Was wondering, if that war on terror (WoT) hadn't started, how likely would we have seen the Charlie warthog? For the A-stan/Iraq encounters the it's pretty much perfect, but not so much on a modern battlefield. Also seen multiple text talking about retirement of the A-10A (Before C), amongst that, the F-35 should replace it. What's your thoughts?

AFAIK it's something like going from 130-140 dB to 110-120 dB.

So, rather than spending the big money on a HOTAS (ok, it's "only" a x52), i was thinking on getting a cheap joystick, and save money for a new PC at some point. I was just wondering what people would recommend of cheap joysticks, that hopefully last long... :joystick: Actually, never mind. If i really want a new computer, i'm better of saving that money.

Look here, eh -> A-10 hotas and DCS A-10C interview/preview FFS, can't find it, but read somewhere that if you plug in the HOTAS with DCS:A-10, it will automatically load a profile that is true to the real A-10 regarding control setup and axes :)

I don't want to give to much of "try this! and this! ... and this!", but have you've ever cleaned up your registry? When uninstalling programs, they sometimes leaves old entries back, which they computer then uses resources on. Try something called CCleaner. http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/ It will both clean your Internet cache and history, and can clean the registry.
