As long as you don`t have numbers with FPS and settings its lyrics again. As you can see in picture below framerates dip nearly two times no matter what resolution, and in 3 FOV mode or VR things get MUCH worse. No need to prove anything as it has been done before. And that overly appriciation thing... lirycs. Dcs is business. We pay for it. You lirycs will not get you modules or feed devs. Playing such sim on single screen is barely acceptable so multiscreen or vr is only way but in both scenarios it is performing poor. Take stock su-25t campaign, first mission take schval... thats it stutter party, take nevada vegas, take normandy... and thats with no shadows traffic etc off. Set shadows and trafic and i want to see you happy lirycs. Developer makes money- simple.

Nobody said right now! Since a long time no performance optimizations have taken place in DCS. I can name some 4 updates where performance became worse than back in next update! I havent seen a single update where performance would come up! An thats in few years time! 1.5 and 2.0. So read carefully. Dcs as a whole need performance optimizations! Ok not now but someday... some 2 years gone nothing:/ so 2.1 that everyone hoped again nothing.

Simply it is quite strange that performance part may take several years. We live in 2017 it is not acceptable to wait 5 years for fps to come up... be real take your time but make progress on matter! Or all guys sayin alfa is alfa saying that in principal it is ok to take money for alfa and let people wait 2-3 years for fps performance upgrade? As fps itself is the basic part of game itself. Waiting for efects, clouds, other planes airfields ok but not fps... Fps should be urgent matter.

Alfa alfa... the existing beta 1.5.6 isnt running good as well!! Whats problem? Oh yes is beta... lets read betta is unfinished product. So basicly nothing is good and finished and nothing can be asked? Are you serious?:D You can call it whatever you want but developer should get things going on performance part! With shadows? With traffic? With battle situations? With clouds? I agree in certion situation- yes. But not all round thats quite obvious.

Thats not answer! Thats question! Nobody does but it does not mean you can ignore performance! Give us options tu turn down settings, or optimise the game. There should be vision in making it a better performer. Strangly devs asked for finding issues with 2.1 so they can look for the most obvious problems. All forum is filled with performance problems, but on devs priority list i dont see performance issues as some sort of priority!

If you have to overclock your pc (thats already outside all normal performance gains or hardware warranty things), take best performing CPU with highest clocks and still get non 90 fps in low settings scenario. You call that unoptimized!!! Rifts 2 projections in HD is quite low, call it what you want non of the existing DCS versions is able multi monitor setups or VR in decent FPS in non LOW setting config. Playing single monitor DCS is like playing sims with keyboard only. I have done it all tripple screens rift, multiple pc specs etc. So just don`t tell me that game runs great without real evidence or video.

As far as i know there is no system that does 90FPS in normal battle scenario not some free flight with one plane. Take some su-25T stoack campaign first mission and you will see much worse results. I have done many procesors AMD and nvidia cards etc Even my 5.1ghz 7700 is not giving you stable 90 fps in every scenario.

So basicly 1.5.6 is beta so not ready... Not designed for VR 2.1. alfa even further away... 2.5 maybe will come in the late 2017 or even later... then it will be gamma, beta, alfa etc for 3 more years.... What you wanna say that it is ok to develop such things as keeping performance cap below VR specified! (only top end gear on low settings can keep 90pfs all round in battle scenario) So devs should warn the buyer that he will not get noprmal VR performance for the 5years minimum. PRoblem is DCS has always performed poor. In every iteration 1.2, 1.5 and 2.0 it was never a super fluent, what warries me the most, nowhere near it is a priority. Performance of the game itself is nearly the main factor itself. What i want to see is some movement in performance optimizations, even on yearly basis. But year after year nothing becomes stutterless. Just some problems that makes things worse, than back to what was before! Ok 1.5 did make some improvement, but thats not perfect for sure. What i want to see is performance on the priority list with proven FPS etc. Mind you tripple screen owners arent getting the best performance as well. Remember it is 2017 you cannot develop things as long as yesterday!

I dont want to say it. But if someone asks i can only agree with stated above. Did we wait a lot yes... did we pay alot... yes. Every update smth little bit worse than back to what was before... thats in performance department. Old version is bad as stated.... alpha is alpha. So long story short... no performance upgrades on horizon. Mind you thats already in 2 year period. Make me sad. Why should one turn everythin to low and be granted non 90fps in 2017?

+1 but... what if there are problems for awacs to take off? Usually people are crazy on runways and that AWACS could stay on ground forever:/ If There is some other way then OK but if other AWAcs takes off the same runway no way:/

We need pics or graphs of both missile parameters or didn`t happen:) Phoenix against Flanker in realms of DCS i think no big deal for flanker.

Remember guys pheonix has distance but pretty much lacks everything else. I mean it should not be such a big deal. Pheonix is not AIM-120c with better distance. It is clumsy and overpowered in the state that is modeled now by ED. I hope heatblur makes more realistic option so it will not be a big problem for russian jets, just a slight inconvinience;)

Please add option to turn off mirrors! Fps already isn't the best so it would be great to have mirrors off.

Yep, it is VR that stutters as it nearly breaks in half your typical 2D FPS, but VR needs more than 2D FPS to run smooth, that is why VR users need better performance and are usually running top of the line hardware.

Cyes i understand that far... But when you are back on power and both generators are online, you still have frozen doppler, so what do you you do how you restart it mid air?

When generator fails some of the nav equipment fails for example doppler navigation, the range, slip etc freezes, what is the right order of such scenario managemnt?
