  1. Hello all, anyone know if there is any solution for this problem: I am using 3 monitors (1 front + 2 sides) for DCS + Track IR, obviously I have adjusted the Track IR curves to not move that much since I am already viewing almost everything. The problem is when using F/A-18C head-mounted display (HMD or JHMCS) to mark targets on the ground for example, since Track IR does not move enough I cannot get the HMD to point on targets correctly. I am not sure if the explanation is clear hehe sorry! I am considering selling the screens and go VR because of this. Any help? Thanks
  2. Well I don't think you can activate support for crossfire somewhere in the game, LO:MAC is quite old and this technology wasn't released at this time. Maybe you should look more into the drivers software.
  3. Yeah, the bordersize feature is really nice, I can say it adds a better feel when in the pit, the shark windows almost fit exactly on all 3 monitors.
  4. List has been updated, thanks all! :)
  5. You could try setting: borderSize=0 sideExtraWidth=0 Change all the game configs to 3840x1024 aspect 3.75 and load the game once and see how it goes, if it works, try resetting: borderSize=250 sideExtraWidth=0 Change all the game configs back to 4340x1024 aspect 4.2382. I had a weird bug on lo:mac:fc where the size of the border i had set in softth.cfg wasn't working properly, I was seeing 280px of my windows desktop in lomac menu, to fix it i had to do the above. Hope this helps -fred
  6. I would try this: [modes] 1280x1024x60 auto
  7. Can I see your softth.cfg file?
  8. The mods without any download link are the one that I couldn't find, please share the links if you have them. :)
  9. Thanks, list has been updated. I will dig all the download links tonight.
  10. Thanks Frostie and Mustang, I have updated the list to add your recommendations.
  11. Found this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=46258
  12. Hello all, I am back in LO:MAC:FC-1.12b and I would like to install the latests / bests addons / tweaks available out there. I have tried searching for a list of must have addons but can't find anything other than the Sticky thread, which includes old addons. What are you using nowadays and what should I install ? 13. I have read that the PATH env variable must contains CUDA's installation directory, also it looks like someone had it working using the 32-bit dll. Still need to tweak and test a few things to officially declared it non-working on my comp. Same problem for me, at first I thought it was my graphics.cfg settings but after unloading TrackIR-5 software, it started to get better. There is a bug where you need to manually delete, I think, 3 TrackIR files inside LO:MAC directory to fix it, that must be done each time you start the game. Can't wait for 2.0 also, helos are cool but I like jets more :joystick: No problem, -fred
  14. hehe I really enjoy BS using this resolution and 3 monitors, trackir is a must also! I get decent FPS (capped at 40). Since this is a new system, I haven't been able to test a lot of games with SoftTH, I am now trying to make it work with LO:MAC:FC-1.12b. It works fine, but I don't get good bandwidth on the left (slave card) monitor, it has like a few MS lag, still working on it. Zoom and FOV are correctly configured though. Something I need to fix is CUDA support for SoftTH, this CUDA language looks promising and I would like to make it work on my Win7-64 system, which is currently complaining about missing cudart.dll file. I will check environment variables tonight to make sure cuda's directory is in there. -fred
  15. Yes, all 3 monitors are running at 1680x1050. I was also getting a crash when setting bordersize at first, the error I was making was that I was setting 5040x1050 in options.lua, you need to set 5040 + bordersize*2 x 1050, so 5320x1050 in options.lua and fred3.lua (monitor config). You also need to calculate the aspect of 5320x1050, not the aspect of 5040x1050. So aspect in fred3.lua and options.lua is 5.0666. I don't remember what was the default value for snap[9][13][viewAngle] but adjusting this value zoomed out the default cockpit view, so I have just played with it on trial and error. Hope this helps, -fred
  16. But this is the most awesome flight sim ever :joystick:
  17. Copy that. -fred
  18. Anyone else is having this small issue with indoor and outdoor sounds? It looks like the Pause game function is causing a problem with sounds of F1 and F2 views, at least on my system. When loading a campaign, before pressing the Pause key to start playing, I can hear the sound like if I was using the "F2" view. To fix it, I just need to hit F2, then go back to F1 view and I can now listen to "inside the cockpit with door closed" sounds. Same thing happens if, during a mission, I hit the Pause game key and then Unpause it, if the current view is inside the cockpit, I will hear the sound like if I am watching from the F2 view. Not sure if it is clear.. I only wanted to report this issue! I am running Windows 7 64-bits and dcs:bs-1.0.1c. I can provide dxdiag log if needed. Thanks! -fred
  19. On my old keyboard the Pause / break key is labeled "Attr", maybe you have this key somewhere?

  21. No problem, I will post everything when I get back from work tonight. -fred
  22. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=815569&postcount=295 it works!
  23. That worked, but again was only working on 2 monitors. I have my setup working well using SothTH: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=815569&postcount=295
  24. Simply to confirm that I have my setup working 100% using SoftTH under Windows 7 64-bits. One viewport; Center (5040 + (140x2)x1050), x=0, y=0, aspect=5.0666 The 140x2 pixel is the bordersize value of my monitors that is configured in SoftTH configuration file. I had to modify options.lua, view.lua, also snapview.lua. Also, I have read somewhere in this forum (can't find it back) that someone was having issues with this kind of setup (or with th2go) when doing the the tutorials in BS. The problem is that you can't see the cockpit buttons being pressed because the zoom is too close. To fix this, all you need to do is to modify snapview.lua to change the default vertical angle for the cockpit view, in this same file change the default "startup" zoom value and modify view.lua to give more "zoomout" to the ka50 entry, just pm me if you need further help. fred
  25. The quality of these screenshots is amazing. You must have quite a good rig Wags :)
