  1. Ouch, doesn't sound to good.
  2. Finally downed the AI in the Instant mission dogfight... Just had to share my happiness in beating him. Attacked a track if anyone is interested. Ends with a landing too. Wanted to make it into a video, but having a hard time doing it. And besides don't think i have the upload bandwith to complete an upload anyway. Edit: track is v1.2.0 Edit 2: Here is the video: P-51D Dogfight Instant Mission.trk
  3. +1 for me too. An option would be great. Such that each can read the time in their own preferred format.
  4. No, only BS2 is compatible with DCS World.
  5. Should be able to use all of the A-10C missions and related material, you just won't be able to use any of the other modules. Training missions seem to have a known bug though, with not hearing voice. But should work fine otherwise
  6. For DCS World you need: DCS World v1.2.0 and the ones that are compatible (And yes require seperate download, but the modules are not that big, and you only need to download what you own) are: DCS A-10C Warthog v1.2.0 DCS KA-50 Black Shark 2 v1.2.0 (Needs to be BS2. BS1 is not supported in world as far as i know). DCS P-51D Mustang v1.2.0 DCS Combined Arms v1.2.0 Oh and note thats V1.2.0 and not v1.1.2.0 This seems to confuse a few.
  7. I have the same sound bug with the canopy. Any movement of the canopy handle will override any other sound, then return to normal about 2 seconds after stop using the handle. Exactly as it is in this video posted earlier. Does not seem to happen in all missions, all the time. But so far without fail, always in the Instant Action mission "Cold Start Vaziani". Edit: Not without fail anymore, same config, last time started her up, rolled forward a bit. Then put parking brakes on (which i forgot), and tested the canopy. This time it sounded fine, no problem.
  8. Sadly missed it this time, was not well enough to fly this weekend. Looking forward for another chance in the future.
  9. I might be interested. Don't play it a lot, and never tried multiplayer in it. Might be fun.
  10. Done downloading, it was a lot faster using the direct links.
  11. It's a huge download, might take a while, downloading at average 540 Kb/s.
  12. Seems another guy is saying 1600 CES. Both seem to be developers. Either way, it's still soon.
  13. Expected at around 1600 GMT. quoted from their forum.

    Space books?

Loved "Packing for Mars" http://www.amazon.co.uk/Packing-Mars-Curious-Science-Space/dp/1851687807/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1317230802&sr=8-1 Not actual space travel, but a funny telling about how stuff works in space. A lot that we usually do not hear about.
  15. Same after update, it actually crashed straight away this time. Same as before, just when i click done/plus sign to input data. Second time, it worked fine. At least everything else works fine, which is propably what i use the most anyway.
  16. It's iPad 1, and i also thought it might be related memory. All apps were already shut down as i regularly do, and the 2nd time was a fresh boot of the iPad as well. But happy to announce that it worked the 3rd time i tried. I'll report back if it crashes again. Edit: Current iOS version 4.3.4. I think there is a 4.3.5 available. I'll check for that, and see what happens
  17. Looks real good. Although it did crash on me 2 times while creating a new mission datacard. (only tried 2 times so far). Both times after a while, and both while clicking done/plus sign to input data into a data field. Unfortunately this also erases all previously data i put in each time. The rest seems absolutely great though, and i especially love the reference pages and emergency checklists.
  18. I'll see if i can join as well. I have a birthday to go to as well, so we'll see.
  19. Happy to say that the components have arrived, and been installed successfully. Seems to run good and stable for now, and everything is so smooth at highest quality :) So far, i'm very content at leaving it at default speed. Maybe in the future if i need more for again.
  20. Just put my order through for the above mentioned components. I would like to thank you all for your very kind help and input.
  21. That was one of the sites i checked when searching for a place to buy. But does not ship to Faroe Islands sadly. It's kinda weird actually. Faroe Islands and Greenland are a part of the Danish kingdom, and yet most shops seem to not want to ship there. I can actually sometimes find a shop easier in UK or USA that will send over here, except from electronic stuff. So it took me a while to find, but Proshop was one :) If you ever do get over here, you should visit :)
  22. Think i will stick with I7 2600K, since it's within budget and that's the one I've been having my eyes on for a while. Was thinking about the 750w vs 850w at an earlier time, and came to the decision of not needing to overclock for the time being, and the fact the 850 was unavailable at the time. So i went with the 750w. But should be easy to upgrade that part at a later time. Thanks for that input. Yeah i think i read something about that, and made sure i included that in my search for RAM as well. The ones i have picked are 1.5v so that should work fine. I noticed a huge amount of improvement, by just upgrading the GPU from Gefore 8800 to GTX 580. And at the same time going to 64bit win7 helped a lot. So this should hopefully show a huge different as well. I'm actually ordering from Denmark, since it's nice and close and easy to ship to Faroe Islands from there. If interested the site is: www.proshop.dk (Only in Danish and Swedish though i think).
  23. Good tip, knew there was something i forgot to do..... It's been a while since i did this :) Did a check and G.Skill website has that mobo on it's Qualified Motherboards List. And although that exact ram is not mentioned on ASUS site, a similar model is. Also made a generic search for user experiences, and people do say it fits together.
  24. About to complete final upgrade step for my system, and i would love some feedback if possible. Choices i have settled on for now at least are: CPU: Intel Core i7 2600K Sandy Bridge Mobo: ASUS P8Z68-V PRO RAM: G.Skill 8GB DDR3 1600MHz (2x4) (F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL) Cooler: Zalman CNPS 9900MAX This will go together with my earlier purchases which are: GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 580 (1.5 GB) PSU: Corsair Professional Series Gold AX750 I'm a bit rusty in this area, but i believe these should be compatible. Any input from the tech savvy people here? Main concern is mobo and ram which i don't know to much about, but chose because people seem to think they are good. P.S. Have no plans of overclocking. But might look into it in the future at some point, maybe.
  25. Bit further left than i though.... think i landed on Ghandi. It was a fun test though, thanks for the link. Had a few of those cases as well.
