Can someone confirm SoftTH + 3 monitors + BS-1.0.1c + Win7-64bits works? Or I will waste my time trying to get it to work tonight when I get back from work ;)

Can we achieve better result with SoftTH ? 3 monitors, 1 viewport, Left Center Right all 1680x1050 under win7-64

This is something I could try when I get home. But if this means I must have my desktop icons / start menu / primary monitor on my left, this is not a viable solution for me.

Hello guys, I have just installed my new computer and I am trying to make my 3 monitors setup work with BS. I have tried searching the forums but most of what I can find is only for 2 monitors. Here is the spec: Windows 7 64-bits DCS:BS 1.0.1c 1 x Radeon HD 3870 PCI-e 1 x Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS 512 3 x Viewsonic 20" (1680x1050 on each of them) 1 x TrackIR 4 From what I have read, I understand I must run BS in Windowed mode, since Vista/7 has a limitation that block fullscreen. I have started to mess around with options.lua and 3monitors.lua (my own config) to make it work. I have manage to get something on the Center and Right monitors, but nothing for the Left one. Here is the content of the files: options.lua ... Do I need to work with SoftTH? My 3 monitors were working fine on XP SP3 32-bits.

It looks like having the game running in fullscreen DOES increase the FPS now. Attached are the screenshots for XP.

I will try it in a few minutes. I was running in a 1680x1050 window, which is basically fullscreen on my monitor. The reasons for this are because I need to manually set the affinity and I also have to restart Saitek DirectOutput service, alt-tabbing each time was getting annoying. -fred

I don't know but I have done the affinity trick, on DCS.exe and as I said there are no difference and it is sometimes even worse. This might be because I am not running FULLSCREEN ? I will try the game with fullscreen enabled on both OS and I will post the result. -fred

Test rig: 2.4ghz quadcore CPU 4GB 666mhz ram 500GB sata hdd EVGA 780i sli motherboard ASUS 8800 GTS 512mb video card Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS platinum pro TrackIR 4 Pro X52 Pro I have done some tests between those two operating systems to see if there are real improvements on the multiple cores aspect of windows vista and the answer is no, at least for me. It is even worse in vista 64, sometimes I lose roughly 10 fps in some areas. I didn't take any screenshots but I still have both systems installed if anyone have questions. Don't waste your time installing vista! -fred

yes, Master Arm is ON, the rockets are working.

After countless hours I still cannot use the cannon while in Sim mode. Even the space bar which is the default fire button for gun is not working. This is embarassing, am I missing something... cannon is working fine while in arcade mode. thanks in advance. -fred

Hey guys! I haven't visited the forums / websites for some months now and last night I noticed DCS:BS was released ! Needless to say that I almost peed in my pants.. Before buying it, which I will to today, I would like to know if it is possible to configure BS to take advantage of 2 video cards? I know that multi-monitors is supported but that means triplehead2go, which I am not using. I have three 20" monitors, 1680x1050 resolution each and two PCI-e 8800 geforce cards. Will I be able to use my three monitors to play this fabulous game / simulator ;) Thanks for the help -fred
