    Flight Training

It drives me impatient sometimes to not see this aircraft out yet. Supposed to come this summer for this year! :( :joystick:
  2. Maybe personal preference. That seems to be the case for most of these new aircraft coming to DCS these days. Only saying old generation aircraft because that is what most of these aircraft are. The WWII-era planes, trainers from Czechoslovakian and Spain times, Korean War, and even Vietnam. Not only until now have we started to push out the modern aircraft like the Hornet, Gazelle, Mirage, Harrier, and (arguably) others like the Tomcat. We still see a mix of these two, from modern to old like the I-16, and MiG-19. But there is definitely a notable shift from old times to wanting all the modern air combat. ]
  3. I believe that the Phantom is an iconic Vietnam-era aircraft, that deserves to have its place in DCS. The E is a good variant, however, that is arguable. Shouldn't we focus and prioritize on the older generation aircraft than the newer ones?
  4. I was hoping to have a fortunate experience of having someone in the back of my L-39 who owns the NS430 have it installed since I do not own it. Sadly it did not happen and was disappointed to see it was only put for the front in this case. If the ZA were to have it, it would be in the back regardless.
  5. 2D is like a separate window inside of DCS that allows you to control it. 3D is the exact same thing, except the only difference separating the two apart, is you have one quite literally modelled into the cockpit.
  6. I would like to try and help clear up this confusion. All I can see right now is a kitty fight with people pointing fingers at each other, saying that they're wrong. As said in the BST Project section: Nowhere was it mentioned that this was originally meant to be served to the L-39, and in NineLine's original announcement post, it was clearly addressed.
  7. Check page 59, 4th post and what was quoted.
