  2. Depends on the GBU. I think the Su-25/A-10A systems can only drop certain bombs that were fitted onto those real airframes inside of DCS.

  4. AFAIK there is already a mod out there for it in DCS. It's an old link, (and I cannot confirm myself if it still works by the looks of it being from 1.x) but I think it is what you're looking for. :) Click here to get the mod.
  5. I believe that the Starway textures have unfortunately been discontinued for the 1.5 version branch. Many users also now use the new and latest 2.5 DCS version, so I don't believe there are a lot of other people able to help you on your situation. (I can't either) Sorry.
  6. The 3D model of the Hawk is only property of VEAO. Even if those were willing to re-code the aircraft systems and institute it as a free mod for DCS, the whole thing would have to be done from scratch. It would be an awesome thing to see in DCS, but currently it isn't possible.

  9. You shouldn't be receiving any IC issues because it is meant to be put in the Saved Games route which DCS does not check for integrity. Putting it in an external hard drive (not the C one) or the Program Files route will break DCS presumably causing an IC error.
  10. I'm not an expert in this field, but suspension should not have any affect on skid mark distance. Maybe DCS displays it ahead/behind due to the speed the wheels are to the ground? Just a guess.
  11. Hello, joojoo. :) Welcome here to the modding section of the forums! To get off into how to correctly install mods and liveries, you first want to check on the forum posts on the method they provide you with. An example here is the A-4E-C, a community made mod by the community. You are given instructions on the installation for that here. I would also like to give you a link to look at, called JSGME. It is a way of controlling mods in your DCS. I wish you the best of luck on getting your mods!
  12. Not really sure if this is a "bug" or not, but landing in the A-4E feels sooo long. Even when holding down the wheelbrakes with spoilers deployed and full flap, it is relatively slow at slowing down. Is this normal in the real aircraft? Or should you be landing at a slower speed?

  14. ^ This goes along with prior stated post. Would like to note one bug I had when trying MB-339: when there are no weapons on the aircraft, the gunsight disappears. However, when hovering over where your switches and dials would be, the point helpers still appear. I believe this is because you did not add visibility track/make the gunsight base the parent.
  15. It may have been rude, but he does bring up a point. Making remarks about something that has been stated many times (maybe not in this thread but elsewhere) and not complying to instructions of the README document as being 'rude' is counterintuitive.
  16. You cannot air to air refuel to my knowledge due to tanker interaction + radio limitation without SDK. I can not confirm the AI being able to do it though.
  17. Hello, everyone. I would like to keep my question simple and brief: is there a simple way of being able to calculate, or in the least, be able to get fairly accurate numbers for an SFM table? By the table, I am referring to the aerodynamics variable inside of SFM_Data, which uses an assortment of many numbers in rows that acts under tabular data. One issue I have found is that when attempting to take real life formulas and entering numbers in, you cannot directly or accurately plug them straight into specified numbers in the SFM table without it not feeling right to the original, forcing you to make several changes with guesswork until you feel like its accurate or shows correct results from testing it. Any answer to this problem is greatly appreciated from me. Thank you in advance! :helpsmilie:

  20. AFAIK, the Shkval color mask is an image file found somewhere in the Bazar folder. You have to edit it to smth. like transparent picture (to get rid of mask to make it raw color) or modify the file with exact name to avoid breaking IC to get it to work. EDIT: Upon doing a file search, the only type of image mask I was able to find was a separate image file for the Ka-50 under Mods/aircraft folder in the Program Files route. Maybe the Su-25T one is held somewhere else?

    Had a quick look, and my Russian is pretty rusty, so I gave my best shot. :D The main conversation is about the flight characteristics of the I-16. From what I was able to gather, Yo-Yo was talking about the coefficient Cy corresponding the the number M. (which M represents mach?) It will apparently have a very unfair advantage against all other warbird aircraft in DCS when it comes to maneuverability. That is all I could understand without going to Google Translate.

  25. Last time I have been able to try this mod, the MB-339 did not support multi-crew compatibility. I believe that that itself is more seen and reserved in official modules, but I do know that it is possible in a mod. You're probably going to be best off with the camera views.
