I agree with most of your points, especially the damage model. The map, wouldn't care really.. as long as the scenery feels authentic. South/west of Germany or maybe even Berlin would be cool though.

This is correct, trackIR tries to calculate the players camera standpoint in the game.

Pretty much all of them, American planes a tad less then German ones. But Brits, Russian and Germans are on par for me. If I really had to choose, TA 152! It's long wings make it seem so majestic, something of a whole new level. If ED decides to model one of those in one day, I'd never fly anything else! Reading a book about Bodenplatte by John Manrho, almost every group lost atleast one or two pilots on landing or take off. Pictures of some pilots really show how young some of them where.

Started on Black 12 today, it looks a little less complex than those JG27 birds + that RLM 77 is hard to resist. Cant find any photos of her though..

This also happens with the exhaust covers, they fade to white/grey for me above 20/30 meters and back to textured when zoomed in.
