You say you're running both DCS and beta - is that necessary now?

My squadron uses the stable for regular training and the open beta to test the latest modules or implemented features. That's why I have 2 versions installed. Both are located on a separate 2TB M.2 nvme. So space isn't an issue.

and also stick the DED as on overlay on your main monitor for your sick button box, RWR etc

You mean the DED of the F-16 ICP itself? (I got the VIPER MIP set a few days ago)

Ensure your paths are set correctly and follow my tutorial above to ensure you have set everything in Windows and Simappro correctly

Paths are set correctly. However the devil is in the details. My Windows display settings and setup for the monitors were different then what your tutorial suggest. Once I put both MFDs under the main screen in the display setup screen the issues for open beta disappeared. Thanks a lot MustangSally ❤️

  2. Hello guys and girls,

I have an issue with the orientation of the display and the MFD setup on the OpenBeta 2.9.4.53549. The previous OpenBeta was also affected.

In the stable everything works as it should. SimAppPro is version 1.13.0. Is there a way to solve the issue?

I am looking forward to your answers

    Best regards

  3. Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Since I mainly fly the Warthog and the Viper I would like to upgrade from the TM stick. Therefore I am curious whether the RealSimulator F-16 grip or any of its versions is compatible with either the VIRPIL CM2/CM3 and WarBRD/-D bases. I want to upgrade from the TM stick.

I am looking forward to your answers.

    Regards

  4. Did the repair today. It worked like a charm.💯

On mine the original switch had some hot glue on the cables so I cut the wires to remove the switch.

I did it as close as possible to the housing so that there is enough wire left to do the resoldering and fit the switch into the gap.

After soldering the OTTO switch to the wires I used Tesa electricians tape as recommended and it fit snuggly into the casing.

VIRPIL's Joystick Tester indicated proper function of all buttons and axis. In DCS there is no occasional double click anymore.

I love the tactile feedback and the click sound of the OTTO switch.🖲️

Thank you very much for your in-depth guide. It made the whole process possible in the first place. 🤗

  5. Hi DeadMeat,

since the index button on my Warthog stick started to register two presses every once in a while (which makes switching the master modes in the A-10C II annoying as one is skipped suddenly) I decided to order 2x of the OTTO P1-11118.

What do I have to regard in terms of soldering and orientation? From your pictures I have deduced that I have to remove the old index button, insert the OTTO P1-11118 and solder a green and a black wire to the corresponding contacts of the OTTO button. Are there markings that indicate which contact point is left and right so that I solder everything correctly?

    Regards

  6. @inexus I have attached mine to my Monstertech flight stand with pedal extension. The provided slot nuts and screws hold everything in place perfectly tight - that means braking with confidence. Prior to that I had a self-made, low-profile, stand alone aluminum rig made of 5 profiles. I also used slot nuts and screws to secure everything. Here are some pictures in case you want to see how it looks - and don't mind the messy cable "management" 😄

  7. Hello fellow hawg drivers,

recently I have wondered how close the TM Warthog stick is to the original in terms of the selected material.

Is the real stick also made of metal or another material such as resin or plastic?

Judging from several photos the cuts, dents and chipped paint indicate metal. However,

I haven't been next to the real thing so I rather ask you guys.

    Looking forward to your answers.

Stay safe and always 3 green!

    Best regards

  8. @Wing I ordered mine on 27th May. ORDER #6438.

After three weeks I received the shipping notification on 15th June.

It would have been at my doorstep on 14th June if I hadn't missed the mailman.

@Deltaalphalima1 Glad to hear, so far I enjoy the square pattern. Reaching the corners isn't a problem for me. In the future I might try the circular pattern if I am bored and need something to do 😄

Personally, I sense that the circular pattern will also give us the Playstation Dualshock feeling. Thinking back I just loved to rotate the thumb sticks for the sake of

rotating them in a circular fashion. It was and still is so satisfying 🙂

  9. Mine arrived yesterday🥳 However, I hadn't been at home so I had to pick it up from the post office today 😄

To anyone who hesitates: Go grab it! It's a completely different ball game.

After carefully going through the installation instructions and fiddling around to remove the original slew sensor

installation and calibration was pretty straightforward and I am very happy about the results 😊

I currently have the gate front plate installed. @Deltaalphalima1 Is there any difference in terms of control and range between square and gate?

    Best regards

  10. Das ALE-47 CMDS verfügt über 6 Programme. 1 - 4 werden im MAN Modus per CMS Up aktiviert. In SEMI/ AUTO mit CMS Down.

    Edit:

Oder versuch: Start -> Alle Programme -> Eagle Dynamics -> DCS World Open Beta -> Update DCS World OpenBeta
