not sure man... but that weird motion you mention, that may be just the way the shark responds to pedal input. If your flying <over 50kph>on the realistic setting, and you have the yaw dampener switched on, you do not recieve a lot of motion on input; and the shark does seem to act out at first. That's bothersome that it doesn't recognize your HOTAS, I also had an issue where using my hotas would kill all keyboard commands [ i couldnt even press esc or pause, I had to cntl-alt-dlt, and then reinstall the game] hope you work it out!!

I cant wait to get a buttkicker, I use headphones so as not to disturb the missus and baby, and dont have a FFB stick, so i figure this will be the next best thing... maybe for christmas

did you try moving the axis that you want it to recognize?? I'm using an X52, but that worked for me!! You dont even have to click in the box, just move your rudder both directions, and it should pop into the box as, say; RZ

ugghhhhh, BS does not get along with my SST software, on my second re-install!! The in-game bindings dont allow to use my different modes on my X52, so I need to use Saitek's less than perfect program, and what a headache!! I know, i know, no tech help, just venting my frustrations....

@ leafer, to put it simply, when your wheels lift off the ground, you are immediately compensating pitch, bank and roll... Has anybody tried flying without the stabilizers turned on? It's hard, but I noticed a huge improvement in my flying by practicing this way for an hour- when I turned them back on, it was much easier to fly. Also, trim is your friend. To use it; get your bird flying in the direction/attitude that you want, press the trim button, and IMMEDIATELY center your cyclic AND your rudder pedals... When cancelling trim, be aware that if moving forward, you will have to quickly compensate with forward cyclic!! Not sure how technically correct those tips are, but thats what works for me!!

:D +1 I've recently installed LO:FC with terrain mods, HDR mod, skins, sound mods and a few others....[all top notch IMHO!!!] My FPS hovered around 20-30, peaking at ~100 when zoomed in, and stuttering down to 8-10 when over cities...graphics settings maxed! In BlackShark, I average 40FPS, and peak at ~70 while zoomed in, and havent tried flying over cities yet. (for obvious safety reasons) :D My system specs are: Intel Core2Duo-E8500@3.17ghz | Nvidia Nforce 750i FTW edition | 2x2GB Kingston Ram | Nvidia GTX260 Core216 Superclocked edition | Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

Yeah, thats right, default scenery on high! Anyway, I did some more experimenting with this mod and found its not only the bloom but also the shadow that works... I made an .ini file with bloom set to =0 [off] and shadow set high, [dont forget to set shadow to =1] and took a coupla screenies with and without the Skymod. [ATTACH]21095[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]21096[/ATTACH] These are taken with the Skymod [thanks Antonio!] and HDRmod uninstalled.... [ATTACH]21097[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]21098[/ATTACH] And these are the results of the HDR mod with bloom turned off, and shadows turned on. I turned the shadows up high to show the contrast, all the better to show it actually works!! I really hope this works in Black Shark!!
