I just viewed my track file and the segmented ring is there and shows what i am trying to explain . not sure how far into the file you watched .

not just static targets but any target on the ground, water, moving or parked . the HMD TARGET DIAMOND does not stay locked on it if you have used the HMD. Demon.

for some time i have noticed that when designating a ground non moving target with the HMD ,as soon as you look away from it the designation diamond will not stay locked on it and will be miles away. you must quickly move the senser of priority to the flir Demon-702

i've done a short and long repair to no avail . i keep getting this message.any help would be appreciated

Hello , is there anyone that would be able to do a SKIN for the f18 ? it would be a custom job based on an old canadian f86 in a green camo but done on the f18 and with all the modern canadian markings . if there is anyone willing to take this on please PM me and we can work out the details. thanks. it was a hot start from the ramp so no need to align.

Hello, i hope this is the right place to post this any help would be welcome. i use the f18 and since the latest update i have noticed that if i use the HMD to designate a target on the ground the FLIR will not LOOK at the same location as the HMD, it will be looking some distance away. If I undesignate the target and re center the FLIR then redesignate the target the same result they are not looking in the same place . The flight was a hot start from parking so there shouldn’t be a need to align the HMD . Thanks . Dan .

HELLO ALL i am in need of someone who can do a skin on the F18 specifically a canadian camo recreation of the camo pattern that was used on the old canadian f86 from the mid to late 1950"S . but incorporating all the markings from the current f18"s that we are using today. if you have the skills and are up to the job send me a message and we can fine tune the project. thanks. thanks for the reply's. this suggestion solved the problem . for those using the X56 and would like to use the rotary knob on the top and bottom of the throttle they are identified as JOY-Z AND JOY-RZ

hello , i am trying to map VIEW IN SLOW and VIEW OUT SLOW to the rotary dial on my throttle control on my X56 HOTAS . but it is not listed in the adjust controls menu.does anyone have a suggestion. ? Dan

Hello, as the title says i'm looking for someone to fly with preferably 2-3 would be great. skill level is not important we can all learn as we go . my problem is the time of day /the time zone that i'm in . i live on the east coast of canada so that's gmt -4 hours. plus i can only fly in the morning starting around 08:00 that's 12:00 gmt,for about a 4 hour window on WEEKDAYS NO WEEKENDS.. i have my own server and have been making custom scenarios ,nothing to fancy,but fun nonetheless. i am in my mid fifties and have been flying the f18 for just over a year. i have joined a couple multiplayer squadron's but most of those groups do weekend or nights . so if you think this would work send me a note. to be honest i didnt notice ,i was on the needles all the way in each time . i will attempt again and post it here .

hello is it just me or has the landing gear become very week since the update . i am landing well within the acceptable carrier weight of 34000 and most times the gear are damaged . i didn't think i was that rough on the equipment.is this a problem ,are there others having this same issue as i am ? problem resolved . the cooling fan was not working

a friend is having problems both in single and multiplayer ,both are extremely slow and at time the game wont load at all . he is considering uninstalling and then do a fresh install . will he be able to retrieve his modules that he has paid for and how would he do this ?
