one.
  5. For now, DOSBox is how I relive it. Still a great sim (and with the TACTCOM update too), especially the dynamic campaign that was so ahead of its time.
  6. Thank goodness! Because there's a 14 year old me deperate to do this again. Good luck with the project
  7. Roger that. My Check for Updates wasn't finding any update. Sorted now.
  8. You're right. I have Quad-Views-Foveated installed and can tick and untick the box. I don't use QuadViews Companion though and OpenXR is disabled, so I'm running with just DCS, Pimax play Quad-Views-Foveated. I have clarified in the above post. I had it set to 1.0, but 0.85 gave me an additional 5-10 frames with very little impact on quality. Thanks
  9. I don't use the QuadViews Companion (although I guess my previous use of it could still influence my settings without it still running?). I don't have the beta of Pimax Play so I don't have the QuadViews Support within it yet, but I have I activated the QuadViews setting in DCS itself.
  10. Hi All, I couldn't find (m)any 3090 and Pimax Crystal Light setup guides online so I've been spending quite a bit of time tweaking my DCS, PimaxXR and QuadViews settings since getting a PCL. Today found something that gives me decent performance (50FPS) and quality on a 3090 RTX 24GB. First off, I no longer use PimaxXR or the QuadViews Companion, with a QuadViews toggle now available in the DCS Core Settings. EDIT1: These settings relate to the pre 1.33.01 release of PimaxPlay and still require https://github.com/mbucchia/Quad-Views-Foveated. Thanks@sleighzy. I'll report back with an update once I have tested with the latest version. EDIT2: You can achieve 60FPS by setting the Render Quality 0.85 in PimaxPlay with very little difference in image quality (IMHO). Thanks @Calvin.Pimax I'm just posting my settings for anyone else who might find it useful. Some may get more mileage out of it than others. Some may be able to (please) share tips on how to increase quality or FPS without trading off against the other factor too much. 11. Thank you to "G" for working on and fixing this.
  12. My Livery An almost black livery with a white wolf logo. Simple.
  13. A very late update from the OP but after I upgraded to 18Gb RAM the problem persisted. I purchased NTTR too and it runs like a dream in that. So clearly something related to the way Mirage integrates with 1.5 as myHellJumper said.
  14. I'm running 1.5.3 with a Core i7, SSD and AMD Radeon HD 5770 (1GB) but I also have 6GB triple channel RAM which may be the kicker. I've also clean booted win10 (i e. No additional process such as AV) before trying. I've tried with Mirrors on and off and it makes no difference. I ran a test with System Monitor and as soon as I unpause the GPU utilization use drops from 99% to 0%. Something's getting stuck or there's a memory allocation error on my AMD.

    Mirage issues

I don't have any problems at all with other modules. They all run at a relatively smooth 15-20 fps. Are there any additional logs or details I can provide to assist in diagnosis? I've tried with mirrors on and off and they don't make any difference. I've tried re-installing my video drivers and even flashed my video card AMD Radeon HD 5770 with the 'latest' firmware. I've just had AMD System Monitor running in the foreground and when I'm in pause etc the GPU utilization is maxed out. When I start flying/unpause it drops to 0%! - Log is attached.. I unpaused at 16:19:20 (check row 17, column R if you open in Excel). You can see it starts to improve again after my plane has crashed! :( AMDPM 27-4-2016 161905.zip
  16. I've tried re-installing again just to see if it made a difference and there's no change. I wonder whether the Mirage has been optimized at all. I've noticed that even in pause I only get 15-16 FPS.

    Mirage issues

Re-installation hasn't helped for me. My new Mirage is unplayable :(
  18. Someone suggested reinstalling DCS but it is a fresh install already.
  19. No problem. There's still no fix for this issue. I've posted a video[ame=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNpA-J0orMQ][/ame]

Thanks for the support. I just need a fix as otherwise this has been a waste of $52 . I've tried everything I can think of from my end.

Logs attached OK - Here are my logs and the system spec is as follows: Windows 10 Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHz (8 Cores) 6GB RAM 120GB SSD AMD Radeon HD 5770 1GB DDR5 Screen Res 1440 x 900 I'll attach a video if I can. P.S. - Can an Admin move this to Bug Reports so that it gets some attention from the Devs? Logs.zip

Same here... Bolt1, you're not alone. I also installed it yesterday for the first time and am suffering the same issue. I didn't find this post so raised it here (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=165063) but will continue on your original thread. I use FaceTrackNoIR instead of TrackIR. Before I posted I also tried; 1) killing other running apps 2) switching to low res. 3) stopping FaceTrackNoIR. I can say though that after running it a few times I did notice a slight improvement - I wondered if it was something to do with textures but there are other mirages in the mission that run smoothly (like the ones I see immediately after my one's blown up!) I'll follow up shortly with system specs screenies and hopefully a video if I can manage it.
  25. Duplicate issue Ok, thanks... I'll post to the original thread and send a video and stats too. Divadov - I'll attach FaceTrackNoIR profile shortly. It did take me a while to set up to something that was working.
