  1. And you are sure you have a "Ready to taxi" from him?
  2. Only had this couple of times after probably damaging INS in full aft stick stupid manoeuvres. Could it be possible that catapult launch itself damages it as sometimes we get a pilot blackout at start of launch?
  3. Ok thanks, So I'll keep being perfect! :)
  4. Well as long as you don't care the BIT tests it is playable for sure :)
  5. Hi guys, I did not compare with the F18 behaviour so also could be a supercarrier early problem, but when doing a perfect approach (perfect in ACLS or autothrottle, I'm not that good haha), the LSO tends to say "you'r too slow" or "too fast" while I'm perfectly in the middle of E bracket the whole time. Maybe it's only tuned for the F18 AOA at the moment? Thanks!

    Link Tune bug?

Corrected in last version. Thanks Hollywood ;)
  7. For some reason it updated one library but not RIO. After second restart it updated it as well and everything is now corrected and working. Super thanks!
  8. Thanks! However I have still some troubles now you added supercarrier names: I can't use TACAN TUNE [Lincoln] : command is nerver recognized. It's as he only wants to interpret something like Tacan Tune frequency. So I end up with stuff like: 7:55:01.736 TX4 | AUTO: [ RIO ],[ ],[ ] TACAN Tune 09Y [ ] [ ] If I say the opposite [Lincoln] Tacan tune, everything is recognized but it has no effect on tacan frequency. And for the link host command, it is recognized but has no effect on the frequency tuned by Jester: (I only get the info message not the Jester acknowledge. Also Link Tune 0 7 decimal 2 is for exemple perfeclt recognized, Jester acknoledges, but frequency is never really changed in RIO seat. Hope it helps find the issue! Thanks
  9. Hi guys, I'm trying to understand a bit better how Jester is handling the countermeasures, and I'm a bit confused..... I had some tries with test missions and I'm still unsure about what I'm doing.... Apparently if I set a chaff program and ask for Dispense order chaff program, Jester is launching selected program when engaged by a radar. If I set single he just launches one chaff per one chaff and if I ask chaff tight, he doesn't use chaff. Am I right? But for flares, apparently he never uses the selected program for whatever reason? Even if I ask for dispense order flares program and with a 10x10 flares program, he just launches one or couple of flares when he sees an IR missile incoming. What are the good practice regarding what we ask Jester for CMS? Thanks for the tips!
  10. Did some tests and indeed just need to tell the kiss off command on your wingman radio. He will then break formation and manage a gap to land behind you. Without it he just tries to break with you and it's then all messed up :p
  11. Everything works as expected if you have only GBU or only MK82 though. Pretty strange!
  12. Ok so you think it's normal to have to ask Jester for paveways to pickle my MK82 and then ask him for Mark 82's to pickle my GBU12 ? I was using a mixed loadout as attached. Just tested with only GBU12 onboard and this time asking for MK82 Jester answered "impossible no MK82 on board", and asking for Paveways Jester selected GBU12 correctly. Trying to help correct what appears to be a real bug, don't need smart remarks that I need to google search ;)
  13. Select Washington works for me. I’m just missing the link host « supercarrier name ».
  14. Sorry it's me again :music_whistling: Just had my first test with a JTAC, and must admit it's ****ing cool to just speak :) I have a bug with RIO though: If I ask jester for Paveways, he answers "Selecting GBU", and when I pickle... I pickle MK82 bombs....... Fun part is if I ask him to select mark 82s, he answers: selecting MK82.... and now pickles my GBU12 :D Hope it helps to correct it! Thanks
  15. You guys have the same "0" command in the database as in the picture I posted yesterday? Using import theatres?
  16. Couple of advices: I agree something is wrong with the "zero". Although not 100% satisfying, I can solve this by saying "OH" instead of "ZERO". Don't ask why but it works, "zero" is a no go for recognistion of that command. For the "decimal", you can just duplicate the command in the profile and replace "decimal" by "point". Feels more natural and gets recognized easier. Still don't forget to pronounce "oh" and not "zero" :)
  17. Same here and in certain light angles the AOA lights are just white opaque squares.

    ACLS

Well I was trying being sarcastic here :) I am definitly talking about ACLS and tested it two times yesterday and it worked perfectly the two times. Just try it on the Gulf instant action as maybe it's related on the carrier actually used on those missions, can't remember if it was Washington or Lincoln though. Only "special" thing I did, is because I'm using VIACOM and couldn't make it work to tune the datalink, I input the frequency manually from Jester pit (can't ask Jester to do it through GUI when using VIACOM). And yes I know following ACLS would put me into water in previous version but I can guarantee you it worked yesterday two times in a row :p
  19. Well as I'm not too kind about ultra realistic shape I'd prefer the virpil one that can do pretty much everything instead of switching 250$ grips each time :p But I'm considering that advice.... Will see after next restock. One question though: is there an analogue twist axis on the Thrustmaster? Because I need this or the analogue paddle on the virpils so I can brake....
  20. One stupid thing to try is going from UK to US or the opposite. For some reason I have lot of troubles with US whereas my accent is definitely far from UK cup of tea :)

    ACLS

If ICLS can do a 3 wire in case 3 with my hands off throttle and stick then you’re right. :music_whistling: Dunno if it’s linked to the carrier or what but the super carrier missions case 1 and case 3 on the Gulf théâtre I have ACLS working 100% sure.

    Link Tune bug?

Hi, I'm trying to test ACLS on the F14 and I have a strange bug. If I don't use VAICOM, I ask Jester using wheel GUI to link host on the carrier it works. Then If I ask Jester in VAICOM using Link Tune 0 7 decimal 2, the command is acknowledged in DCS message and frequency recognized is perfect (307.20), Jester says "OK", but in the end Jester never changes the frequency !!?? I have to go in his pit to see freq is still wrong and change it manually. Strangely enough, if I say Link Decimal 10, then Jester says OK and set the freq as expected to 300.10. So the link tune manual frequency looks bugged to me, dunno why. Thanks for the help.

    ACLS

Well for me it works apparently :p Is it randomly working or solved? I tried it in instant action CASE3 supercarrier on the gulf In the case 1 mission frequency is different but it works also perfectly
  24. It's working perfectly for me, but I say the command on the radio tuned to the carrier ATC indeed
  25. Anyway I can't order any grip so I'll keep looking at my useless base :p
