  5. Great! Thanks for feedback! The zoom crash is always the running bug in LotAtc, it is a very very hard bug to find and fix, I hope to be able to get it one day... I know that is annoying one, be sure I do my best to fix it... But if there is no more ghost players, I am very happy :) I will let this version in testing some days again then I will release it as 1.0.1 stable. :thumbup:
  6. You could change it on server side in Saved Games/DCS/mods/LotAtc/userdb/airports.lua Use Notepad++ or any editor other than notepad to edit the file (make a backup before in case of). You will find "code" lines where you change the label.
  7. 1.0.1-rc4 is available for testing on LotAtc website for volunteer... I update all human slot mechanism, I hope it will fix the desync problem...
  8. As I said, LotAtc does not yet provided a "tower view" for ATC. LotAtc is more a CGI than a ATC software today. The first goal was the CGI work, it accomplishes it now this and increase the realism with radar simulation. It is used by lot of squadron now, I very proud of this. I will work now, more on the ATC part (glide slope is currently available and I am working for more in future release). An aircraft on the ground is not seen by radar especially when not moving, that is why you do not seen it. Once I will add this feature it will be better fro ATC job, I am right with you on this point. LotAtc server + client is a complex software and I am developing it alone on night and weekend :) Features are coming but it takes time... Moreover, the transition between DCS 1.2 and 1.5/2.0 was complex for me, and took me more time than I supposed... By the way, thanks for your comments, they are always welcome!
  9. If you have configured LotAtc in Arcade mode in DCS settings/special/LotAtc, yes, it is like the F10 map but it is not the right way to use LotAtc. Put it on Realistic/ Advanced Realistic mode, and it will be different than F10 map. In theses modes, LotAtc simulates all available radars on the game like AWACS, EWR, big SAM radar and only display units that is seen by theses radar (it takes care of the terrain of course) See here: https://www.lotatc.com/projects/lotatc/wiki/Detection_Profiles . By using a controller in your mission, it will add a new way of fighting, controller can give useful information to pilots. It is really a big addition to the DCS gameplay. So no, LotAtc is not a F10 view :) For taxi, you are right, they are not displayed in LotAtc (very complex thing) but it certainly will in future. By the way, LotAtc provides an approach view that allow help pilot to land within a good slope. See some screens here: https://www.lotatc.com/news/60 Yes it is mandatory to have LotAtc server on the DCS host server, it will not work on a client DCS to avoid cheating in PvP. There is nothing to launch, LotAtc server is totality integrated into DCS and be launched within DCS with no action from user. Note that it also work as single player for testing or learning.
  10. Great, the client disconnection is correct, LotAtc is completely restart, this is needed by the last DCS updates and the way LotAtc works. I do not think it is a big issue if all working after that ;) Let's me know for the human desynchro problem, I hope it will be fixed, but I have not be able to confirmed it. NOTE that it is not a STABLE version, but if you want to help testing it, just download it and give me feedback (please post on LotAtc forum and not here to avoid confusion).   12. Hi Dojo, That's it, I display altitude MSL with what DCS export to me. It should be possible to estimate the barometric altitude for each aircraft but I am not sure. I will think about that and search for formula to see if it is really possible with my current dataset. :smartass:
  13. The fixed version for that is currently in beta-test, seems good, I hope to release it in few days... I will ask for with Tacno, seems more a UR problem than LotAtc one. Are you in static or dynamic weather. From now, I cannot manage dynamic due to lack of DCS API for that. 1. Not yet, I have this in my todo list, but it is a very big task and I have not yet began this... 2. Same, once I get grab weather data from each airport, I will implement that but from now, no data from DCS for this (I ask for that a lot of times but no response...)   14. 1) Yes, if you plan to have external clients from internet client. for testing, it should not be necessary 2) No, you can use client for 10min by session. Then, just relaunch the DCS session and you have 10min again. 3) There is no visual feedback into DCS, LotAtc is fully integrated into the game. Just launch a mission (even SP works) and try to connect with: server: localhost (or try with 127.0.0.1 if it is not working) passsword: blue for blue coalition an red for... red :) It you have trouble: follow this checklist: https://www.lotatc.com/projects/lotatc/knowledgebase/articles/4 ;)

  19. Oh, nice one... There is trouble with human detection sometimes, it cause a desynchronisation between DCS and LotAtc. I fix it (I hope) in 1.0.1. 1. I hope so, it is a huge work, but it is on my roadmap. No ETA yet, it will be a lot more than 2 weeks for sure :) 2. Yes UniversRadio (UR) is made by a squad teammate Tacno and we work together for our squad needs on LotAtc and UR so they are compatible. The UR part into LotAtc was a first implementation but the development of UR and LotAtc is not always synchronised so Tacno has written the ATC Desk provided with UR to have more radio available for controllers (and more feature). LotAtc is always used to provide the controller position into DCS World. More interaction will be available for 1.1.X release of LotAtc (IFF for example) but at this time, you should prefer use ATC Desk to manipulate radio in UR (do not forget to activate radio into LotAtc to set your DCS location).
  20. I work on it, first pre-version tested fix some bugs but not yet this one. No ETA yet, real life takes me lot of time currently, but I will release a 1.0.1 once this bug will be fixed.

  22. Nope, there is no the LotAtc Loaded :) There is a problem of install, can be one or more: - dll and plugins dir in DCS/bin - mods/tech/LotAtc in the Saved Games\DCS\ dir
  23. Check your DCS 1.5 dcs.log, and check that the dll are correctly installed ( see https://www.lotatc.com/projects/lotatc/wiki/Server_Installation_guide ) You can send me the dcs.log if you want, I will check.
  24. I add a settings for that in config.lua in 1.0.0: ignore_radar_name (description in config.lua). If the name of a radar unit match this name (or a part of this name) it will not act as a radar in LotAtc. This feature is new, no more testing but should work, if not, let's me know. :)
