  1. Although radars arent 100% reliable they should be able to track a lot more consistently than currently in the hornet. Hopefully it doesnt take too long down the early access timeline to get a hornet that can do BVR at something that isnt just flying straight.
  2. Another thing I found was that sometimes the TDC goes off screen to the bottm right . Luckily it doesnt break and you can move it back.
  3. I ripped at 8Gs somehow.... And how do you override the G-limiter ?
  4. Yeah thats what I'm thinking. You can use RWS which im asuming means Range While Scan , havent looked it up yet. But that just gets an area to scan and even if it gets a target it doesnt keep to it. Sometimes it tries to track two people at once as well. But sometimes it does follow through, ive put a video at the top as an edit.
  5. Not talking about TWS , you cant even lock one target properly. If you have a 3 ship in formation it will actually switch lock. It doesnt lock a single target properly but when you lock you select an area vertically to continuously scan , either the STT is really bad at this point or isnt implemented properly.
  6. Hornet is great so far , but for BVR it really isnt up for the task at the moment and really its kind of useless as you cant do any manuvering really when your trying to track someone. You can scan an area and never one target properly so far so my question is how long till we can get a properly functioning radar after EA release ? EDIT: Here is the radar in action: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8lbai6o79d5pfjc/2018-05-31_14-47-01.mp4?dl=0
  7. Wut , I'm not having many issues with the 77. Been using it for a long time on the 77. It does have higher drag due to the fins its got at the back so its gonna bleed speed quicker. Not sure how much more speed it would bleed IRL compared to DCS. At close range its the most deadly radar missile due to how well it can manuver. Tracking wise dont expect it to be a 120. Not sure what you are doing wrong but I havent seen many problems with it apart from every missile needs to be redone and everyone knows that already. I've got a 20nm kill at high alt and speed and the target slightly manuver (his fault ).
  8. Still funny how they added it while being obvious the M2C we have didnt have it. Plus not like every server has it enabled or anything...
  9. Haha was waiting for someone to mention that. If this gets removed for realism as it dosent have it IRL (If it doesnt have DL built in). Then I want that to be removed as well from the mirage.
  10. Thats a good point. Is it a case of the aircraft missing datalink or the Air forces missing infrastructure to support datalink. Also by any chance you still have a link or a copy of the SK manual?
  11. You can look at the two current buyable maps. The playerbase on those V the default map is a lot lower, so his point is to convice him how this is going to be worth when the main servers will be running Caucasus still anyway.
  12. Nevada is meh in my opinion so I never bought it , normady was pretty cool especially as its set in ww2 however due to it being 2.1 not as many people flew on it. Now even on 2.5 more people flying ww2 on Caucasus so yeah. Probs will get this at somepoint but again I dont think any of the maps are worth more than 25 max 30 dollars . For sure not worth 50...
  13. The 77 has less range than the 120B however I would take the 77 over the 120B as the closer you get the better then 77 becomes compared to the 120B. The 77 turns really well for its size due to the grated fins. It does have more drag in turns due to those fins but its what makes it manuver well.
  14. 144hz :pilotfly:
  15. TAW_DarksydeRob - Can fly both F86 and MiG 15 depending if there is any balance issues
