Last time i made the Su-27 as one of my main game jets was back in the FC 1.12B, era when all airfields still had complete ILS. My apologies

So I assume this isn't a bug and really more of a feature now? Back in 2.7, you could have that Deviation Circle in every airfield of any map, although I only have the Default Caucasus, Persian Gulf & Marianas.

I tried at Mozdok.. I guess you're right. How do we know if a given airfield has the PRMG system installed?

I see, so i guess Russian FC jets can only do precision approaches on certain airfields now? I always thought the Su-27, being an FC3 plane, only have "instant" ILS modes.. since we can't really tune to the proper ILS, beacons, TACAN or whatever navaids the map has^^

Sorry for the consecutive posts but anyways I think ever since I've updated to the 2.8 Stable Version, the Su-27's HUD Deviation/Localizer Circle no longer appears. The Navigation/glideslope circle, HSI and HDD displays are fine though. In the pics are two different airfields, first in Al Minhad then Mineralnye Vody

If your airbase is in a higher elevation area (e.g. Mineralnye Vody, Beslan, etc..), do you set your altimeter to the aerodrome's elevation? or leave it as is? ..a bit confusing for me coming from the Eagle, wherein the pressure altimeter is automatically set to the airfield's altitude. Thanks^

Lately i've been getting this error.. Doesn't matter if I'm in offline or regular mode.. The game would automatically exit after some good 5 to 10 minutes I'm running on Stable version 2.7.18.30765 I only run and play DCS on my on a single PC.. i don't have any laptop or other rigs What could be the problem for this one? I just kinda want to know the status of this one? ...since, it's just some texture bug and not parameter related at least for me. I know FC3 is considered a finished product but i hope this gets addressed even if it's not really an experience breaking bug. Cheers^

You can try checking out Sukhoi Gaming Channel on youtube too. The guy has videos nailing people on multiplayer using ERs and ETs at BVR ranges.

It's almost a year now since i reported this, and the bug is still present in stable 2.7.16.28157.

ok then thanks all Thing is.. seems that Sine Wave or Smart UPS are virtually non existent in our country.. #third_world_problems maybe lol.. or at least.. the handful of them (and hard to find..) seem to cost more than 1650 cards.. & seems only available to business or corporate entities.. Are non sine wave ups really that bad? I'm more inclined now to just grab any of those 1000VA and above rated UPS

slr, I've been busy lately but anyways so for UPS with Higher VA values, the more time i have to shut down my rig if it's a complete power outage? and yeah, it's been the first time i ever read about sine wave UPS.. The only ones i usually see here are 650VA APC or some other brand it seems. Then a handful of 1000VA or 2000VA models.

..and prolly considering the fact DCS is running.. Do i get like 650 VA, 1000 VA or 2000 VA? Anyway my goal is to avoid a complete shutdown of my rig.. when there'd be times the electric power would just go out for a few seconds to a minute, especially when there are thunderstorm CBs going around our place.. Of course, if the power outage seems long, i'd try to shut down my PC as fast as i can. Thanks

I went for the 3060 Ti 8gb with 650 watts PSU instead, since the 3060 12gb isn't available here in our area. I can now set to MSAA to a modest 2x and run at 60fps most of the time over Dubai. I set my v-sync on since i'm running on an older 60hz monitor so yeah.. Thanks for that explanation with tier list and Thanks a lot again all ^^

I see thanks again all^ I guess i'd aim for a 3060 now.. although I guess i need to change my power supply if ever right? Is 650 watts enough? The thing is, used computer parts selling is almost non existent in our country it seems. Either it's new or nothing. It's all brand new and once it goes out, it's likely to be gone forever. Worse case, I might just have to go with an RX 6600 (assuming i can find stocks of that too..) if i can longer find the 3060 or the 6600 XT in our area..

I see, thanks Generally i wouldn't have bottleneck or power supply problems if I go RX 6600 right? since I'm thinking its a more powerful card than the 1660 Ti / Supers or 3050s or maybe the 1660 or the 3050 is still the better choice for my 10100?

How about FPS in general, is it also driven by Graphics card or more from the Processor itself? Yeah, i couldn't buy second hand or used PC hardware here.. It's not really a thing in our place it seems. It's always just brand new stuff and once it goes out, it's likely to be out of stock forever.

I'm thinking of upgrading my Graphics card, either getting the 1660 super / ti or the RX 6600 vanilla.. not the XT version i'm also low-key thinking of the RTX 3060 (not TI) but albeit it's more of bottleneck city for that.. For reference, My current specs are: i3 10100 GTX 1650 4GB B460m Board 32 GB RAM Windows 10 & DCS installation in the SSD NVME M.2 @ 500GB 1TB HDD 550 Watts PSU Playing on a 60hz Monitor 1080p.. so I'm running with V-sync On, using Nvidia's control panel and not the in-game option we have.. FPS is essentially locked at 60 (30 when around Dubai or Abu Dhabi city proper) Will there be a benefit for me switching to these Graphics Cards? Also I have Anti Aliasing Off so i'm used to playing with Eww Jaggies just so i could maintain 60 FPS most of the time.. would upgrading cards enable me on switch on MSAA at least to x2 or it's more of a CPU thing?
