  1. Can confrim. Happened to me too. Direct rear hit. No Dmg
  2. Finally got a video of it. In the first video you can see the manpads missile explode on the ground 2 times. An invisible missile then goes up to the plane but misses. You can see the message of him getting hit from the first missile, that just explodes right as the video starts, in the upper right corner. Well post better video later.
  3. Singleplayer seems to work again. Multiplayer issue still persists. Ill try to get a trackfile from the servers. I will have to contact the server hosters for that though.
  4. Stinger and Igla Manpads fire invisible missiles at planes (no smoke effect or missile visible). The manpads shoot their missile into the ground in front of them (explode right at the ground in front of them) and an invisible missile flies towards the target. This makes indentifying incoming missiles impossible. Steps to reproduce: 1. Spawn in plane + manpad 2. Fly over it. 3. Get shot at and die without knowing what happened. This was observed in multiplayer. This issue was also around in 1.5. Manpads are a commonly used asset for mobile defense. It is really frustrating to die over and over again. There is no way to dodge the missile unless you stay outside of engagement range.

  6. Mortar units dont open fire: We placed 2 mortar units 3.1 nm away from an enemy farp having direct line of sight and even put a jtac next to them. After 10 minutes none of the mortars had fired. Jtac was spotting targets during the whole time. Manpads are nearly possible to evade: The missiles from manpads cant be seen and dont show any smoketrails when fired. Observing the Manpads showed: 1. The missile fired explodes directly in front of them on the ground 2. An invisible missile flies up to the enemy target. This makes evading manpads almost impossible as you can not see any launches from them. I know this issue cant be fixed by you guys but maybe we can get a workaround by replacing the manpads with units of similar range and type (maybe even replacing it with an avenger and adjusting the required crates to 2 like on the Nevada Blueflag).
  7. Server still has its problems. Massive delay in actions: Trying to return life or destroying units happens 2 minutes after the requested action.
  8. Server and Website are stuck. You currently cant connect to the server anymore (FIXED! Thanks for the quick response!) We´ve been flying Mig21s lately with great success. Is there a chance to not have restricted loadouts? Currently all radar missiles, rocket pods and groms are not availible. It would be nice to not have a restriciton on the Mig21s weapons (except for nukes of course ;D).

  10. Does anyone know about the uncovered terrain in the map? The north western and south western part has some nice terrain and with the addition of carrier planes like the Harrier and F18 it would be nice to have a modelled map all around the black sea (especially the north western part).
  11. Wait what? We already saw people flying it on Nevada. If they only release it for Kaukasus that would be dissapointing :cry:
  12. Same. I feel terribly uneffective in the SU25. It takes ages to clear farps or airfields. Yes the A10C problem persists. The MWS + GAU can outmatch everything. Allowing Mavs for A10A on blue and Viggen on red could be a viable addition.
  13. You cant make it match the capabilities. The RWR alone makes you invulnerable to any missile threat since they get spooked by 2 flares only. And then you add on top all that fancy electronical stuff you can mark targets (even without your targeting pod) with hud, last point of weapon attack and stuff. Plus it gets 4 pretty good A2A missiles + high manouverability. Have fun killing it with a Mig assuming the A10 pilot has a decent amount of skill. And then on the other hand you have the SU25 which is not really a charm when it comes to taking out ground targets. Maybe we could make it work if for example blue gets A10C and red Viggen. Both with limites acces to Mavs (high demand of supply routes). I gues it would work better with A10A vs Viggen though.
  14. It was surprisingly easy. 2 Bombers per airfield and its closed. All the 25s together maybe destroyed 10-15 ground targets together. Main work was just flying around capturing intel and calling bombers. I dont think its a big problem but if theres no blue to hold back bombers you can steamroll very fast. The only downside is: Flying attacker is pretty much useless. Bombers are the way to go.
  15. Yes red side can use the ML and the big L version. Both are laser guided. But pls keep in mind: You have a very limited range for the laser to be locked to the ground, you have to aim the laser with your eyes and hud. Its nothing more than a normal ffar with a bigger warhead and you actutally hit what you are aming for (still miss a lot). Overall the performance of the SU25 that i have seen was poorly for taking out targets (some exceptions in skilled pilots though). I dont think this needs to be changed. I would advise one change to the bombers though: Currently theres a huge bomber spam and i think its ok. The bombers are announcend and you can easily track the route. One big porblem occured when red captured Boulder. Blue bombers spawn 10miles away and in most cases theres no way to react to an incoming bomber. Maybe we could see a change there. Map needs reset. We just finnished it ;) Was a lot of fun!:thumbup:
  16. Yes, that would be a nice idea. They have the potential of taking out bombers and other attack planes. It would also bring some more modules into the round. Maybe we could get a T51 or other WW2 planes as recon/ aircraft, to give some more players the option to call bombers. Although i admit putting a T51 on both sides will make the IFF pretty hard and they dont really fit into the area of planes currently available. The implementation of the viggen could be a nice addition although it might throw the balance a bit off compared to the 25. Im not sure how those 2 planes compare with guided ammunitions but the maverick seems vastly superior compared to the guided weapons of the 25. All in all she would fit in nicely with maybe some tweaks to weapon loadouts and availability. Pls reset. Map blue ;)
  17. DCS could be so awesome if only you could wish for modules and they would suddenly appear ;D I like that idea. But if a Free to Play airplane gets an important role it should be available for both sides. Also 25T should be on both sides. You can argue about the A10C but in the current matchup of planes it should be placed on both sides. It is a very common module and in my opinion a way better ground attack aircraft than the 25T. In some cases even a better sead plane^^
  18. Seems ok. Apart from the fact that a good bunch of the modules dont exist yet and probably wont be released too soon. I think the recent matchup with A10 and 25T on both sides was a good compromise for everyone. Mirage on both sides was fine too (ok it was a bit annoying if you couldnt distinguish if enemy or friendly spike but in most cases you would figure that out very quick..... missile warning sound ;D). I understand there might be iff problems for the older planes but if you comunicate with your team (SR/TS) you will figure it out, different paintjobs should also solve the problem. TF51 is a free aircraft and everyone can fly it. L39 has to be purchased and from my expierience only a few people own it. If AI fligths will be disabled (hope so) it will put one side on a bit of an advantage since theres a bigger pool of people that could fulfill the role (and i want to fly TF-51 too but not on blue ;P) I would put Hawk/TF-51 Blue and L39C/TF-51 red.
  19. I think its ok to leave out the FC3 Fighters and use only clickable Cockpit planes but i think that it will be a bit annyoing since we only have one modern fighter yet. On top, theres probably a good bunch of BlueFlag players that dont own any of the listed fighter modules. From what i can see here Mirage, F5 and Mig21 all are seen on the same level regarding lives. This isnt the case and will only discourage to fly those older planes (would be fine if only Mig21 and F5 were allowed, but this would limit the people flying cap a lot since not everyone has those modules). I would like to see the Mig15 and F86 too.

  22. Would be awesome if that is the problem! Ill test it out immediately. Must have been the last update turning it on by default. I never touched that option....
  23. Make sure the Throttle and Hotas have a high enough power supply! I´ve heard those randoms ghost triggers appear when the hotas system is lacking power on the USB Ports
  24. FYI: I reinstalled the module and deleted my bindings in the savedgames/dcs folder. Nothing helped. Also not everyone seems to be influenced by this bug. Next step would be a complete reinstallation of DCS. But i rather would not do that unless im sure it would fix the issue. Regards
