  1. Not for the rc5 (so manual IDENT), but after that yes, by using the UniversRadio IFF. It will simulate the real IDENT feature.

  4. This is a problem already reported, some guys have crashs with LotAtc server installed, others not... I am working on that, I hope to fix that ASAP. Sorry about that... I am currently implement a new profile with all flying units defined as Neutral (aka not red and not blue) and with name like TNxx. In client UI, you will be able able to assign coalition to each contact. It will be available in rc5 in few days. When I will finish implementing IFF with UniversRadio, LotAtc will auto-discover all units with IFF throught UR
  5. Adding a new profile and put everybody as unknown is quite easy to add now. Automatic IFF will take more time. I will add the new profile for RC5, and add IFF later.
  6. It was a difficult choice to make in the project. IRL it should be unknown, then help with radio and IFF, controller could affect names and side to contacts. By the way, I think that it forced to have radio and IFF that is not the case of all LotAtc users, it could discouraged lot of teams... With UniversRadio developed by Tacno from my team, we can have both (radio+IFF). Once fully integrated into LotAtc (IFF management), I think I will change that and make all contacts unknown and enemy by default. More realistic :) Perhaps, I will add a "ADVANCED REALISTIC" profile for that...

It is ok, I have just add a "-1" on the installer EXE, to have same name, but the internal name stay 1.0.0 so it it ok :) Depending of the profile you use: ARCADE/BASIC or REALISTIC and the coalition target vs your coalition. For example, in ARCADE you will see all names. In REALISTIC, if you are blue controller, you will see blue's target name but not the red's target ones. (or it is a bug, let's me know in this case :) ) I am currently implement IFF and will certainly changes that behaviour for REALISTIC mode in future.
  8. It seems that you have not the LotAtc-1.0.0-rc4-1 version of the server, I deliver this one just few hours after official release. It has a patch for chat error. By the way, I will analyse more the logs because it is not the reason of your problem. :) Thanks for this complete report!

  12. Yes you can activate de enable_debug flag in config.lua : https://www.lotatc.com/projects/lotatc/wiki/Server_Configuration#enable_debug Do not let it on true on "production" mission, it generates lots of logs and take some CPU/disks.
  13. Well, in fact, I was able to open quickly a public tracker... :doh: :D ( Eureka syndrome ) If you want to see it, just log on https://www.lotatc.com website. At this moment, there is no public issues, so it is void. I moved my internal issues to a restricted area. I will filter them and set public later. If you want to add issue, just ask me with your LotAtc account, I will give you the permission to add issue. Thanks for your help! :thumbup:
  14. In fact, I have a beta test team, but real life events and the LotAtc community growing has made the team less efficient. So, I will certainly open a public tracker on LotAtc website in near future. ;) For the pilot not shown, the 132nd team has get same problem, I will recheck my code to see what happen!

  16. Ok. All my works in last 2 months was the DCS 1.5/2.0 support. Now, I will concentrate my works in theses old bugs and new features!

  22. With DCS 1.5, integration of different modules has changed. Theses instructions are no more valid. I have not yet tested, but it should work out of box by installing the two mods in parallel (without editing). We have worked with ED to enhanced the mods compatibility. I have planned to test SlMod this week with LotAtc to verify that.

Thanks for reporting, the next rc4 has a total rewrite of the lua glue thanks to the new DCS API: With rc4, all units are now detected dynamically (and not read from mission file), it is a big changes but it should fix ( I hope ) some troubles with ghost contacts or scripted units. So, it could add some new bugs :) But it is better way !
