  1. Skin will install into ..\Lock On\Bazar\TempTextures as is.

    To install using Modman and DDS Converter. Add -2048x2048 to file names. For example "SU-27-SKIN-L-05-2048x2048.bmp"

  3. 169th Bullseye Software! Made By: 169th_Fox

    Get the bullseye system latest version:HERE !

    This is what you need to make it work for YOU

    1. necessary equipment :

    2 monitors OR 2 PC's OR run lockon in a window OR as me get a miniature LCD Screen

    2. Download the archive file from the FTP

    unpack wherever you wish....

    Go to lockon dir in Config/Export and back up you'r Export.lua file

    drop the export.lua file from the archive into config/export folder

    3. IF you are using a 2nd PC edit the export.lua file and enter the IP adress

    of your 2nd PC where it say's "localhost" run the app. on the 2nd PC.

    it will pick up and start showing Bullseye info once you enter the cockpit..

    4. If you use one single PC with or without LCD or a 2nd monitor

    just start the app. and leave it running

    For a LCD config. you must select correct num of lines & columns in LCD

    plus the correct com port & Baud rate, before it will allow you to check

    the send to LCD option. Mind you there is NO check for an LCD present

    so it will send to whatever com port is selected wheter it's got a LCD connected

    or not.

    Please note: for this software to work. The server needs to disable line [10] in the config.lua files. Thus allowing export data to be utilised.

    Example:

    serverFiles = {

    [1] = "./Bazar/Names.lua";

    [2] = "./Bazar/Racks.lua";

    [3] = "./Bazar/Types.lua";

    [4] = "./Config/Weapons/Guns.lua";

    [5] = "./Config/Weapons/DrawInfo.lua";

    [6] = "./Config/Weapons/Bombs.lua";

    [7] = "./Config/Planes/Pylons.lua";

    [8] = "./Config/Planes/Damage.lua";

    [9] = "./Config/Planes/AIControl.lua";

    [10] = "rem./Config/Export/Export.lua";

    [11] = "./Config/View/Server.lua";

    [12] = "./Config/View/Labels.lua";

    [13] = "./Config/World/World.lua";

  4. My notes on how the same launchers can be effectively setup..

    Patriot Site

    Default firing range 64km

    Unit 1: Patriot STR (Centrepiece)

    Unit 2: PAtriot CP (Hide)

    Unit 2,3,4,5,6,7: Patriot LN (Anywhere in dtection area, even just outside, Short range launch 100km from cp to just outside threat zone

    Unit 8:M818

    Unit 2:M818

    Unit 2:M818

    Hawk

    Unit 1: Hawk SR (Hide)

    Unit 2: Hawk TR Centerpiece

    Unit 3,4,5: Hawk LN. Moving Hawk LN's to the outer rim means they fire at closer range 8 km

    30km from TR means they will still fire at normal range

    Unit 6,7,8: M818

    Default range 40km

    S-300

    Unit 1: S-300PS 40B6MD sr: Hide

    Unit 2: S-300PS 64H6E sr: Hide

    Unit 3: S-300PS 40B6M tr: Centrepiece

    Unit 4,6,8,10: S-300PS 5P85C ln: Optimal 75 km from Centrepiece

    Unit 5,7,9,11: S-300PS 5P85D ln: Pair With C's

    Buk

    Unit 1. Buk SR (Centrepiece) Can be placed anywhere on map is not affected by Terrain.

    Unit 2,3,4,5. Buk LN

    Unit 6,7. Ural-375 PBU

    Default 30km launch

    Placing a single Buk LN at any distance km from Buk Sr it will fire 28 to 30km from target.

    Kub

    Default Setup fires at 35km

    shorter effective range than Buk

    swap kubs for buks

  5. The Flag wasnt too hard. The hardest part was matching the inside stripe from the tail to the top of the fuselage at the rear. It does some funny stretching of the skin there. Anyway I went over it again and made some minor improvements to detail. Looks quite nice now. If you downloaded it earlier, you'll need to download it again.

  6. Theres a few things here that need to be pointed out.

    Firstly. If you are shot down by someone spamming missiles. It's your own fault for putting yourself in that position in the first place.

    Secondly once you get good at this sim you soon realise that missile spamming or mad-dogging is not nearly as effective as a 1 or maybe 2 well timed, positioned locked shots.

    Thirdly. Anyone who tells you that they won't spam a maddog AIM-120 or R77 at the guy who shot them if they get the chance before ejecting is a downright liar.

    One final note. We've already been informed that the gimbal limits in 1.11 have been drastically reduced and therefor more realistic. So maddogging / spamming will probably become next to useless.
