  1. Ok here's a quick view of what happens using analog axis slew on the A10 for me. Am I the only one in this case? Happens when zoomed, in wide angle or when using other sensors the slew axis is perfectly smooth.
  2. Well it actually is pretty difficult to point exactly on a tank in full zoom.... I think it would be easier using a digital hat, which is non sense. Feels like it could be some numerical rounding issues regarding coordinates.... Will try to make a video to show you how bad it actually is.
  3. Even a tank on the ground, if you point on its top from low altitude the line of sight could intersect the ground meters behind without using laser.
  4. To some extent it is. For example if you mark a target roof without laser ranging the actual point saved is the ground behind the target, whereas with laser on, it actually saves coordinates of the target roof. If you are marking the roof of a target from pretty long range/low altitude this can make 10 meter difference or even more.
  5. Like to use the laser just to correctly point a mark on the ground with correct distance ranging.
  6. Pretty sure I did not use it in latched mode, nor used it a lot... Could it be too hot just being not used but just switched to "armed" for too long?
  7. Hi pilots, Had an Enemy Within campaign mission yesterday, and at some point when pressing the directional nose wheel button the "L" of the laser status in TGP screen wouldn't flash anymore. Tried laser arm off/on switching with no luck. Then later it would just work again for no apparent reason (I tried to go in TGP stdby/ground multiple times). Did not use it much at all before it stopped working so not sure it could be a temperature protection issue.... Anyone ever had this kind of behaviour? Thanks
  8. My slew is already upgraded and perfectly smooth for everything except A10 TGP :(
  9. Hi, Not sure if this has always been like this as before I was slewing TGP with hat buttons. Now I have a Warthog throttle with upgraded slew, using analog slew axis X and Y, the TGP moves really really harsh, it's not smooth at all even when using small inputs and makes it hard to aim at anything if using some zoom. Cursor is working perfectly if slewing on the TAD screen for example so don't think it's an input issue on my side. Thanks for the help!
  10. ACLS was working perfectly for last 2 months. Broken again this last patch.
  11. I am talking about the datalink slope that is shown if selected on HUD and used by ACLS. It's not working anymore since last update. ICLS slope is working correctly though.
  12. Instant action caucasus CASE 1 supercarrier. Tuning on Washington 320.20 link frequency gives a wrong glide slope for me. Alignement is good but slope totally off. Didn't even try to engage ACLS it would result in an ocean dive :p
  13. I tested on Caucasus instant action Case I supercarrier. Freq is 320.00, the localiser moves but it is showing the plane ultra high while you are already too low. Axis alignement is working normally.
  14. Broken again for me :( Glide path completly out when tuned on correct datalink frequency. Was working perfectly until last patch.
  15. I think you should map sidewall buttons because they'll also allow you to bomb in CCRP mode. Hi and LO are used to designate the ground target.
  16. Air refueling has come from really complicated to easy peasy now :) Really enjoying the hardware!
  17. Finally got it! Had to adapt a special holding bracket but now.... Such a pleasure to fly with the CM2!! :)

    MP map markers

Yeah it's way easier to name it in the label and use jester wheel to choose the correct map marker by full text name. What I did until now is asking the VAICOM RIO the map marker number 2 / 3 /4 ... until he answers that there is no map marker available. Then you know the one you add in f10 map will be that number....
  19. Mmmm I'm using RIO in hot mike, so it never closes it as I don't release any TX.
  20. Hey guys, I have no problem with the "Jester Option" recognition and use, and that kind of backup is indeed super handy for some stuff like map markers and so on. But I also have the plane disapearing issue. When the wheel appear, no plane anymore... I need to switch to RIO sit then back in pilot seat to get back in my plane :p Any idea with that issue?
  21. With Jester wheel back now VAICOM is perfect :)
  22. Kiss off and salute are working for me.
  23. Hi Hollywood, here's the problem I have since the DCS update just after your RIO update (that was working perfectly). If I ask for link host Lincoln, it tunes for another unit. 1:27:36.168 Done. 1:27:36.132 Constructing message... 1:27:36.126 TX1 | VHF/UHF ARC-182: [ CVN-72 Abraham Lincoln ] , [ DL Host Lincoln ] 1:27:36.120 Have result, identified as command: Link Host Lincoln 1:27:36.114 Have result, identified as recipient: Lincoln 1:27:36.108 Captured sentence: link host lincoln This command tunes to 303.2 instead of 307.20 Attached is the kneeboard, from change log of DCS they indeed added new units to datalink (those units weren't present in the kneeboard in previous version). Hope it helps!
  24. Just depends if there are support ships also using datalink. If carrier is alone or maybe in a particular unit order it works. Else it gets tuned on support ships datalink frequency
  25. New open beta broke the link host that was working yesterday :'( They added new ship units to datalink and apparently when asking for link host "carrier" it's tuning for escort ships now.
