Not really have you ever heard of the " Ginea pig " effect.. DCS could be just testing the market to see if it is a value to pursue other aircraft and sell them individually like " ROF " does, which creates a greater revenue for them...you buy the aircraft as you require or like ...:thumbup: If the DCS-P51D goes over well enough I see the FW-109 or others coming soon..who knows maybe they have the second " Flying Legend " in wip mode right now..while they beta test the DCS-P51D Mustang...

Your right they do look simular..but the Delta Dart had a larger wing span..and came much later than the Avro Arrow... Once the Canadian Government cancelled the Avro Arrow program( was highly speculated that US Government force this closure..)...all the Avro Arrow engineers were hired by US Avionic Company...like Nasa and Boeing..and McDonald Douglas..thats why Canada's Avionic industry died..no Engineers here to stay and design aircraft...:music_whistling::(

For its time the Avro Arrow was the most advanced Interceptor until the government(Diefenbaker) scrapped it and all the avionic tech's were hired by US competitors...hmmmm..sounds fishy Eh!:music_whistling:

RoF...you can get the Demo and fly in Multi-player I do...for now..in time when my financial situation clears I will buy it..and other planes..I love the graphic's and flight simulation...dogfighting is a real joy for me...:thumbup:

Yea, I got the idea..I was just making a small point of that you could fire your missle miles away without even seeing them...whereas WWII pilots had to wait until visual contact is made..in order to go into combat mode....

Super Mario = AIM-120C-5 range > 105 km (65 miles) No real particular skill needed...radar assisted.. WWII fighter = Pilot tactical skills in Dogfighting Guns only period..no missles.. I would tend to say the WWII Pilot's were a bit better at tactic's ..because pilots had to get alot closer to the enemy in order to shoot them down..:music_whistling:
