An old RAF Captain steps out of his Hawker Hunter, with the ground crew securing his aircraft, while 2 Vampire trainers in the background with new pilots just after take off. This is the last time the Capitan flew a fast Jet in the RAF. Soon after this picture was taken he started his conversion to Royal Navy Seaking helicopters at RNAS Culdrose. Yepp the Swedish Air Force was indeed a part of WWII. This first series of production aircraft first flew in 1944 and diden´t see any action against axis or allied planes. Though we had CR-42´s, Falco 2000 , Severeskys and Capronis that saw actions against the Germans. The Germans actually shot down 2 caproni recognisances planes out of the polish coast in 1940. The same year Swedish fighters shot down a HE-11 plane which made an emergency landing on the island of Gotland. Later the same year the Swedish traded the German aircraft to get their caproni crews back home which were shot down a few months earlier. We were under constant treat from the Germans until 1944 when the British actually said.... " If you let 1 more German soldier pass through your border and make his way to Norway, and if you send another train with iron ore to Germany. Then we will bomb Gothenburg "Swedens second largest city" ." We transported nearly 50 000 German troops and equipment on Swedish railways during the invasion of Norway, making them defenceless on all fronts. "im really sorry for my good neighbours". I have lots of other stories during WWII and the Swedish Air Force involvement. I also have some new ideas for artworks . This image is to resemble and Swedish Air Force J-21 shooting down an German Me-109 in 1945, "totally fictional but not too far from reality". Pitty im not at my old college. we had the full nose section of the viggen in our hangar! Är det möjligt att ta lite bilder istället lillen. jag tror det hjälper mycket.

sorry budd i wont rezise them, some of them are bigger then others and you might be able to use them. otherwise i usually do this when i use smaller backgrounds.... On desktop settings set the colour to black, then select the image you want and set as original size in the center. that looks good too.

I will let beczl answerer this question.

It handles like an Mig-21, custom flight dynamics using a special script. It´s amazing work.

Lol Well the Swedish flag is blue and yellow ;) ow and the Ukrainian. In the Swedish flag the Yellow stripes represent the sun and the blue the sky. So i think its brilliant sawa ! ;)

My choice would be an SK-37 Viggen for my date and probably an L39 Albatross for fun. Then when im off to nice dinners I will take my Hurricane .

amazing pilots and a very nice landing

Sorry for the big sized pics! so be aware on slow systems My Biggest picture to date. I made a very large panoramic picture using 9 1600 sized individual screenshots from Lock On. Then I got a huge image that only increased in detail the more you zoom in. I just wanted to test how hard it was to make a panoramic view from Lock On and it worked pretty well. The final edit doesn't look panoramic, but more like a picture taken with a wide angle lens to get the details in. But as I said the more you zoom in the more detail you get. So enough talk now.... This is an Polish Air Force Mig-29 after its overhaul some years ago. Lovely scheme and lovely aircraft.
