  1. NVM For a 8700K and 1070 a 450 is more then enough i put a 1080 which even though thats fine. Trust me been building computers for the last 20 years
  2. There is no need for more the 450 watt. People over estimate i i just built a i7 8700K and 1080ti on 500 watt quality PSU Max power draw based on all the Specs is 330 watts at full usage which gaming does not I know more is better i actually dropped down to a 1070 ti you can use any 8th gen K cpu without OC and a single card setup with 450 watt if you go with a nvidia gpu.
  3. Well finally got my CPU and GPU getting ready for the 20(F)18 build. Build Listed Below Fractal Design Core 500 Intel i7 8700K Asus Z370-I Strix Corsair Vengeance 8GBx2 (Will upgrade down the road to 32 GB) Asus GTX 1070 Strix Samsung 960 Evo M.2 500GB for OS Corsair SF450 Currently i might do my games on a 12 TB HDD by seagate (Barracuda pro) This will help with storage and gaming The Core 500 is a tiny Mini ITX box which has a lot of cooling options. Anyone here not more there user files off there SSD? Also 450 watt is more then enough for a 1080 and 8700K without the OC
  4. With the prices so high and my 980 took a hit for the worst and out of warranty. Would i 1060 be a viable option for 1080P 60hz. Until either 20xx series comes out or prices drop somewhat
  5. Just started wiring the Switches/Buttons and Pot setup. Now my question is i am looking to have a Gear UP Red LED and Gear Down Green LED on the switch. I see they are wired to the 5V and need a resistor. Are there any LED that you could recommend that dont need a resistor that are built into the LED? Also how would you wire that? I see how to wire the toggle on led?

  20. Recently purchased the BU0836X with all the LED i need to use for my creation i have to look into using a PSU with a Terminal Block. Has anyone did this? Or have anyplace to help me do this? Are there ways or terminal blocks that can use a wall plug to power the terminal block?
  21. The 5-30% will also effect AMD because when they patch this it a patch across the board even if AMD is not effected. AMD might not be effected via the security problem but they will be effected with the performance hits when the patch comes out because the patch won't say oh this is for intel only. Also on OCN they have some test that show 8700K only seeing 5% hit. Also https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=x86-PTI-Initial-Gaming-Tests Did some tests even though its only on linux

  25. Hello Community, I currently have been looking into creating a Button Box setup for DCS. I have recently looked online and found that SVMapper would be the best for my setup but i have one concern. I have read online that there is a device limit of how many i can connect as a game device. Currently i have 4 things that i use for DCS World. Track IR 5 CH Products Fighterstick CH Products Pro Throttle CH Products Rudder Pedals Does this mean SVMapper will not work for me when i create my button boxes? I am sorry for all the post im on the Excited / worried side of creating proper buttons and toggles. I really dont want to get into the LUA files. But i heard SVMapper is go to have when using a On-Off toggle to create a action on toggle and action on toggle off.
