I was posting from my phone so sry if text isnt the most easy to read;) I would also like to add that those longer engagements with f-5 is soooo much fun, there is a lot more to succeful mission. Mainly fuel, cause that can save you, next is technic of flying itself preserving speed or loosing it where needed! Use aoa guage while rotating with f5 you have to look at aoa as much as f5. And then another think! Learn to use your straight beam lock mode! Map easy buttons to swap between radar modes! It is very useful even for r60, gives distance and frightens enemies. Even if you have for example r60 lock think twice! Will missle hit!? Is distance right? Maybe build speed and do yoyo? Maybe go low in trees! Do not make yourself a superman if you have lock it is not the mission! Mission is to hit the other guy! Ofcours gun is VERY effective! It is powerful, so any hit basicly takes out f-5 . Learn that thing and fire close! I get even kills with guns r3r and r60 infact! Thats because if r60 is used u have already gone in f-5s territory! Remember r60 is rear aspect but r60m all aspect so take those! I think already i told more than i should! But have to say i still mess things up and i am mad that i know i could win but did mistakes. Knowing what to do and doing are different things! And admire those situatins when guy knows his thing and i loose, but thats the beauty of it you always can win just have to learn! But main rule fly for not killing the other guy but fly more not to be killed! Mig has higher power speed you always have time to back off if done in time! But if you feel like rembo, you loose! Just keep practcing not to get killed by plane itself, fuel shortage, flameouts, stalls and only then f5's! If you land back even with 0 kills good job! And last dont fly further than u should if u reached bulls keep high with 85-90 percent power and keep circling, no need to ho what awcs says! Be smart assasin! Further u go less fuel and less chance getting back fast! But i really would like to swap knowladges on matter, so anybody want pair just gimme message, dont by shy! Mig is very versatile and true multirole, just needs knowladge skill and PATIENCE;)

If someone wants i can tech trick or two in Mig but only if you know stuff around the plane and the f-5 is your problem not mig itself. I learned my stuff very hard way by starting that mig again and again. In simple terms you only win if u use the more advantages aspects of mig. Speed, r3r and radar. It is good enough u just simply have to back off in time if smth in the attack equation iz wrong. Dont rush listen plan. Attack only one plane at a time. If there is a pair dont go there. If you have asimetrical load dont even bother. Fly high and only. Low flying only in retreat for getting home with fireing flares at 1350km/h. Fly high and tip upside down. Check radar for 2-3 seconds. Find target. Look fhere it goes check awacs. If it is straight on tace r3r manage distance it has to be right. Fire as late as possible! If he goes head on flare in case aim9 comes. If target is locked goes without bothering or not straight at u take r60m but keep radar on track guy, than when u see him good turn off let him think u lost lock and fire heatseeker. And the main thing! If u merge drop everithing y can, if fight comes to 400km/h take take off flaps and you can turn him if no speed lost and no red zones cached in aoa. Dont rush! No more than 4 missioes at a time! If you got one guy fast than u bave chances in some more but dont try to take 3-4. Use fuel wise, preserve, be ready to go home with all afterburner. Use brain tactics and strenght of plane. U only can win if u train. I like this stuff anyone wants to fly on same ish level i would like pairs give alot of tactical advantages. I would like to learn and tech be my guest;)

I have totally uninstalled Rift and did reinstall. For now seems better no crashes at all for now! (fingers crossed). If smth changes i will post it here!;)

So as DCS crashed again sending you log files in attachment. My system spec are as follows: i7 7700k @ 4.9 gtx 1070 Asrock formula oc z170 motherboard gskill 16gb ram @ 3400 one ssd for OS one for DCS and other stuff oculus rift CV1 warthog saitek pedals As i looked it log files there are access vfiolation for various reasons: effects, other things :/ Lalely half an our is maximum i can get then boom crash :( Please guys give me some advice, i did disconnect front usb ports but no luck with it:(

Lately I have a lot of crashes during dcs play, especially in mulitplayer. And for past few days thats over the top. I get ready for flying more than flying itself:/ As i understand it is RIFT related, it just freezes, than black screen, then DCS crashed, but everything is ok once you start game again. Just like sudden freeze that crashes DCS. Anyone has this or knows how to deal. Read quite a lot on the web about USB drivers etc, RMA oculus, HDMI cables etc. SIck of it. sometimes after crash oculus says hdmi cable unplugged, but i am quite sure it isn`t as this is second vidoe card, and i checked hdmi cable, even unplugged from rift and checked by moving in all directions, somethin is wrong, but don`t quite get it. Is DCS or oculus the BAD guy. I read that someone has problems with OCULUS when many controllers are connected, but I cannot get away from any: mouse, keyboard, 2 for oculus and 2 for warhog, one for pedals, thats bare minimum. Any sugesstions?

I would like if glass canopy would loose that glare we get in low sun in NTTR and Normandy as in VR we literally can see nothing when canopy changes colour! As seeing anything was always an achilles heel in DCS as a whole i would like to see anything in way not making any worse than it is, i highly doubt if raindrops help. Maybe as an option tab;)

Hi guys! I have problem with this mod! Cannot make it work! So as I see in INI file buttons are perfect for (warhog) stick buttons with break leaver as modifier right? I extracted those 4 files in certain directoy (not DCS one). Now before launching dcs i launch script, then in game i put on commm menu but then nothing...:( joystick buttons do nothing with menu? Have I missed smth? BTW I am using CV1 if it does matter!

I have noticed that too, tah even two AI helis will drop your fps when you hit then down fps steps up, as for propeller blades on planes same stuff i find that rotating texture thin or smth else hits fps - i quess cpu core hard, i thing devs should check this as wee need last bit of our single core use;)

While climbing i keep RPM 2700 and pressure 46 why my engine breaks while climbing? Any guesses guys?

Ponil, sechas netu voznoznosti zdelatj snimki, no polnij youtube s video oculusa rift, pozicija tolko v A-10c i A-10a strannaja, v drugih samoletah vse udobno i intuitivno, gde bashka pilota tam i golova, tolko v A10 pozicija slishkom v pered. Ja nadejusj pravilno ponil vapros. Defoltnaja pozicija tozhe ne 100% defoltnaja tak kak mozet kozatsa sto smotrish pramo a v destvitelnosti 4utj verh ili niz potomusto golova idealno ne no meste vse vremja. Pozicija L-39, Mig-21, Su-25 po mne pramo tam gde nado, sidish v kabine.

Sto immeno vi imejite v vidu ne ponimaju? Jestj vishe ukazanije LA i OR.

Dont bump up pixel density! PD 1.0 is the best for spotting targets. That has benn discuset several times.

Guys please help! I was runnind amd card and to be able to push things in multiplayer i pressed alt+enter for fullscreen. Now I got GTX1070 and as soon as i press alt+enter i get black screen in RIFT:( How to solve this thing?

I saw some guys are playing this campaign with russian audio not english? How can i change language of audio or even all campaign to russian?

Funny thing is read about russian experiments with F-5 (when they laid their hand on in) they tested alot that one with Mig-21, mig-21 pilots had approval to go beyond capabilities of Mig-21 to push as hard they can... but whatever they did F-5 was better in merge hands down. Slowly with every turn f-5 got more and more advantage. As i find the article i will post it here;)
