Thanks for the info! Ok so no way to bind to the joystick. Maybe an excuse to tell the wife I need rudder pedals :)

Hey guys I didn't put this in bugs as I am not sure if it is a problem on my end. I have started flying the mig and am setting up my controls I don't have rudder pedals and usually map it to my warthog stick. In the mig21 there is an option to map the rudder to joystick but when I do I just here clicking and the rudder pedals don't move. z and x keyboard binds still work. Rudder pedal binding in all my other modules works fine. Is this bind just for twist sticks? is there a way to bind the rudder to my joystick hat? I saw some other people have had this problem but couldn't find any way to resolve the issue. Any help would be appreciated. -Falcaw

Spoke too soon....still crashing on me =( Tried to lower the settings also as Hub suggested...no change. I know I am trying the same multiplayer server but it doesn't make any difference...and I can get the same errors in single player missions. Latest log file attached. Logs.zip

Just completely deleted my saved games folder and tried again....so far I got further than I usually did on the multiplayer server. It always crashed whenever I met enemy planes. This time I could dogfight. So fingers crossed this was it.... What a saga though =( I will keep you informed if it is still broken.

Hi Pikey, Open conflict is the multiplayer server mission. But I can reproduce it in single player also. Running the new mirage campaign etc I have crashes. I can go reproduce a log for a single player mission if you like also?

Sorry it was because I accidently uploaded this in the 2.0 thread. It wouldn't allow me to reload the log.zip file here. So I changed the name and asked the other thread to be closed. Thanks for having a look.

Really frustrating crashes. I have read similar reports from other users. I can play for around 5 or ten minutes when suddenly 'DCS stopped working' and the log file always reads with something like this EDCORE: # -------------- 20161230-215615 -------------- 00984.525 INFO EDCORE: 00984.526 INFO EDCORE: # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at A8D62FA3 00:00000000 00985.632 INFO EDCORE: Minidump created. 00985.633 INFO DCS: try to write track file Happens in both single and multiplayer. Tried so many things from what I've read on here. 1. reinstalled DCS clean. 2. DDU graphics driver and reinstalled clean. 3. Tried previous versions of Graphics drivers *several of them*. 4. tried previous versions of DCS *several of them*. 5. Tried 'make sure virtual memory i.e. paging file' was system managed. 6. Checked CPU and gpu temperatures. 7. Double checked no mods installed. 8. Checked my gtx 1070 was using Samsung memory and didn't need a bios update. 9. Tried several times the 'repair' DCS world. 10. Tried Run dcs world as administrator None of this worked. I am totally at a loss at what to try next. Logs from latest crash are attached. Any help would be appreciated. Computer Specs intel i7-6700 16gb ddr4 ram asus gtx 1070 founders Oculus cv1 Logss.zip

Not for me =( Just updated and still can't hear colt 1 in mission 6. Green radio and red radio on channel 1 on startup like normal.

Will this affect the radio communications of colt 1 too? I just started mission 6 and I don't hear his radio calls during startup. I reply with 'Hearing lima Charlie,.....1 out of 5....that's better' etc but I don't hear colt anymore. Played this mission before updating to the latest patch and it was all fine.

Hey Baltic Dragon. Wow I am loving this campaign so far. Up to mission 4. Had a little trouble on 2 as I couldn't work out the flares but that is my fault. The voice acting and tension building is really amazing. Not to mention the atmosphere for the AAR mission. Just beautiful. Really nice work.

Thanks that did the trick. I didn't realise I needed to update DCS as well. I thought just installing the Mirage module would be enough. All good now!

Just bought the module but I don't see the campaign? How do I get it?

Same for me, Any idea when this will be fixed? I would love to play the campaign. Bit of a shame we can't progress more than 2 minutes into it.

Hey PolyChop, I am fairly new to DCS but so far the SA342 is by far my favourite module. So much fun! I just have one problem. Not sure if it has been reported yet. Sometimes when starting a mission from cold start etc, I start with no tail and it is lying on the ground next to me.. Noticed it on training "improve your flying" but have had it happen on user created missions too. It appears to be a bit random. Not sure if it is a bug with the gazelle module or dcs world doing damage when placing units sometimes on load. It's not a major problem I just check to see if I have a tail before starting the aircraft, if not reload. Just thought you should know. DCS: 1.5.5

Thanks Windy, good to know it's not only my computer. Do you think it is useful if we create a list? So far I've tested for Oculus Rift In relative terms 1. Bf109 - 90FPS stable with only few exceptions 2. A10c - 75FPS Stable 45fps with asw. 3. mig21bis - 45 FPS but definite problems to maintain FPS. Dropping to 20 etc. Must lower settings quite a bit for this module. 4. Gazelle 30-45 FPS

Hey guys, I am new to the forum and just started with DCS. Absolutely love it and I am already addicted. VR is just amazing. I am having one problem though and just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same. When flying the a10c I have a very good frame rate. Usually 75+ running pixel density 2 etc. I can improve it to stable 90 by turning down most things but high settings are completely fine using ASW it maintains 45 almost always. Then I switch to my newly purchased mig21bis (A lovely plane by the way) and suddenly I am struggling with the frame rate. I didn't change any settings just the aircraft. Then it drops quite consistently below 45 and even down into the 20's with ASW. Back to the a10c and everything is fine again. I have a pretty decent system with i7 3.4 16gb ddr4 gtx 1070, It is still fine to play purely because of the immersion factor but just wondering if I can somehow get the same frame rate i get with the a10c in the mig. Anyone else having a similar experience? -Dave
