to put it simply, when your wheels lift off the ground, you are immediately compensating pitch, bank and roll...
Has anybody tried flying without the stabilizers turned on? It's hard, but I noticed a huge improvement in my flying by practicing this way for an hour- when I turned them back on, it was much easier to fly.
Also, trim is your friend. To use it; get your bird flying in the direction/attitude that you want, press the trim button, and IMMEDIATELY center your cyclic AND your rudder pedals... When cancelling trim, be aware that if moving forward, you will have to quickly compensate with forward cyclic!!
Not sure how technically correct those tips are, but thats what works for me!!
