  1. I think I spoke to soon. I’ve had a ticket in to help with software and haven’t heard anything in almost a week. Seems hit or miss when it comes to support.
  2. I’m probably going to use some blue loctite on the base screws(not the red).
  3. I’m sure they will. This typically happens to me and it’s an extremely easy fix. Story of my life:)
  4. I took mine apart and it’s 03. I used the picture on the forum that shows 03 -05 or 06. Yes I did load device profile and yes it is “sync green”. It seems to work in DCS. I’m just afraid there’s going to be a conflict down the road of some sort. Maybe there won’t be. I sent Virpil a support ticket. We’ll see how that goes. Thanks Dburne
  5. Ok I have my t50 stick and throttle working however I still have an issue. In the upper right corner of the configuer software I can’t seem to change it from version 07. I have PCB version 03. I also cannot get the “set PCB” box (figure 1 #6 in the manual) to show, it has disappeared. I assume it does that for some reason. I also have disconnected the throttle since I believe PCB 07 is for the throttle. Does anyone have any ideas on how to change your PCB? Sorry if this is confusing but I have little experience with this stuff. Thanks
  6. Took mine apart. It’s version 03. I was running version 07 when I had my throttle and stick connected. I removed the throttle and reloaded software because it was frozen as 07. That had to cause a conflict. My guess.
  7. Is there something I’m missing here about the PCB, shouldn’t there be a way to determine what type of PCB you have besides taking the base apart? Like serial numbers which should indicate what PCB version you have? Thanks
  8. Ok. Well I got PCD figured out however shouldn’t it automatically find it in the software? Or do I have to take the base apart to look at it.
  9. I still don’t know what Device PCB means in the software configure box and what do the 01 thru 07 mean? I think there are 7 in the list plus a light PCB Device? Can someone tell me what this is and what I’m supposed to with a T50 stick? Thanks
  10. I think they are designing a new base but that’s a guess. Please make it adaptable to the floor for cockpit builders.
  11. I like what you did too Goblin. Very good work/design.
  12. I bought a throttle setup from the gvl224 guy. He builds great stuff and customized too.
  13. As some of you know US Customs has held a few throttles for some reason. Anyway mine was late so I contacted Virpil. They responded that day. Their support team started an investigation. My throttle was found and sent to me in a week. I guess us customs was holding it for some reason. Anyway, all good. Virpil did respond quickly, they were on it within hours. Gives me a lot of faith in buying items from them for sure. Hopefully this little issue with customs is over. Btw I’m very impressed with the throttle. Thanks Virpil! Swine PS. My issue wasn’t a technical issue, more of a shipping problem so they may have different response times.
  14. Mine just says arrived in New York(Customs) October 1 and that’s it. They say US customs can hold and item for 45 days but I still think something is wrong in my situation. The last order I made was at my doorstep in 2 weeks. Thanks for the info though Chief.
  15. Thanks Goblin for the detailed help/measurements. Chief? How did you find out customs held it up. Did you go through Virpil or just USPS direct? Thanks
  16. What are your cutout measurements on the seat roughly? For the stick area. Thanks sir Btw my throttle is being held up in New York I think by customs. Virpil is looking into it. I think it’s not uncommon. Anyway I am looking forward to getting it.
  17. That’s really bizarre. I hope they continue with an advanced base for flight simmers.
  18. This is funny. I’m in the process of doing the same thing Goblin. The steel plate you had cut - what kind of steel or aluminum did you use? Did you weld it to the chair frame piece? Thanks
  19. What’s the deal with the final run of t50 bases? Are they planning on not selling bases without sticks anymore, only with a stick purchase? Is a new base being put into production? I’m kind of confused but what else is new:) This is from one of the latest blogs. “Hello VIRPILs! After the successful launch of our new worldwide webstore, we were overwhelmed to see such monumental demand for our VPC MongoosT-50 base. Due to receiving messages from many users that they missed the opportunity to purchase this base yesterday, we will be doing a final production run before discontinuation which will be available for purchase by the end of November! As we are moving away from taking pre-orders, instead we request that anyone who still wishes to purchase an MT-50 base to simply sign up for the stock alert email on our webstore so that you are alerted when they are available. If anyone has any questions - please contact us at support@virpil.com. Thank you for your continued support! VIRPIL Controls Team”
  20. So this is going to have a playable rear seat navigator right? That’s where I need to be:)
  21. Thanks. It look pretty incredible. A lot of work I’m sure.
  22. I’m new and pretty stupid in regards to current events here - so the F-14 is still in development right? Just no time frame on completion? Thanks
  23. Orders are coming in and I am in the state of Montana - US. Mine was delayed due to the throttle extension mount not being in stock. Remember guys if you place a large order and one item is out of stock they hold the order to ship at once. Even if it takes months. Saves on shipping. Everything in though and a happy customer!!!! I placed the order in April this year:) Now that Virpil has moved into the new shop I bet stuff begins to roll out much faster. All good.
  24. I’d definitely buy an F-18C version if you guys came out with one. I may just get the A-10 too. It looks like a very nice product
  25. Hello. I hope this is in the right area of the forum. I am having a custom control box made to go with a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS setup. I am looking for some advice on what switches or buttons you guys would have built in this setup other than the switches that are already on the warthog stick and throttle. I probably could have an additional 15 or so switches. I’m probably going to have them labeled too and that has a to do with why I’m asking in the first place. Any feedback would be appreciated. Initially I was just going to use this as a WW2 setup but but the DCS F-18 bug got me! Thanks
