  2. You don’t need the vsn files. They are already inside the package and have been renamed to work with the JF-17.
  3. I’ll have to make sure it’s still working for me. It’s possible ED put some kind of lock on the free fly planes or it’s possible the last update broke the mod.

  6. If anyone know how to make a switch trigger a animation or how to make a key binding to fire a animation hit me up and we can try and the refueling probe working.
  7. No idea honestly. I think the version they have is one of those F-15 or Su-25 cockpit kinda deals.
  8. So I am actually trying something along the same lines. But I am attaching it to the centerline. Only issue I am having is that the attach_point_position = {0.0, 0.0, 0.0}}, is still attached to where the pylon is. Is there a easier way to find out the coordinates for placing this thing?

  10. Alright here you go. Probe is functional for Ai, problem is I dont know enough about systems to change the bindings of the jf-17 switches to fire the animation to extend the probe. Updated model from the VSN guys (THANKS AGAIN!!!!). If anyone can get the probe to work let me know and Ill update the package. mods.gorgas.airforce/Gripen.zip Install it directly over the JF-17 in the install of DCS. yes it brakes IC (duh)

  12. A US based mil sim light community. The 332nd Expeditionary Force started out as a small squadron called The Gorgas Army Air Corps. This unit has gone through several iterations but always running on the backstory that is taken from a fiction that is used by most branches of the US military for training. The unit was always based around being a group of friends running a mil sim light unit. After a ton of brainstorming we came up with the idea for the 332nd. We are now a mil sim light community. We are broken down into sub groups (at this time about the size of maybe two flights) that simulate different units. This gives our members a large group of aircraft or jobs to pick from. These groups are broken down into: 147th Fighter Squadron: All US Air Force based aircraft. VMFA-112: Any navy based aircraft. 906th Tactical Fighter Group: Any aircraft that operated in EU and Asia. We also run our own servers. That right severs, we have one for each of the maps. With this we run our own PVE / PVP world. A navy group may leave a area and the carrier will move to another map. A group protecting Gorgas (the name for the fictional version of Georgia) and fly to Navada for training.   13. Yep, once I make sure everything works. If things don't work I'll release it as is and just explain what doesn't work.
  14. I got ahold of the VSN guys (or guy) and got a new version of the exterior model. I have placed this with my so far unreleased Gripen flight model changes. So far Ai functions perfectly. Got lights working Ai can use the fuel probe TPOD mount on the Gripen is working Added Gripen fuel tanks Added gripens crew ladder (to be tested) Since the gripen normally has much better electronics and a full 3 extra hard points I used some of the slots on the model to make them into pod areas. There is one for the data and one for ecm. This is done to try to offset what I can to match the Gripen Cs electronics. The pods do not show on the model. How the mod differs from at actual gripen 1. The gripen actually has more lights but they are not on the model 2. I cannot change out the JF-17s gun for the gripens. The system didn't like it. 3. While the Chinese took massive ”ques” from the Gripen when making their cockpit they went extremely cheap in some ways. Example being the oxygen knob. Stuff like that we can't change but for the most part the cockpits are extremely close. 4. Uses Chinese weapons. I don't know if the system will work if I put then on so I am not going to try. In how has the flight model been changed. The only reason why I see this in any way working is the fact that the Jeff and the Gripen on paper are extremely close IN EVERYTHING. Gripens engine is stronger but it's afterburner doesn't put out as much top force. The Jeff is lighter but this because the Gripen carries more fuel. The Gripen is about 2 extra meters on wing area. Now these are figures I am pulling out of my head on the fly so forgive me is some details are a bit off. But you get the idea. Luckily all these minor details are public (minus radar cross section because Saab inflates there numbers, so I had to use 3rd party intelligence reports. ) and I am able to change them via the lua scripting. With the aircraft being so close to each other after these numbers are changed the EFM should take care of the rest. This is sadly all I can do and as close as I can get to a gripen in DCS. Hopefully the VSN guys are on the ball and everything works out with being able to control things in the cockpit.

  16. Barring that is anyone knows any of the VSN guys maybe they would edit their model for us so it will work. Since this mod uses their mode already.
  17. I tried to get a p3d guy to donate his Gripen model but sadly it’s a no go.

  19. No can do. They are setup on different augment numbers and without access tot he code of A. JF-17 or B. The 3D model for gripen so we can change the numbers. You can see that the animations work in the model viewer but we have no way of triggering them.

  22. I know they started encrypting, but if I wanted to build say a hack job of the mig-29s, Su-27, and Su-25T can that even be done anymore?
  23. Ok so I am guessing something got lost. We are starting to add JF-17s to our server and I though I had to put a text string someplace to make it work right with the IFF. Cant find anything in chucks guide or the manual.
  24. I am in a gaming community that has our own live persistence server. Normally we have no more than 8 at any given time. We are CST based.
