Hey guys. I made a track and went to upload it but it was 22mb. Then my next mission in the campaign the TGP diamond was visible, I'll try and get a track made. Thx though!

Hey Aginor. There's not much use posting a video. It just isn't there. I googled it and some others had the same issue. A few were claiming it only happened on the enemy within campaign but a campaign shouldn't do that.

its easy Yurgon. BTW guys I am not new to the A10. I used it since it first released. SO its easy to test. Slew the TGP to boresight. From the TGP DU you will see the seeker head pointed about 30 miles in front of you or thereabouts. Now just take your TAD display and put it on say 20. Now with the TGP SOI slew the seeker head down and watch the distance on the DU till it displays about 10. Look at your TAD display. You SHOULD see the TGP diamond about 10 miles ahead of you. In my case it just isn't there. Every 1 out of 4 missions it will be. Its kinda random but more so its NOT there than is there.

Hey guys I read some probs about this. No solutions though. My TGP diamond on the tad is missing. Seems to be there every third or fourth time I'm playing but usually isn't there. Makes a lot harder to use the TGP for acquiring targets.

Or have a dynamic server. More people join, more airfields open up. Keep a 10:1 ratio of pilots to airfields or something

Stuge, what I suggested would have to be implemented by the devs. It's simply could not be done by making a mission. Not sure you understand what I had in mind.

I have been playing DCS ever since the LOCK ON (or Lock Up back then), so a long time. I find servers just as boring now as I do then. I mean server are freaking boring. I can't spend more that 10 minutes in one. There is no rhyme or rhythm to them. Most of the time you join in and the "mission" is half way through and everything seems like a gong show. As well what do people really do? They take off, point the plane towards where the enemy is and they shoot a missile at each other and see who's missile hits. BORING!!! There needs to be more tactics to it. Like a single player campaign but with multiplayer. If you choose a squadron, you have a mission, keep to it! Nope people just do what they want. What there needs to be is tactics. Also risk. Something in the neighborhood like a point system. so lets say you have 10 planes on your team. Lets say 2 of them are A10s. If that A10 team sets out on their mission and successfully completes it that team gets 500 points. If you wander off your mission and just feel like doing whatever you get 0 points.But if you lose an A10, a replacement will cost you 300 points. Until you replace it, that pilot that got shot down will just have to sit and wait until he has a plane he can fly. Anyways, something along those lines. That way there is risk. You don't just take off like a twit and go shoot whatever you feel like. Otherwise you don't help the team out by acquiring points and you risk getting shot down and sitting out a while until your team can buy another plane for you to fly. This way DCS will have some strategy that is forced upon you and when there is a risk to getting shot down (sitting out a while) it makes you play the game smarter. Just like watching a sports game. Its always better to watch if you bet money. I am just ranting because I feel DCS is pretty stagnant because the lack of fun involved. I don't know if the devs ever thought about doing something like this but IMO it would enhance the multiplayer gameplay immensely. Its never any fun when there is no goal....or should I say a goal that takes organization and strategy. Any tool can jump in a plane and shoot at something.

This is exactly why I want to buy a 3d printer and scanner. Not cheap. Will cost me about 10K+ but I want to create parts for home cockpits, etc. Also I fix motorcycles and it would help me too. I should see how much interest in parts would be on this site and others to see if it would be viable.

Definitely for reduced engine wear. We use Derated combined with assumed thrust take off power settings. This can get as low as 25% N1 lower than a full rated thrust take off. The largest savings in wear and tear exist in the first 5%. That wear and tear is huge. GE owns our engines and we lease from them. We get credits for each reduced power take off we do.

This app does not appear to be available from my country (Canada). I already have it on my ipad but was checking to see if there were any updates. Any reason it isn't available on itunes?

If you can afford the TM then why not get a satek x65 and a track ir. might be about same price in the end. The x65 is MUCH better than x52

I thought this was weird too. We have the cfm56 engines on our plane. We can easily get the fans up to 100%. Wonder what makes these 34s do this.

Well i removed the base plate and if you take a boo inside you can clearly see tht the hrottle should in no way conflict with the apu switch. Its really impossible. So not sure what s going on there. Back she goes to TM.

Hey guys. Thx for the responses. So what I did was reassign the app switch on my TM to the fuel switch just above the apu (can't recall what it's called, I think it's the one that has the override). So now when I start the right engine the fuel switch gets moved which tells me it's a hardware issue. FRIG TM, I just got this thing and now I gotta send it back!

Thx for the reply. I tried testing it in windows and it all looks good. It shows button 29 and 30 as being the button when i bring the throttle levers into the start position and after about 20 tries I do not see the button 20 (which is the apu) lighting up one bit. any other suggestions? thz!

This doesn't always happen but quite regularly. Sometimes it happens with the left throttle and sometimes with the right. When I take a throttle out of the detent to start up an engine it move the APU switch to off and the APU shuts down. Is there anyway to find out whats going on? Or has any other TM owners had this? thx!

That is kind of a retarded response. That's like me writing to Toyota about a braking problem and them responding "our R&D department testing brakes on many of the Priuses and found that this is normal". Like what the .....! Just because it did it on many hotases doesn't mean normal is right. I can just see how well that would go in my industry. Letter to Boeing: "After the first month of receiving the 737 we noticed that the landing gear doesn't extend 100% of the time" Response from Boeing: "Our R&D department have tested this and noticed every aircraft that rolls of the factory line has this occurence. Therefore it must be normal. Please continue to fly our 737 and get back to us if the gear fails again"

There are so many options you can include with logistics. Personally, I like the As real as you can make it idea. Tanks destroyed? No repair is going to help. As well if you have to eject, then you can not rejoin until a jolly green picks you up and returns you to base. Might be a while before a jolly green can make it while being under fire. Might have to send CAS to help him. I know most ppl would be whining and saying "but I dont want to have to wait 20 minutes to play again". Well thats what realism is about. So dont get shot down! It would create a whole new dimension of stategy knowing you can't just rejoin at will. I think it would make a much better player out of you too. Not like those FPS games where you can just run in guns blazing knowing tht if you get killed you can just rejoin. No fun in the game if there is no goal/strategy. Its like sports. The game is so much better if you are betting on who is winning. Of course, to please the ppl that don't care for realism, make all this an OPTION.

Hey Pyro. Yes I take very good care of my belongings. It is as good as I claim for sure. I just have too much stuffand my wife is always on my case. Always asking why I have 2 drum sets, a bunch if paintball guns, not to mention my computers. Yes i have 4. So I thought i would give someone the chance to buy this since a lot of people don't have , or can't justify spending 400+ on a joystick. But in my mind this one was definitely worth the price.
