  1. This is a very good video, I enjoyed it, even though I already knew this stuff. Will be very useful for new players.
  2. This was sad news :( R.I.P.
  3. +1 Hope this will be corrected for final release....
  4. I just canceled it and ran it again. It boosted up to where it was, and started from there. So that would indicate a yes.
  5. Never use easy radio myself, so not quite sure how it works. But some suggestions. Have you turned on the radio equipment (VHF AM, UHF & VHF FM). This may still be required, even if frequency selection is automatic. Are you using the easy communications key "backslash" or your keyboards equivalent. Other than that someone else might have an insight.
  6. CTD while flying online. Most recent version of DCS World (All modules owned and installed). Already been flying uninterrupted for hours, using only A-10C, and seemed very stable. At the time of crash: Circling over target area (Min'Vody Airport). Watching a Column of 2-3 tanks moving towards the airport. At the time others were attempting to engage the column. Do not recall anything specific happening, at the very moment of crash. Server was 104th. Do not recall mission name. System: Win 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Intel Core I7 2600K 3.40 GHz, Nvidia EVGA GeForce GTX 580 (driver version 310.90) G.Skill 8GB DDR3 1600MHz (2x4Gb) CTDLogs.zip DxDiag64bit.txt
  7. 1. In the game itself (or the desktop DCS multiplayer shortcut). This will bring you to the dcs server browser. 2. Personally haven't experienced any. 3. Depends on the server. Adversarial, where two teams play agains each other to complete their objectives first. Cooperative, where you work together to finish whatever the objectives might be. Or some may even have pure PvP dogfights or something entirely different. 4. There are also some who run pure training missions, with free flight, formation trainig, weapon training etc. 5. Generally don't experience any lag myself. And generally spamming print screen in mission is a big no no. And also against server rules. 6. Wow it is fun. Especially if you get on the servers teamspeak and start listening/talking. Usually plenty of people online, especially on some of the popular password free servers.
  8. 1. Install LOMAC as a stand alone. I installed it in it's own folder, away from where dcs world was. 2. After you install LOMAC, (you don't need to start it), you can install FC3. Not sure if you can uninstall LOMAC afterwards, I would guess that you can. Someone else might want to clarify this bit. BTW. I used the old original LOMAC disc. Not sure if there is any difference when installing Gold edition.
  9. I believe for multiplayer, tracks are automatically saved in the user folder... Check here: "\Users\"username"\Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer\"
  10. Excellent photos, enjoyed seeing these :)
  11. Definitely going to try it out.

Missed it the first time around, since i couldn't afford it at the time. So i'm glad to see another run. Count me in for 1 set
  17. Congratulations on your purchase :) You could while waiting for it, go to http://www.thrustmaster.com . And in their support area download Manuals, drivers and software, then you can read about it and already have all the updated stuff ready when it arrives. As for pedals, I recommend reading all the reviews you can find. Check out peoples opinions. Those 3 mentioned earlier are all good in their own ways, and people tend to like them for different reasons. The best would be to actually try them out somewhere, but depending on what's around it might not be possible. Also keep in mind there are also more expensive pedals out there, that might be more precise and durable. But if I recall, the price jumps quite a bit.
  18. Probably would have bought the combat pedals if I didn't already have the others. They do look great. Might have a try at the mod soon, thanks for the advise.
  19. I have to agree to above. The Thrustmaster Warthog is by far the best controller out there (at least in this price range), both in quality and feel. It is expensive, but definitely worth every bit of it. These meet all your requirements. Precise and very durable. Throttle is very smooth and precise. Get a powered hub though, they are not expensive. Will give you more ports, and dedicated power for the USB ports. When it comes to rudder pedals, it's probably different from person to person. CH rudder pedals I hear a lot of good and some bad about these. But since i have never tried them out i can't say anything myself. Main reason i didn't go for these was the fact that these are narrower then the Saitek pedals, which would be to narrow for me. Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals. Bad thing first, it has an annoying center detent. This is not a problem to many people, and others can not live with it at all. For me it's not a big problem, but it is noticeable, especially when flying helicopters. Good thing is, it can be modded away: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=73311 Haven't tried it myself, mainly because i won't risk it until i could potentially afford a replacement, if the worst happened. These pedals i have had for a long time now, and still going strong. I am very happy with these. Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals. Have not tried these, but I hear that the tech and internal stuff is very similar to the previous pedals, including center detent. They look good though, but can't say much about them.
  20. Is your selector dial on the Intercom panel correctly set to VHF. It's on the left console, where all the radio volume dials and buttons are. The big rotary dial, should be set to VHF to talk via radio. While talking to ground crew, it should be set to Int. Sounds like it is set to INT. Also check your radio is turned on. And if using realistic radios, i think it is necessary to use the Mic switch on the throttle. (Not sure if "/" works on realistic).
  21. +1, that a great idea.
  22. Here a video of my last dogfight. Default Instant Mission Dogfight agains the AI. Raw and unedited dogfight, return to base and landing.
  23. Just went all the way and uploaded the video, it's in the 1st post. Raw footage of the fight, return to base and landing.
  24. Yup, experiencing this as well. Annoying when needing to join Teamspeak server during flight.
  25. On closer inspection, I seemed to have clipped his wing, with mine, (without me getting any damage). Which is what finally made him go down. Almost sad, since I seemed to do so well. Well a kill is a kill. Screenshots to make up for no video. This one shows, that i actually did hit him. Which is alway nice to see. http://images59.fotki.com/v683/photos/9/837509/10889362/Screen_120720_203308-vi.jpg These show the clipping of wing :) http://images12.fotki.com/v540/photos/9/837509/10889362/Screen_120720_203350-vi.jpg http://images46.fotki.com/v1445/photos/9/837509/10889362/Screen_120720_203357-vi.jpg http://images112.fotki.com/v681/photos/9/837509/10889362/Screen_120720_203410-vi.jpg
