  1. Do we have a list of switches for the throttle? Specifically the speed break switch.
  2. Yep same issue here, it’s really difficult to judge distance now approaching a formation. Please ED let us turn this off in the options.
  3. Would it be possible to dig out a config file and bind it in a Lua file? Has anyone done something similar and could point me in the right direction?
  4. Basically if you export your mfds with helios or manually and keep these exports active when running it in vr. CPU frametimes go through the roof.
  5. @BIGNEWY you think this would be relatively easy to expose as a key bind?
  6. It would be great, If we could get a key bind to toggle "use mouse" option in game, that way we can easily center the mouse and use the head movement for navigating the pointer, then toggle "use mouse" with a button press to navigate map, options or click on switches that are difficult to directly look at in VR. I'm talking about this checkbox in VR options. Please make it a keybind in the UI layer for example:
  7. LAlt+C just hides the cursor, Im talking about getting a keybind for this options in the VR settings: This turned off centers the the mouse and lets you only move the mouse ONLY with you head. If we would have a keybind to toggle this option in game, we can easily center the mouse and use the head only for navigating the pointer.
  8. @RedeyeStorm I dont believe so, this is currently only a checkbox under the VR settings. What exactly is the keybind you are talking about?
  9. double click middle mouse button also hides /unhides the cursor. What we really need is a key binding that toggles the “use mouse” functionality on and off! Please ED!
  10. this is a bit embarrassing.... I figured it out... The reason for my high cpu frame time lies in all the monitor exports I'm doing when flying on flatscreen for my cockpit.... I renamed the scripts folder. It runs butter smooth now. oh well, it just took me half a year to find out. everything is working now As always, user error
  11. yeah thanks, I did a test where I disabled smt, disabled on ccx and then assigned cores with Process Lasso.. no luck
  12. Hey Hiob, yep tried all that, bios and chipset is up to date.
  13. Thud is the guy thats running https://vr4dcs.com/ The ingame setting don't matter, since even with everything turned down/ off, lowest resolution and even steam VR SS to 20% I still get the same stutters when looking to the side close to the ground. cpu frame time is always around 25ms. My nvidia settings match what is recommended on vr4dcs: https://vr4dcs.com/2020/10/19/fix-nvidia-g2-control-panel-settings/
  14. yes and yes. I had Thud himself tweak my windows machine. So thats all tuned to perfection.
  15. makes no difference, im running a stock 5950X, 3090 aorus master and 32 gigs of ram. Everything is on m.2 drives. It should run smooth. Every other game in VR is . If I lower all gfx settings and put Stem VR SS to 20% I get the same issue. I dont have the issue with my cv1. Something is up with the G2/WMR and DCS combination.
  16. Installed my 3090 today and still get the same stuttering. This has nothing to do with gfx settings. This is ONLY happening in DCS with the G2. If anybody has a solution please let me know. I tried everything I could find on the internet with no luck.
  17. Yeah I tried all the usual suspects With no visible change. Im betting on nvidia driver in conjunction with dcs and G2, since this is ONLY happening in DCS.
  18. Hey @BIGNEWY, thanks for the tip. I already tried this, no luck
  19. interesting, I tried some older drivers as well with no luck. Wil try the versions you mentioned. Can you explain the stutters you are getting? Are they constant, with any visual setting applied. As in no difference between high or low settings. Do you see it when rolling and looking out the side? Chers
  20. Thanks for the reply @Qiou87. I tried all this already with no luck. @71st_Mastiff Not exactly sure what you are describing there. Where exactly is the error happening? I reinstallend nvidia Drivers with no changes to performance visible. For me as soon as im flying in a mission my cpu frametimes go up and I have constant stutter. when I hit escape my cpu frametimes go to 7ms.
  21. Looks like Im having the exact same issue here. Banking and looking out to the sides with constant stutter. I have tried everything the couple of last weeks. My fps are good, stable 70 on high settings, but ONLY with DCS in VR with G2 this is happening, even if I dial down everything in DCS and steamVR SS to 20% I get the same stutters. @Jacks @PicklePicklePickle, do you guys found any solution?
  22. Yes I did, as I mentioned I’m using an pci express usb extension card to fix the amd usb issues.
  23. Hey everyone. Im a bit at the end of a road here. Not sure what else to try. I get constant stutters with the G2 only in DCS. Other games run butter smooth. Even when turning down all settings inside DCS to low and SteamVR SS to 20% I get the same stutter. Its the strongest when rolling the plane or looking out to the sides of the cockpit. I had Thud from vr4dcs.com tweak my windows, nvidia and DCS setting with no luck. Motion smoothing/ reprojection on off makes no difference. I have 5950x no overclock, 32 gigs of Gskill trident ram, a RTX 3070 all on a ASUS croshair 8 dark hero. I had issues with G2 and the x570 chipset but could fix that with switching from pci gen4 to gen3. Also installed an internal usb pci extension card to circumvent the usb power dropout issues with x570. Running the latest nvida, chipset and motherboard drivers. I also get very high cpu times in fpsVR of about 24 ms. Has anyone any Idea if I am missing something. Help would be much appreciated. I build this pc to run DCS vr with the G2 and I had nothing but problems so far. Thank you!
