  1. You must go through a webmoney exchanger...there are a couple of pages of info on this thread about page #'s 30-33. Unfortunately, somebody on this forum did this step for me, so I cant give you a step by step guide...
  2. I've noticed that I get much better FPS if I do not have the FULLSCREEN box checked... I'm not sure why, but the game is still in fullscreen; but if anyone is having low fps or stutters, check your options, and make sure fullscreen is unchecked...
  3. My mistake; They are still working on software and bugs [at a snail's pace] and there is one tech support admin over at their forum.... however, I've had my X52 for 1 year, and had one question answered out of like 10!!
  4. Hmmmm; Sounds like I need to learn a few things about video editing!!
  5. Saitek was bought up by MadCatz last year; there is no new support coming, there is probably no file convertor coming... On the upside, there will be more new sticks and keyboards, and also a cool looking aviator gaming headset on its way; support for current sticks and such has fallen to the wayside im afraid!!
  6. Hah, a very good question, and I would also like opinions; my opinion is that the microsoft one had horrible quality and no sound... of course i probably fudged up some settings somewhere!!
  7. ty, the lower key rate worked out an issue of me firing rockets
  8. I flew in FSX for 6 months, and with some very good advise from the Hovercontrol forums, (like setting your controls up very touchy; I move my stick maybe 2-3 cents for almost all flight time) I was able to come up with a good idea of how a helicopter flies, of course vortex ring and retreating blade stall were things I could not really test; or rotor clipping!! Doing this, I had a lot easier time with the Black shark than I would have otherwise, so dont discount FS because it is not as realistic...think of it as using training wheels... I also read the FAA Rotorcraft Manual, and found a copy of ChickenHawk, by Robert Mason, a true story of a Huey driver in Vietnam; he describes a lot of technical stuff that you might not encounter elsewhere.
  9. Whenever I engage it I wait until my forward velocity is under 50kph, but I keep on using my stick and hitting the Trim to center until my movement is negligible...not sure if this is the correct way to do it... Maybe try watching Wags' P.Notes; and maybe look at the SimHQ preview #2
  10. and i believe you have to raise the engine idle of your working engine to emergency power, [handles behind your left elbow, on the back wall] also, I'm pretty sure you have to engage a clutch on the engine that is broken, so that engine does not cause friction on the shaft just guessing here
  11. Sure, send me your R# by PM, you have 1 hour before i go to work!!
  12. HereHere!! A very similar thing happened to me, only it was a paypal transaction, not a voucher... Many thanks to MultiViper, if it wasnt for him I would not be flying *ahem* crashing the Ka50 in many different ways!!!
  13. That is normal... did you get an email from paypal, notifying you that payment was complete?
  14. meh, I think its a case of differing semantics. either way, the Ka50 can autorotate as easily as an apache or cobra: it is bi-product of an efficient rotor cone; it is a technique; it is a safety feature... and here is a good demonstration of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdcW8ht75ns
  15. I'm sorry Hitman, calling autorotation a 'feature' sounds funny to me. It's like saying that the lift generated from a wing is generated by this 'handy feature we installed in this here boeing!!' And to imply the cobras and apaches have it built in; well thats just silly...
  16. When you recieve money in Webmoney, it is automatically blocked; you have to unblock the transaction....there should be a chime or flashing icon at the bottom of the screen to notify you... cant help you with the svetlana thing, sorry
  17. I dont know, [other than james bond] but autorotation sure as hell has!!
  18. :megalol: Lol, autorotation is a safety feature!! Wiki says "Autorotation is the phenomenon which results in the rotation of and lift generation by a rotorcraft's primary rotor through purely aerodynamic forces, under certain conditions." You should fully read what you are quoting from... BTW, here is a good source of ACTUAL helicopter learning materiel: http://www.faa.gov/library/manuals/aircraft/ download the 'rotorcraft flying handbook' free!! Anyway, I thought this had turned into a thread about the uselessness of a cable cutter on a black shark?! :poster_offtopic:
  19. ...under the directory; sounds\samples\RadioMayak ...there is a readme file under the same name.... ...it explains how to create your own radio broadcaster in BlackShark, just now gonna check it out myself... Cheers!!
  20. Autorotation is a feature in helicopters now?? I thought it was the bi-product of losing all power... So do the Cobra's and Apache's have a 'Lose Power' button or something?? P.S. "safely crash your chopper" is an oxymoron...just pointing that out right now!!
  21. Turbines are a fussy thing, nothing like starting an R22!!
  22. or at the tail perhaps? ; p
  23. How [where] would Kamov place the cable cutters...? The mast must be 7 feet tall!!
  24. :helpsmilie: :megalol:
