  1. Danke, YMadDog! Das war es, glaube ich... Grüsse aus Köln!
  3. Good to see progress in the software. When does production resume again? You know, sitting on the fence watching your discussion is not the same ;) Gesendet von meinem SM-G960F mit Tapatalk
  4. Miles, there is only a mere 50 orders left... Why not clean up thereafter? Gesendet von meinem SM-G960F mit Tapatalk
  5. Thanks, Twwhitey, that one I also found.. I did not try since in the system requirements it states 'Windows2000, WindowsXP'... I thought that there might be changed a hell of a lot since... But I might give it a try if it worked for you... Gesendet von meinem SM-G960F mit Tapatalk
  6. Saving speech training data We all spent hours training the voice recognition for VAICOM. Precious time. This effort should not be useless once we reinstall windows, methinks. How do you guys make sure you don't lose the work? I didn't find a ready-to-use app making sure my training data survive. Obviously, the data reside in %appdata%\Local\Microsoft\Speech, whereas the registry-keys are in Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Speech Is it sufficient to just save those and copy/paste it into the newly installed windows?
  7. Hi Pinello, I run it on a 1080 and am quite content. I used 100% the setup described here: https://vr4dcs.com/2019/09/10/reverb-settings-for-dcs/ My fps are always sufficient (in the range of 35-45). I decided not to upgrade my harware because of the performance measured and experienced. Now only the performance of the player has to be improved ;) Regards, flankerrider
  8. Excuse, if that has been asked already. Since reinstall, I have a weird issue with my Reverb: In DCS, it does not track longitudinal movements: When I move my head towards the instrument panel, it moves away at the same rate (i.e. it remains in the same distance). I use 100% the setup as described in https://vr4dcs.com/2019/09/10/reverb-settings-for-dcs/
  9. Yes. But You have to train Windows speak recognition. Go to Settings -> Time&language -> Chose 'Speech' on the menu on the left -> set language English and tick the 'Recognize non-native accents for this language'. This assumes you downloaded the english package (It's below in this window) For training: Press windows-key + Ctrl + S In the speech recognition window with the right mouseclick, you find all the prerequisites to train windows to your voice.
  10. For troubleshooting I did the following: - repair DCS - delete export.lua I started the game (w/o VAICOM): Jester wheel was available again, the commands ("apply air" via the comm-menu) worked. I started VAICOM, started the game: The module was recognized, Jester answered, I issued the command "apply air" which was recognized, the chief answered "no air available" So: It is something with Voiceattack/VAICOM, but I have no clue where to search... EDIT: Solved. Have to apply command "Connect Air Supply" first...
  11. Yes; it's the chief who reports no air is available... Regards
  12. I am not sure whether it is a problem with VAICOM or unrelated: After installing I tried to do the F14-cold start-mission from the 'Instant action'-menu, which worked flawlessly before. After request, the chief connects the GND PWR, I asked Jester for startup. Jester answers and asks for the air. I give the command 'Apply AIR', and the chief answers that there is no air available... Any hints? EDIT: Solved. Have to apply the command "Connect Air Supply" first.
  13. Would you mind to send a complete setup? With all the settings in DCS, steam, steamVR, WMR? For me, being a bit older, it is so horribly complicated to find optimum settings.... When I switched from the Vive to the reverb I had to reinstall windows and also followed Thuds setup (Which I didn't know before) and my experience w/o changing hardware is I have better performance with the reverb than with the Vive before (AND have the resolution of the reverb). But probably, there is more to tune ...
  14. Hi, Setting up my new reverb I followed the blog here: https://vr4dcs.com/category/reverb-setup/ I understand, that DCS is only using 2 physical cores of a CPU. As described, I forced DCS to run on core #5 and #6 of my i7-6800K-processor. I forced all other apps (Steam-related) to not use CPU-core #5 and #6. I installed as well the fpsVR-app to check the performance. Now, with the proposed setup I see there is some reserve in the GPU, but the CPU is running on 100%. I repeated the same scenario with Lasso disabled and had an average CPU-load of ~40%. My question: is fpsVR averaging the load of the 6 physical cores, and DCS is still running on 100%? Is therefore the 100% the best achievable, or expressed differently: Should I look fo a faster CPU? Regards, flankerrider

  16. For me, the lightning would be a very good addition to DCS. I love the shape, the design, the time... And the climb performance is awesome! Check here: Quax Gesendet von meinem HTC One M9 mit Tapatalk
  17. Allow another 'beginner'-question inbetween: Do you guys use the default.lua's to configure your HOTAS completely? In other words: If I create default.lua's adapted to my HOTAS and replace the original ones, does that relieve me completely from configuring in the game with the options menu? flankerrider
  18. Hi LeCuvier, Thanks for the exhaustive answer; very much appreciated! Actually, in the headline, I stated that I was looking for a solution for the FW190D, but you guessed it anyhow. And thanks for the code also for the Bf109. I'll program the Warthog.lua and the default.lua right away... flankerrider
  19. How to program Engine CUTOFF/Engine START on the Fw190D Hi, I cannot reasonably state to know what exactly I am doing while tampering with the lua-files here, however: I want to program the warthog-throttle in a way that BTN29 gives me a behaviour like the throttle of the Fw190: When the throttle is pulled over the notch towards IDLE (BTN29 activated) the engine should be CUTOFF, when pulled over the notch towards increasing throttle, it should trigger 'Throttle to start'. According to the HOWTO I inserted a line into the default.lua: {combos = {{key = 'JOY_BTN29'}}, cockpit_device_id = devices.ENGINE_SYSTEM, down = device_commands.Button_1, value_down = 1.0, up = device_commands.Button_2, value_up = 0.0, name = _('Engine CUTOFF'), category = _('Engine Control')}, Obviously, it didn't work. Any hints? Regards, flankerrider
  20. Hallo Veteran66, Ich habe gerade das Paket gefunden, und bin begeistert vom deutschen Sprech! Genau das hat mir gefehlt! Danke dafür! Gibt es weitere Projekte? flankerrider
