1. To make understand jojo and Zeus that my purpose is not do some fashion fantasy, but to correct textures and alignment that have some problems in the vanilla version... However, i'm ok, the yellow version helps for readability and is pretty cool... maybe later. If you use the old mod version, the payload display screen will be incorrect... it will not show you what was added in the last patch.
2. Yes, easy: alt = (int)( (float)alt * 0.1f ) * 10; Ok, it's a joke... this kind of thing is hardcoded, can't be modified in LUA...
3. I think only the "Mods" folder was updated... the "CoreMods" folder modification was not "uploaded"... And all external sound are in the "CoreMods" folder. Maybe synchronization problem between Razbam & ED....
4. Updated to fit the last module patch (07/22)
5. Mod updated to fit last patch of 07/22
6. I think here you have to talk to ED... the AB flame of the M2k is the standard DCS AB flame... it is pretty cool, but yes, some blue is missing in this flame...
7. Yep, all remain the same as before...
8. Sure, but you don't know at what stage of AB this rafale is when the photo was taken... What do you think of this ? http://www.crazyhorseap.be/Airshows/2013/Sanicole%20Sunset%202013/011.jpg Not only the " layers of particules " (incandescent gaz), but after some time, the entire AB channel's metal emit light due to extreme heat : https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/60/J58_AfterburnerT.jpeg/754px-J58_AfterburnerT.jpeg As you can see with this EF photo, this is exacly what happen : http://img.youtube.com/vi/J1fA_wVY4KA/hqdefault.jpg
9. And here a picture of mirage 2000 you can't see inside of the engine, and another here ... AB density depend on athmospheric conditions + ambiant lighting... there is no "true AB color/density/luminosity", there is some average or common colors according common conditions. So, creating AB in a game is more a question about "what appear cool" or not... And if your are not conviced, there are videos in daylight: https://youtu.be/NS-O6_gH-XA?t=1m42s
10. a good shader with some smartly used polygons is all you need... but that need some work for a good result...
11. Rendering engine changed with 1.5.4 if i remember... i guess the old shader no longer work properly.
12. One will say "this is not realistic"... ( therefore it's right, particularly since 2007... "France is now occuped by NATO, be back after € crash and civil war, please leave a message after the BEEP..." )
13. I agree, it's not an emergency but some improvement can be done here...
14. Don't know... but, since this sound is continuous and not an alarm, i guess the sound is not supposed to annoy the pilot by covering all other sound (like RWR for example) but only inform him about seek-lock status... This is why i made it relatively quiet. Anyway, the sound can be amplified... if it is really a problem... ( tool used to create / modify / save as OGG : https://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity/ )
15. It's AOA exceed warning. The sound is here, and should work...
16. Not so different, for example the AOA warning is the good one, but the default sound have a very poor quality, probably recorded from a video, so it seem to be more complex that it is in reality. In fact, it's just a pure "BEEP BEEP BEEP"...
17. There is already a link, look closely :)
18. Default M-2000C module sound have some problem: - Some have a poor quality. - Some are too short, and produce some artifact with loop process. - Some are not correct it seem. Fortunately, the mirage 2000C sound system is a Nintendo Game boy, easy to recreate... so i remade sounds from scratch accoding existing sound (that probably were taken from video or audio record, not good quality) , and some guess. - AOA warning remade, guessed using video and existing sound (better quality) - Red Alaram remade (already pretty good, but remade it... simple 200hz square tone) - Gear Warning remade, according existing sound, i have no other source (better quality) - Amber Alaram remade, guessed using the video (maybe wrong, but seem ok) - Magic2 Seek remade (better quality, no more loop artifact) - Magic2 Lock remade (better quality, no more loop artifact) - RWR sound remade (better quality, Here, it's purely guessed from existing sounds ) The whole sound system is now a Game Boy, like the real Mirage 2000... The only thing, is that i don't know if all sounds really correspond to what i guessed. If the amber alarm is wrong, please tell me. M-2000C - Sound CP Fix.rar
19. No more default key binding for that... the new commands are: - Special Mode Fwd (toggle between Bore and Vscan) - Special Mode Aft (toggle between Hscan & 530 search mode) - Unlock (act as Exit special mode) I guess this is normal... i find it a bit too long too, but maybe it's real.
20. Good job... Note: Pour rendre le fichier compatible JSGME t'as juste à inclure le fichier dans les dossier \CoreMods\aircraft\M-2000C\Textures\M-2000C\ et ziper le tout. C'est plus pratique.
21. Still need to be adjusted with hardcoded algo... 1.22 fix in the air, vscan and hscan icon fix. I will stop here for now.
22. You surely right, design date does matter. Anyway, while the 2000D and 2000N had GPS (as jojo said in another topic), the 2000C never had. I think it's because the 2000C mission was not precision bombing or long journey (ground coordinates is not what matters in AA interception)... but maybe it's because 2000C was quickly replaced with 2000-5 in the 90's, so no need to update the 2000C. thus, i don't know, i only guess... jojo or another will probably answer better than me this crucial question.
23. refuel and rearm, maybe in some specific context... but not repairs... and engine stop is needed as you said... I still think this hot ream/refuel/repais is more gameplay purpose for MP...
24. We obviously can't compare A-10 and 2000C... A-10 is a ground attack aircraft, and this is probably why its INS is corrected with GPS system. Main purpose of 2000C is A-A interception and i don't think the context of a 2000C is to do any hot turnaround like A-10, even in war context. Anyway, you well understand that the DCS scenario where you land, rearm, refuel, repairs, then go again is pure fictionnal and only a gameplay feature. It is nonsense to dealing with realism in this context... the correct answer here, is to create the mission with the "INS does not require alignment" option... but i don't know how this option can be configured for online mission. For a good design, this option should appear in the mission editor in "Mission Opion" panel... EDIT: I see an option in mission editor "Enforce INS Alignment and drift", in aircraft options, maybe this is what you need...
25. Added v1.2 fix, with some small changes and a longer DLZ
