Raven Angel Elyseen said: (Give credit where credit is due: ED currently has the best visor at DCS with its MiG-29.) Correct, but I was only talking about the effect in relation to the setting. 2.2

Exactly, we absolutely need visors like the F15E or the M2000c because they provide nearly natural vision. Thanks in advance.

Question about recommended RAM for CW Germany
PLUTON replied to Ghostrider 147's topic in DCS: Cold War Germany
I have 32 GB too and I was wondering the same thing! -
Hello everyone. So, do I need to disable VMX (in the BIOS) or do I need to enable VMX? What's best?
-
OK, but how do we send a private message from here? (Try not to think I'm stupid, but my generation and computers aren't always compatible, hehe)

Hello again. I did as you explained. I downloaded (mbucchia/Quad-Views-Foveated:) then (TallyMouse/QuadViewsCompanion). When I open it, a window appears with settings and a turbo mode checked. However, when I install Quad-Views-Foveated, I can't open it because when I click on it, a window tells me it's installed. And I still have my problem of having the quad view box checked but grayed out, and I can't change this box in the dcs VR settings. But where I can turn the quad view on or off is at the very beginning of dcs startup, using the switch at the bottom of the page when launching dcs. So my question is, is the quad view mode on or off? How can I know?
-
Thanks for your reply, but I thought the quad view was an integral part of DCS. Where can I find these components? (I have a Meta Quest 3) How should I proceed? Thanks in advance and have a good flight.

So I did as you told me. I renamed the dcs folder. Then I copied the Imput folder, deleted the FXO and METASHADER 2 folders, and I restarted dcs. The result is that the slowdowns and stuttering have disappeared 99% in both 2D and VR. Thanks for the help you provided. I just have one more question! I check the quad view in the settings when I start dcs, but when I'm in the game, I go to Settings and then to VR. And the quad view box is checked, but it's grayed out. I can't intervene like before (with or without) from this page. I can just click (with or without) on the first page of settings at the start where you can see the video. Is this normal or is my installation messing up?

Hello, since the last update, I've been experiencing stuttering in 2D and VR (with 90 fps in 2D and between 50 and 60 fps in VR), but with slowdowns and stutters, as if the game's scrolling slowed down and suddenly caught up. In short, if I want to rename the saved game folders, how do I go about it? Can you tell me how exactly to do it? Thanks in advance for your help. Have a good flight, everyone. In addition, I have just reinstalled DCS properly.

Thanks Griffon, I'll do that and I'll get back to you to let you know how it works (well or not) but I'm guessing it'll be fine. As for my computer! Luckily it's working again because without DCS, I'm crying.

I've looked at the updates for the past month, and none of them mention the implementation of winter textures in Normandy 2. And if so, when will they be? TANK YOU

Hello, if I'm not mistaken, Normandie 2 still doesn't benefit from the winter period? Hasn't this been implemented yet? Thank you for your replies.
