  1. Clean armament profile. Weight not an issue. Engine will not throttle past idle.. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  2. Just mapped all flight controls the same and was working fine. Was able to move engine throttle to idle position for startup. Unleashed parking brake and throttle moves forward but no thrust is applied.. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  3. Understood. But this was for small duration (maybe a minute) but I was above 25000 feet which could have contributed to over exertion. I was cruising at 390 knots after a slow climb to cruising altitude. Was trying to get air speed up before setting engine to a cruise setting. Haven't been able to recreate the failure since.. 4. Was dabbling with range on the Harrier and was pushing speed above 26,000 feet when I received an OT warning light on the UFC right border. After the warning I was experiencing degraded thrust and found no way to recover the lost thrust. I am guessing I over-throttled the turbine and broke the turbine. Anyone have any specific knowledge of what happened and is it recoverable? Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  5. ^ This.. You can preform one at slower initial speed but you would need the A10 super light. No ammo, 50% fuel dry, no stores, etc.. My recommendation is to fly the A10 with a very dry loadout, then start to add weight and do it again. You will understand weight bearing much more that way and how it affects taxi, takeoff and flight. Including asymmetric loadouts. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  6. ^ this.. and still works 40-50 years later. ;) Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  7. ^ this.. ..become proficient with setting SPI's on HUD and slaving TGP to it. It helps setting rough waypoints on known locations. If the tally is unknown take it slow and use observation rolls to get visuals on ground areas covered by your fuselage. The good thing about DCS is that ground units are generally visual through clouds and appear as black dot specks from distance. If it's a SAM site, the good news is that it is likely to show you where it is via radar spikes. Just keep your RWR sensors pointed toward your potential tally to lessen the blind zone area. A10 is all about positioning. You need to use your advanced loiter time to slow your way into a combat zone and ask for CAP when available. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  8. It's not a bug really. The throttle cutoff leash just works differently than a detent. Rebind the throttle cutoff to the pinky aft switch then refer to this copy paste of my reply from another thread to understand the functuality.. Unleashed the throttle cutoff will allow the throttle to move in and out of the throttle detent area freely. Once you've advanced the throttle to idle, leash the throttle cutoff to stop the throttle from moving to detent. The parking brake lever stops the throttle from moving beyond idle.. Sounds like you understand now.. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  9. A few things can be an issue. TGP Point mod will latch on the picture, however when creating a SPI, projects through the imaged target through to the ground. Which if the Target is 10m in size, can place the SPI, depending on angle, off target behind the tally. Fix Use Area mode and set SPI slightly above where tire/tracks touch the earth. This will put SPI most certainly underneath the tally. Other issues as some mentioned is to ensure you have your LASTE windage/temperatures accurate. Fixing these alone will significantly improve your accuracy. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  11. It's my understanding that the lasing is not fully functional in early access and still requires tweaking.. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
