  1. Good details. So bad they forget to mount the canon (probably the thing unproperly staying on the ground on your picture...) ! :D So, I think this should look like this :
  2. The pilot will be a other challenge. I prepare a little surprise... ;) So, for this night, the crew finished to mount the kanon (yes, with a "k", that's a mauser... ;) )
  3. Thanks, but it is NOT my first 3D model... ;)
  4. Not at all !:music_whistling: That's my first model plane, I think it will come later, so much things to do before...
  5. Sure, he must... ;) By the way, nice pictures indeed, very useful ! Here is a view from inside the fuselage, showing cockpit and UC internals.
  6. Nice ! :) It should help me ! Then, the UC is almost finished. It's time to work on cockpit ! ;) And I added some smoothing for better rendering :
  7. Arf ! You're condamned to re-read the thread since the beginning ! :D No kidding, I used NURBS surfaces to model the fuselage shape, exactly as explained here : http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Manual/Surfaces_Skinning Once shape is built, the NURBS are transformed into mesh, then other surfaces like wings built by extrusion. UC and wheels built from cylinders. Other details from simple meshes (cube, cones, etc...) A little render for the day :
  8. Began to work on forward gear :
  9. Non ! Même si je suis preneur de toute doc, je ne peux de toute façon réaliser un cockpit fonctionnel, donc pas la peine de se prendre la tête avec trop de détails... @Cougar12dk : here are some wires : We'll see later for renders/animations, when I'll consider the model as finished. @Zulu : I project to release a PSD template including swedish, hungarian, czech and south african schemes. Norwegian and danish could be included too, cause they perfectly fit with "stock" nations... ;) @rogue_blade : I don't really understand your question... @all : many thanks for your encouragements ! :)
  10. It begins to look like a plane... ;)
  11. Many thanks for the links. Some documents are well known, others will be very useful ! Next update : I tried this little animation to check the UC fit well into the bay.
  12. Thanks ! I especially looking for pictures from cockpit. Otherwise, I've got all the documentation I need, even the official Goodyear notice with dimensions of wheels ! ;) This permited to confirm everyone should not trust the plans... Then, the UC is taking place.
  13. You're right OldCrow ! So, I'm adding some extra-faces on fuselage to reduce some "edge effect". The smoothing job will come later... when I'll transfer the model from Blender to Max !:D @Rogue_Blade : read this : http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Manual/Surfaces_Skinning This works with Max too... but I don't already tried ! So, I begin to work on nozzle, and made then this little animation. Then, it's time de begin building main undercarriage...
  14. Thanks for your help ! I think a translation would useful for the "readme" to come... later ! So, I'm not so fast... I wait the project to be enough advanced to begin this thread...:D
  15. Working now on airbrakes :
  16. My first choice go to F-15, cause armament and engine have american origins...
  17. Flaps and ailerons on the way. ;)
  18. C model ! ;) Don't forget I can easily modify shape and increase number of faces...
  19. I don't know if there will be enough polys ! :D It should be kept under 15.000 faces. An over view with both wings and rudder. Wingtips pylons had been re-designed too.
  20. Thank you ! ;) I continue : the aft fuselage has been transformed into mesh, then wings built by extrusion... ... and rudder : (I'm looking for a genuine giant Pick Szalami... ;) ) (to be continued)
  21. Since many times, I often complain some simmers about the absence of this nice little fighter. So, tired of waiting, I decided to begin the modelisation of this plane ! After some unsuccesful tries in mesh editing, I decided to use NURBS surfaces to model general shapes. And it works nicely : The great advantage of NURBS is you can finely built shapes and adjust number of faces with one parameter (useful when creating LoDs...). (to be continued)
  22. Thx ! ;) Yes, but this mod was dedicated to RNAF, with some extra planes for Netherlands, and not to solo display only. Furthermore, I found the Solo Display skin not really accurate, so I decided to create my own from PallMall's template... ;)
  23. Hello, I'm actually working on a mod including solo display aircrafts seen from different airshows in Europe. The first step will include F-16 from Netherlands and Belgium Air Forces with their own special schemes : Next will include french Mirage 2000 & hungarian Mig-29. Alphajet and Rafale should be included later. No weapons, just a lot of smokes, for all virtual tators ! :) First release actually under last tests. It will coming soon.
  24. Some are working on it, but unable to give any release date...
